Authors note:
I'm not really a writer and i think that's quite obvious so the fight sequences ain't as good as I'd like them to be. I changed alot of sequences because its alot to write and i wanna progress the story pretty fast.
Chapter 2: Beacon Academy
"Knowledge will only take you so far... it is up to you to take the next step"
The induction had finished and everyone had to sleep in the ballroom. Noctis and the others had set up their sleeping bags and night utensils, "Maybe we should mingle with some of the students and get some allies on our side?" Prompto had suggested.
Ignis: "Capital idea Prompto"
Noctis: "You're being helpful for a change"
Prompto: "what do you mean for a change?!"
While Prompto is going off in Noctis' ear, he sees a girl with blonde hair and eyes walking in their direction "you must be Noctis my sister told me all about you, my name is Yang and Ruby is my sister" Noctis was about to reply untill Gladio shoves him aside and introduces himself "I'm Gladiolus and those two are Ignis and Prompto" the give a brief greeting before Gladiolus starts flexing on her some more, Noctis and Ignis decide it's time for bed while the others stay up for a bit longer. While sleeping Noctis dreams that he's back in the crystal, he could see a woman talking to Bahamut saying "I'll take everything from you" Bahamut swings his massive sword at salem when suddenly a flaming sword had blocked Bahamuts' blade "Ifrit" Salem couldn't contain her laugh "HAHAHAHA did you think that i would try to take on you and the six alone" at the moment Salem and Ifrit had disappeared.
Team selection
Noctis wakes up from his dream sweating, Noctis puts on his prince fatigues and decides to go for a walk. Noctis didn't know what to think of what he saw, was it a nightmare or another vision like before, either way it didn't matter so Noctis cleared his head and decided to head back and prepare for the trial. Noctis returns to find everyone up and ready, Gladio asks Noctis "where have you been?" Noctis replied "I went to sight see" Prompto jokingly comments "that yang is certainly a sight to see". The four then start to make their way to where professor Ozpin had asked everyone to meet. Ozpin had explained that the first person you make eye contact with would be your partner and that everyone would be coming up with their own landing strategy.
Noctis was standing next to Prompto with the two boys, Jaune and ruby on his right, Prompto turns to Noctis quickly trying to relay a message to him "Uhh Noct, how am i suppose to land with a pisto-AAAHHHHH" Prompto was launched suddenly screaming "NOOOCT" Noctis summoned his engine blade, Ozpin stared at Noctis for he had never seen anyone with the semblance of summoning weapons. Noctis is then launched into the sky, Noctis spots Prompto flying about 20 metres in front of him, Noctis throws his engine blade anticipating where Prompto is going to land. Prompto sees the engine blade heading towards him and grabs it, Noctis then warps to Prompto and stabs his blade into a tree and slowing their momentum, Prompto yells out in joy "AW YEAH we're alive, let's celebrate by eating something dead!". Professor Goodwitch stands in awe "Ozpin did you see that? does he have two semblances?!" Ozpin replies in a calm manner "Yes, these four are certainly different from everyone else". Gladio had summoned his shield and smashed through the trees until he came to a stop, Ignis had spotted a grimm in the forrest so he summoned his spear and slammed down on it breaking his fall. Ignis had bumped into gladio and decided to head to the ruins.
Daemons and Grimm
Ignis had noticed that these grimm were sort of similar to the daemon in Eos, Gladio had suggested that they can investigate on it later and that they needed to find Noctis first. Meanwhile in the forrest Noctis and Prompto bump into Ruby and a girl in a white dress fighting off some grimm, "we should help them" Prompto suggested, "you're right" said Noct. Prompto summoned his pistol and slides under the Beowulf dodging its swing and shooting multiple times, Noctis then warp strikes the Beowulf killing it, he turns to the second one summoning his heavy sword and slashing down on it, the girl in white then finishs it. with the grimm gone the girl in white introduces herself as Weiss, Noctis and Prompto introduce themselves and the four proceed to the ruins.
Weiss asks Noctis "How do you summon weapons like that? is it a semblance? and it so then how do you do that weird teleporting attack? is that special dust?" Noctis overwhelmed by the amount of questions answers "w-well you see... uh... we kind of just..." Ruby then interupts saying "we're here!" the four run in to see Ignis and Gladio standing with Yang and a girl in black who introduces herself as blake. Jaune was also there with 3 other people who introduce themselves as Pyhhra, Nora and Ren, Noctis then Notices a giant grimm, Prompto cries out "That thing is half bird, half storm and half airship" Gladio replies "you realise that's 3 halves right?" everyone begins to take their fighting stance.
Battle
As everyone began to take on the giant grimm hovering above them a death stalker came out of the forrest, Noctis told everyone to focus on the sky while he and his team take on the death stalker, Ignis analyzed the death stalker for a couple of minutes in order to form a strategy, after telling everyone the plan Ignis signals the others "Lets go", the four run head on towards the death stalker, Gladio runs ahead drops on one knee and summons his shield, ignis proceeds to jumps on top of his shield and gladio throws him in the air. Ignis then summons his spear slams down on the death stalker tail, pinning it in place, "NOW PROMPTO!!" Ignis yells, Prompto summons his pistol and says "all it bullet time baby" Prompto shoots out the eyes of the death stalker, Gladio and Noctis then summon their heavy swords and cut the claws off the beast. with the beast defenseless everyone then pulls out their blizzard spells and throw it the death stalker freezing it in place. noctis sees his chance so summons the blade of the mystic and with his final strike he shatters the beast. After finishing his fight Noctis turns around just in time to see Ruby decapitate the giant bird like grimm "there not that bad" Gladiolus says, giving the girls a compliment.
The Six
After Salem had threatened Bahamut he had decided that it was best if the six were brought in to see if the could stop Salems' plans. "So do we all travel to the world of remnant?" The Arcean had said out curiosity "would you send the six strongest entities in Eos to kill her?" Bahamut stared at the floor for a while then replied "we do have another option"
