I groaned as I crawled from the wreckage, my eyes spinning as I turned to stare in dull irritation and pain at the smooshed vehicle behind me. Somehow we'd made it to Springville but past that not so much. A teenager distracted Jason and the furious zombie went into kill mode, swerving is car and running them over like speedbumps. I screeched at him, he squawked at me and suddenly the whole car jerked to a stop. What I came to realize however was that we'd crashed head long into some sort of barrier. Now I realized how stupid I've been for trusting a dead guy to drive.
"Dammit Jason, you're not at home! You can't run over people as you feel like!" I complained as I continued to drag my sorry carcass towards the curb. "We're in the city now! Cities have rules and rules need to be... followed."
I felt myself pause as I hesitantly glanced way up to the higher boot of a shocked officer. Over the ringing in my ears I barely heard the screaming of sirens or the yelling of paramedics. Oh, so somebody called for help. That was good. Maybe. Then again, I didn't really want to be whisked away to somewhere I didn't know. That and I'm pretty sure my Canadian medical care plan didn't reach this far back into the past. In fact, I don't think I even have my health card with me. Dammit.
"Damn..." I grumbled irritably as I tried to drag myself away. "This is stupid."
"She's in shock! Get her!"
"Hold on ma'am!"
"I want hotdogs." I mumbled in response. They shouted as they grabbed my aching arms, pulling he harshly to my feet and shouting. I whined a bit in pain, struggling against them while I turned my eyes to the flaming Jeep. Wait, flaming? Aw peacock and smarties! "JASON! GET OUT! IT'S ON FIRE YOU DUMB ASS!"
"Is your friend in there?" A man appeared in my face and I glared at him. "We'll get him out, don't worry!"
"Leave him alone, he'll get out eventually." I grouched in response. "He crashed it, he'll figure it out."
"..." The entire scene went silent save the crackling of fire and the distant screaming of sirens. Finally the officer scratched the back of his head, turning and shouting more orders. Finally he turned to a nearby paramedic and began again to shout orders. Judging by the looks on their faces, they figured I'd smacked my head which judging by the blood that suddenly seemed to lace into my hair, I probably did. I frowned at the blood then up at the paramedics who clutched me firmly by my arms and gently tried to lay me on my back.
"I don't know you." I stated shocked, fear taking a spike in me as I began to panic. I didn't know these people, I was surrounded by strangers in a world filled with killers. I didn't want to be there. I didn't want them, I needed Jason and Mandy. "Get away! Leave me alone!"
"We're here to help!" The paramedic soothed as he gently prodded my arm for breaks. I growled at him when he went for the stretcher though. "Now now, we're just going to put you in the ambuliance to make sure you're okay. Not going to hurt you, we're friends. So, what's your name?"
"I don't like your face." I spat back. "Where's Jason?"
"...What's your name?"
"OLLY FREAKING OXANFREE!"
"What?"
"JASON!"
"Get the -" Poor man never finished his sentance. I was too busy breaking his nose as I shot upright and bellowed at the top of my lungs.
"JASON, YOU ASSHOLE! IF I GO IN THIS VAN THEY'RE GONNA GET ME NAKED!"
That did the trick. A roar shook the floor and he was there, flaming and P.O'ed as he looked around with a shout of absolute fury. He spotted me, raised his machete and charged. That is, until a fire extinguisher hit him hard on the back of the head causing him to stagger. Alarmed I looked up to see a familiar face scowling down at him, letting loose the fluffy stuff from inside the tank all the while cursing.
"Dumbass! What do you think you were doing?! You can't drive, we already established that!" Freddy snapped as he wrinkled his human nose. In fact, all of him looked human. "Now look what you did! You almost killed our niece! Can't your retarded head figure out which one is at least the brake and the gas pedal? DAMMIT AND STOP RUNNING OVER PEOPLE!"
"UNCLE FRED!" I shouted waving my arms like a loony. He spotted me and immediately the cussing stopped as he dropped the extinguisher on Jason's head, moving quickly to my side. Seeing the blood he glanced over at the bloodied paramedic with a frown before glancing at the wound with a frown. I gripped onto his sweater, hugging onto it with a heavy sniffle. "Long time no see, toaster."
"You too brat." A soft fondness riddled his voice as he sat gently in the ambulance. He glanced over at the clearly pissed Jason, snorting in irritation. "You comin' or you going to run? Figure it out before you become some kid's science experiment."
Jason growled as he hauled himself off the ground with a heavy cough, his body shuddering as he forced bones back into their original place. Around him he heard squeals and gasps of horror but he paid them no mind, simply trudging to the back of the ambulance and sliding in on the other side. Around them, gaping cops and bystanders alike were paid no mind as the three of them tucked close to each other. Odd as they were as a family, they barely glanced over as the doors were hesitantly closed and they were locked in their own little bubble with one poor medic who was forced back there with them.
"So, you seem kind of nervous." I stated as the medic eyed Jason warily. "Don't worry, he's okay as long as you don't try to go under my top."
"...I wasn't going to." The medic frowned. "Why did you tell him we were going to get you naked?"
"Got him out of the rubble, didn't it?"
"I...guess so. Hmph, you're quite the wise cracker for a woman with a bleeding head."
"Oh no, you should've seen me at the shopping mall on Black Friday. I forgot it was B.F. and went out for lunch. Let me tell you, I've never seen fat people run so fast. I mean seriously, they outran me. Well, ran over me but that's not the point. I mean, what if I was a child then what? You'd never even see me -" On and on I began to ramble as my eyes strayed from in to out of focus. I wasn't really sure why it was doing that but whatever. It was kind of fun while it lasted. That and the pain in my head vanished which was an added bonus.
The next thing I coherently remember is being in a bed, looking up in shock at the bright light above my head. I could smell some sort of smelly flower and cleaning supplies, hear a low moaning woman who seemed to be talking nonstop and the background cursing of Freddy as Jason stood idly in the corner. Notcing me awake however he immediately came o my side, ignoring the odd look from a passing doctor as he chirped softly at me.
"Hey big boy?"
A chirp of questioning as he leaned down, rubbing his hockey mask into my neck as he purred pleasantly.
"Next time, screw you. I'm freaking driving."
New chapter up! I know it's been a while (Sorry Sorry) but I'll do what I can.
If you have suggestions or a horror character who has not been on here, send me a PM with the movie and their name (if you want a vague description would be nice as well just to make sure) and I'll do what I can to throw a couple of them in. I'm not making promises mind you, but I figure if some of my readers pitch in, then maybe between all of us we can make a pretty good story, eh?
Wish me luck!
READ, REVIEW, RAVE!
