STARSTRUCKED
A "REAL" CLASSY MOTEL
The crew including Pat settled at the nearest (not that near, in fact) they could find after a good 45 minutes of walking down the streets dragging the luggage and bags and everything else they have behind them.
"Well, guys. Looks like this is it," Pat said in a mid-shocked kinda voice. The crew including Kenny groaned at the sight when they reached the gates of the motel. The motel looked run down, probably doesn't have enough water supplies, since the pool in the front porch looked dried up for centuries and is filled with beer cans and other rubbish. The motel roof looked like a strong wind could blow it all away, and the walls...are just horrible.
"Sweet Dun's Motel," Bob read as he saw the rusted signboard which displayed the name of the motel. "So much for sweetness..." Kenny mocked as he tried to find something "sweet" like the name Sweet Dun. As they were utterly disgusted by sight, they knew best that it was better than sleeping by the roadside like beggars, but if the tour bus was in the option, everyone would vote the motel out. Pat hurried and looked around for the motel manager's door, which was quite obvious since there was a big A4 paper stick on that one door to the left that reads "Manager"; while the others stayed still and grumbled about what luck will they ever get in that motel.
**KNOCK KNOCK** **KNOCK KNOCK** ... **KNOCK KNOCK**...*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK**...
"WHAT THE HELL FELICIA!?" the grumpy-looking, plump man swung the door opened angrily and looked up at Pat then ease up a bit.
"Oh, sorry...I thought you were Felicia, the motel cleaner..." he said apologetically while scanning the motel site then his serious face came up.
"So, waddaya' want? Stayin' here or just some health check inspector?" He asked as he took out a cigarette out from his jeans pocket then light it up as he placed it between his lips.
"Staying here, 6 guys, including me. Can't say how long. But I think it wouldn't be till a week...just a few days. Our bus's busted, so we need a roof to sleep under." Pat said, trying to sound professional even when he wanted to cough cause' the motel guy was puffing the smoke at his face unintentionally.
"Right," he said checking Pat then looking at his 'new' guests before going in his room for a moment. Pat stood there awkward; hoping the rooms they're getting wouldn't be as crappy as what the motel appears to look like. After a while, the motel guy opened up the door holding a record book then flipped it open.
"Motel has 10 rooms, 5 up, 5 down. 2 of the rooms on the upper floor are leakin', so that's not available... and there are 3 rooms vacant, 1 up and 2 down. Number 5, 7 & 6. So you're in luck." He said trying to sound excited with hand gestures then gave the books to Pat to fill it up. Pat motioned a "pen" to him, and then he went in to get it leaving the door ajar behind him. Few secs later, he came out with a pen then gave it to Pat.
"So here's your keys, just don't trash my motel. It's a pain to get this place clean up." He said as if the place was cleaned up when they arrived. Pat ignored him and continued to fill up the 3 columns with information. Then grab the keys from him and went to where the boys were.

