2. A Death

Several Years later

I came into the parlor of the house in time to see Claudia kill my love of several years. My father came into the room and I stormed passed him and went to my room.

I slammed the door to my room, "Marie, open the door!" my father yelled. I ignored him and I sat by my mirror. I looked at the diamond necklace Lestat gave me and heard my door open.

I threw a knife at whoever it was and I heard it miss and hit the door, "Marie?" my dad asked. "Leave me alone!" I snapped. "Not unit you explain to me why you are upset." he said. "Go take care of Claudia and leave me." I said.

"Maria Katherin Pointe du Lac, you better tell me what is going on this instant!" my dad snapped. I turned, "I LOVED HIM!" I yelled. My father left to let me be and I fell asleep on my desk.

A few hours later I was woken up and I saw a filthy Lestat that was alive, but was partially dead. "I will always love you." Lestat said and put a ring on my finger. He went to my door, "Pack up and go to Paris." he said. "No, not without you." I said. "Go Marie! I know what's going to happen to me and I don't need you to get hurt." he said. I went by him and hugged him, "Go my love. I will always be with you." he said letting me go. He left and I quickly packed up and boarded the next boat without anyone.

A.N.: What's going on in Maria's head? Will Lestat come back?
