Chapter 2: The Forest of Death
Anko spoke to the crowd of Genin while holding her clip board, some of the Genin questioning her hair in silence, before quickly nodding when she asked them if they're paying attention. Before beginning the lecture on the Heaven and Earth scrolls and giving one or the other to each team before telling the teams their starting locations, each corresponding with the teams assigned number.
Naruto, Sakura,and Sasuke all entered the forest on their guard, Naruto moving in front, Sasuke in the back and Sakura in the middle, the events going the same up to the second battle with Orochimaru.
Orochimaru would be charging towards Sasuke with his snake, a burst of chakra being sensed by even the non-sensory types in the area, Naruto appearing in front of the snake, gripping its nose in Kurama's yellow chakra cloak, Sasuke's eyes wide at the display of strength. Orochimaru himself surprised as Naruto spun, tossing the snake into the air, kicking it in the nose, sending it flying into a tree before pumping chakra into his feet and launching himself at Orochimaru "You are fucking dead Orochimaru!" he roared out before spinning in the air and delivering a heel kick to Orochimaru's gut, sending him flying into the ground,though before Orochimaru would he sent himself flying towards Sasuke, his mouth open, Naruto winded from the use of Kurama's chakra, sending himself to intercept Orochimaru, though before he could, Orochimaru bit Sasuke's neck, a curse mark of three tomoes appearing on his neck, Sasuke keeling over and collapsing in pain, writhing on the ground as Orochimaru disappeared in a puff of smoke, Naruto's fist appearing right as he did so. After a moment Naruto's chakra cloak would disperse, Naruto falling to a knee to catch his breath, sighing and beating himself up mentally for failing to protect Sasuke from Orochimaru once again before standing and picking him up before speaking to Sakura
"We need to go now, Sakura."
Before speaking Sakura would nod "Yeah...we need to get Sasuke-Kun somewhere safer."
Team 7 would move with their wounded teammate to the original place of their battle with the sound ninja, Naruto laying down to get some rest while Sakura kept watch on the area. After several hours, Naruto would awaken, finding Sakura about to pick up a squirrel, before realizing what was about to happen, though a kunai sent the squirrel running off before it exploded, the Kunai thrown from Sakura, herself quickly standing up and looking around quickly to find three sound ninja had surrounded the area a malevolent chakra coming from them. As the three slowly approached, another figure joined Sakura's side, looking over, Sakura saw it was Naruto in the golden chakra cloak once again, Naruto would look over to Sakura before smiling and looking back to the three sound nin and speaking
"Are you sure you three want to do this?"
Dosu would reply "Hmph, of course, do you think you can stop us?"
"No...I know I can." Naruto responded."
"LETS SEE YOU DO IT THEN!" The three yelled, before beginning their attack on Naruto, though they soon found that it was practically impossible to hit Naruto, only landing a few hits for every ten or so attacks.
Naruto would sight when he looked at them before blasting himself towards Dosu, kicking the bandaged man into the air before launching himself up as well, kicking the man in the head, sending him into the ground, knocking him out instantly as well as nearly killing him, the other two members of the trio picked up their leader, quickly carrying him away before rejoining the fight against Naruto.
"Have you not learned your lesson yet? Fine." Naruto would say before appearing in front of Kin, punching her in the gut, sending her flying into a tree before looking to Zaku and smiling before speaking.
"I'll let you take your friends and leave if you give me your scroll, okay?"
Zaku would nod slowly before throwing the scroll to Naruto, going to collect his comrades and leave before Naruto could change his mind.
Naruto would walk to Sakura, smiling softly, walking over to a just waking up Sasuke, though he never had the chance to hear about the curse mark he could feel it, Naruto walking over to him before speaking.
"Hey, we gotta go man, so get up and get ready for the rest of the trip to the tower, we have ourselves both scrolls."
"Yeah, sure, dobe, I'm already ready."
A/N: Well, that wraps up the second chapter of my first story. Again, all of the events happen as the normally would up until Naruto's fight with Neji, which I will be writing on in the third chapter, and once again, I do very much like constructive critique.
