The two stopped at Hyrule Field while they saw Epona and the Fairy Ocarina that Saria gave Link. Link picked up the Ocarina to keep as a memento and started riding Epona. On Epona's Face there was a letter, when the Hero of Time picked it it said:

'Hello, adventurer...
