Hello everyone, tell me what you think about this sorry so review please,
I do not own any of the characters or story lines of The flash TV series, DC owns all that stuff
(enter any more disclaimer needed here, so basically I'm not a owner just a fan)
(I have just watched season 1 episode 13 so this is based of no comic book knowledge and no further point in the TV series)
S.T.A.R labs in between episodes 10 and 11.
"What on earth were you doing telling Eddie your identity like that?!" Joe said in his raised but still calm voice "hmm? I think you should keep your trap shut." Dr. Wells was in the corner then moving forward, he said "I wouldn't have chosen Joe's exact words but I agree. " He continued his rant at Barry saying "You do not kill people but sometimes they die, correct? Your friends can die too, if you keep telling people The Flash's identity the number of people for the rogues to torture increases. More people to squeal out your identity, Joe will be beaten, iris raped, Eddie cut and stabbed to get the info out, is that what you want?" Dr. Wells stops with immediate regret and shock on his face to see Barry with head down, tears streaming down his face. Barry mumbles " I don't want any of that to happen, and if everyone keeps there promise it won't."
Cisco walks in with Caitlin in tow completely oblivious to the situation. "There is a building on fire at 36 park street, office building with four peo..." Cisco stopped interrupting the conversation realising that Barry was crying. Caitlin whispered to Cisco " lets leave them be" and as quick as they came in they left. "Dr. Wells you said that I don't want to kill people, so that means I must go help them." And with a bolt of red he left.
The next day.
Barry was in his apartment thinking about his what Dr. Wells said. Then all of a sudden his mobile rang, it was Eddie, what could he want? But he could guess though. "Hey Eddie, What up?" Barry said
"Hey Barry, I wonder if we could grab a coffee sometime." There was a long awkward pause. "Not like that, oh dear God, I meant that we needed to chat because you have a lot of explaining to do." Eddie said obviously embarrassed
"Jitter's?" Barry asked
"No Iris is there, she would find it suspicious if we had a coffee together and get ideas and she can't know about... You." Eddie replied "how about the coffee shop around from the police station, hot beans."
"Sure, see you there, bye" the call ended and Barry felt butterfly's but not because of The Flash but because of other things, feelings for Eddie!
Barry was already there wearing his black jeans, blue vertically and horizontally thin stripes on a white buttoned shirt but the top button was undone and his browny red vest (wearing it as usual), when Eddie walked in wearing a shiny navy blue suit and tie with a pale blue suit shirt,(as usual as well), he looked around a bit, searching for Barry, finally seeing him and giving the thawne smirk and sitting down next to him in the 'trying to be modern but not really working with the building vibrant green sofa' (author note: you know there is that one coffee shop on the high street that tries to be with the newest fashion trends but it doesn't work because of the coffee table or floor/walls/ceiling, imagine that coffee shop as the one I'm talking about. Rant over.) After coffees were ordered and half drank Eddie began to talk. "The Flash huh?"
Barry said "I don't know why I told you but I did and I don't regret it."
Eddie continued to say " how did it happen?" Barry replied with " the particle accelerator explosion just before my coma struck me with lightening and genetically mutated my DNA and BAHM." said really quite loudly attracting the attention of the entire shop, eerie silence followed. When things turned back to normal Barry finished "And that is all I know really." He just stared at Eddie for a bit while he came up with the next question. He is then caught starring at him and his eyes zip away quickly staring at nothing on the coffee table. Eddie smirks, "so a bit off topic,"Eddie says "how long have you loved iris?" But before Barry could interject "I've seen the way you look at her, it obvious!" But the thing is he didn't love her... He envied her...for being with Eddie. Barry sipped his coffee then found the right words and courage to say "never, its not love... but envy."
A couple seconds passed when Eddie suddenly realised that Barry liked him. Eddie gulped down the rest of his coffee then put the cup on the coffee table. He then looked deep into Barry's eyes, softly grabbing his chin pulling it closer. Eddie went in, slowly closer and closer but before contact pulling back hesitantly then plummeting forward into the tender lips of Barry Allen. For a few seconds they were interlocked at the lips, eyes closed, just enjoying the feeling of each others warm lips. Eddie pulled back smiling " I like you too" he said "and thanks for the coffee."
He quickly stood up straightening out his suit so that he looks more presentable. Turning on the spot giving Barry one last smirk and leaving in a casual manor before Barry could realize he had to pay for the coffee.
Barry was naturally shocked, his best friend's boyfriend was gay! And wanted him! He only thought after picking up the tab how he would break this to Iris!