"How did it go?" Bob asked impatiently as Pat came closer.
"3 rooms available, there are 6 of us. So we need to share a room –,"
"I'm with Sturly!" Bob said cutting Pat then quickly walk closer to Surly, who was smoking his cigarette next to Pat who then gave them both their room key.
"Ok, then... Kenny?" Pat asked looking at Kenny, who was quiet the whole time. Kenny looked up.
"Oh, I'm fine with anyone. Just don't give me Frank. Scare I can't sleep cause of his snoring." Kenny said in a relax tone while looking over to Frank who just got offended.
"So guess Frank's with me then," Pat said the tossed another key to Kenny. Kenny looked over to his buddy for the night, Ruben... guess he'll do for this few days.
Everyone quickly grab all their belongings and went to their own rooms. Bob and Sturly is in room 7 and their neighbours are Pat and Frank in room 6, who's got Kenny and Ruben under them in room 5. All are pretty much hoping their rooms are in a good shape.
"Excited for the night?" Ruben asked as he unlocked the door.
"Not really, but it'll work for these few days..." Kenny replied as he watched Ruben twisting the doorknob open.
THANK GAWD. The room was normal. Floor's well swept, furnitures are pretty basis, a clean bathroom well equipped with cheap soap, and shower's working great. 2 single beds and 2 pillows and a blanket on them. Some couch by the side and a small cable TV in front of the bed. It was just nice. Ruben and Kenny swore the felt like their eyes are going all teary.
"FCK!" someone who sounded like Surly yelped with a loud laughing, probably Bob with that signature wheezy laugh of his came next. Kenny and Ruben both walked up to see what's going on.
"Ruben! You wouldn't fcking believe what happened!" Surly said looking all white. "I'm not gonna fcking sleep in here tonight!" He said as he pulled his luggage from the doorway. Bob came out laughing hard.
"What happen?" Ruben asked calmly then looked in their rooms, then Pat and Frank came out of theirs looking like their all settled in for the night and both asking the same thing Ruben said.
"Nahhh, it's just Sturly. He was openin' the door then a huge rat came running out from our room! You should've seen the look on his face!" Bob was trying so hard not to laugh while Sturly was motioning how big the rat was.
"I am not gonna sleep in there. Man, I'm out." Sturly said hands in the air looking all dramatic.
"Can I crash in your room Ruben?" Sturly asked looking at him.
"Nahh man, we can't have Bob sleeping all by himself." Ruben said and Pat agrees.
"And I paid for 3 rooms. Don't make me regret that." Pat stated in a stern voice. Sturly was thinking for a moment...then he asked.
"Rats' don't climb beds right?" everyone nods.
"That's it man. My feet are never gonna touch that floor. Scare of rat biting me. Damn scary man!" Sturly said all dramatic then starts fussing about not touching the floor and stuffs. Kenny decided to leave the scene and unpacked his stuffs before he gets too tired.

It was night time, and TV was the only thing that kept the room entertaining. Ruben was up at room 7 helping with the rat hunting and they sure are making a lot of noises which kinda makes Kenny wondered if any of the motel residents minded the noise. A while ago, Kenny found a piece of paper clipped on the notice board outside the manager's room while he was adventuring the grounds of the motel, listing down all the surviving people living in the motel.
Room 1 – Mr Victor (MANAGER)
Room 2 – Fraco D
Room 3 – Felicia I (CLEANER)
Room 4 – Rowena E
Room 5 – Vacant
Room 6 – Vacant
Room 7 – Vacant
Room 8 – Maintaining
Room 9 – Maintaining
Room 10 – Turner S
Though most of them seemed unimportant, but at least Kenny knew there were still residents in the motel, although he never seen any of them the whole day. But who is he to judge anyways. All he's here is to survived the night and get some rest so as thank gawd that he doesn't have anything in his chaotic over packed schedule for the moment.
Since he was alone, he got himself thinking. He's in South Park; all his friends are probably here too, except probably the over-achievers. And it's really been a long time since he last died till he sometimes forgot about his curse.
"Wonder how's that red guy's doing..." Kenny silently asked, not that he had any pity for him anyways. He inhaled his cigarette and set it down in the ashtray on the little round table beside him. Kenny wished he could have a long thinking like this all the time, but a job's a job. He's a famous musician now.
"Wonder what I would be if I didn't turn this direction..." Kenny thought again while looking at the plain cream wall of the room. All that thinking led him to say those simple words that were buried deep in his head untouched. Mom, Dad & Family.

"Looks like it's gonna be only me in this room tonight," Kenny said as he looked at the phone text that Ruben sent saying that he's sleeping over at room 7 for the night. Kenny made his bed and adjusted a little to be comfy enough to sleep for the day.
"I should see my family," Kenny said as he shifted over to check his phone for the night. It's been years he's seen them. You could say, he ran away from home; but it wasn't his fault that he was fcked up with his broken childhood and wanted to run away too soon. And during his days away from them, he sealed up all the memories of his South Park days behind him so he wouldn't missed it so much. Even texts, calls and emails are left opened without any reply.
"You're just gonna act like you're dead now huh," was what the words of his last meeting with his acquaintance who happens to have a really long history with him said at the outskirts of the Hell's Gate. Kenny didn't answer and walked to the darkness.
Kenny closed his eyeslids, "tomorrow...tomorrow I want to see them; them all...even—, "
