Chapter One: King of France
Earth, France 1558
"Who are you?" The angry voice of Catherine De' Medici demanded of him leading Danny to open his eyes. It had certainly taken them time to get the queen here. He had been waiting for an hour since a few of the castle's servants had seen him sitting in Henry's throne.
"Hello. How are you?" Danny asked politely as he took a glance at the people standing behind her. Mary Stuart queen of scots and her ladies in waiting. Lola, Kenna, and Greer.
"Who are you?" Catherine demanded again.
Clearly the woman had no intention of being polite and Danny just found that really sad. He tried to be polite and kind to people and when his offers were met with rejection it could really sour his mood.
"I am Danny. I have come to capture your castle and become your king." Danny said without a care. He had bigger plans than being just the king of France but for now it would be the easiest explanation for them to accept.
"You must be mad to think that you can do this." Catherine said.
"Not really. My men have captured the castle and I have the king, the prince, and even the bastard." Danny said shocking them all.
"What have you done with my son?" Catherine demanded of him. Danny was not surprised to hear that she would ask for her son first given her relationship with the king.
"Watch." Danny said and tapped a button on the armband on the black gauntlet that he was wearing and the sphere that was floating above him became visible and projected an image for the ladies to see.
"I demand to be released." King Henry shouted from his cage. His sons were still asleep next to him. The man was still dressed in his night clothes given that was the time that he was abducted from the castle. Danny had not expected the man to be up yet.
"How is this possible?" Lola asked as she stared at the image and he could see the other women were just as shocked.
"None of you need to worry about that right now. Just know that I have the royal family hostage elsewhere." Danny said.
"What do you plan on doing with us?" Mary asked walking next to Catherine and trying to stare him down. He could see the hint of fear in her eyes showing that she knew that she was beyond her depth but still determined to know what would happen to her, her husband, and his family.
"Well nothing too bad. I just want you to acknowledge me as king." Danny said to them. Most planets he had conquered had found themselves grateful to be under his control. It was definitely better than serving under the other Goa'uld. Nirrti still thought he was too kind when he dealt with the slaves and Jaffa but he liked it his way. He would admit that most of the belief stemmed from the fact that he could crush them all if it ever the situation arose.
"That is just too much." Catherine said to him.
"Just give in and I promise not to hurt any member of you and neither will any of my soldiers." Danny said to them. The Jaffa were just one call away. Both the ones in the forest hunting down pagans and the others watching from the ship above the castle high in the sky.
"Can we talk to them?" Mary asked him.
"I will think on it. Just know for now that I have them." Danny said.
"This is a lot to take in may we have some time to ourselves. My king." Lola said adding the title at the end to tempt him. Danny could see what she was doing but he would still let her. It was not like they could leave the castle. There were cameras all over the castle feeding information back to Ha'Taks in space. He might not like the Egyptian design but he would admit that the ships were useful.
"Very well." Danny said waving his hand and clearly dismissing them.
"Servant." Danny called out to one of the maids that was in the throne room staring at the image of the king. She turned and stared at him fearfully.
"Ye-e-e-s-s." She stuttered out clearly wondering what he wanted of her.
"Get Narcisse and bring him here." Danny commanded of her and she picked up her skirts and ran as fast as she could to get away from him. If he was not such a nice person he might have been offended.
Now that he was just waiting he took a look at the throne room. This country of France would be the starting point of his invasion. The other continents would soon follow. The show had made Earth home to many useful technologies that would increase his army's power.
Earth and all of the Alteran technology still on it would be his. The Stargates would have to be moved though. The one in Egypt could remain on the planet but it would be better to move the one in Antarctica to another planet. It was not like the two could work independent of each other. Except for times of error when the stargate for Earth was dialed in the show It only activated the one in the Stargate Command base that was brought by Ra.
"You wanted to see me." Narcisse said as he entered the throne room.
"Yes I did." Danny said with a smile.
"May I ask the reason?" Narcisse asked him.
"I think that you will be very useful for my plans and I wanted to talk to you." Danny said. According to his memories back when Vlad watched the show Narcisse was a favorite of his and so he was fond of the man as well. Giving him power was a fine compensation for what he would take from him later on.
"Really?" Narcisse said to him with an interested look in his eye.
"I have been watching for a while and you seem like a smart and useful person." Danny said.
"Well I would be glad to be of service." Narcisse said to him.
"I am glad to hear it." Danny said.
"If that is all my king?" Narcisse asked.
"Yes you may leave.I have things I need to deal with right now." Danny said and let the man leave. The moment he was gone Danny snapped his fingers and opened a green portal. It was through his study of the stargate and the information provided by Nirrti that his ability with portals had increased. Now he could travel anywhere he wanted as long as he knew where he was going.

Danny walked through the glowing green portal and walked through the ship until he reached the bridge. In the beginning the corridors had confused him so much that he had ordered the Jaffa to make a map for him. It took a few days to get the entire thing memorized to the point where he no longer needed it to move about the ship.
"Jaffa Kree!" Danny shouted as he approached the bridge room. The six Jaffa stationed there turned to face him and stood at attention.
"My King." The Jaffa Kel'tar answered him first. He was in charge of the ship. Nirrti's symbol was issued on his head and on his armor. Unlike regular Jaffa who wore light clothes that made it easy to move his Jaffa wore armor similar to clone war ear clone troopers. The armor was was flexible enough for them to move in yet his version was a lot more durable. The armor could resist multiple blast from staff weapons and zaps from Zat'Nik'Tels.
"Congratulations my king." Kel'Tar said giving him a salute by holding his hand to his chest. It was easier for them to do that while on a ship than it was for them to bow down to him. They still did that too just not while on a ship.
"Thank you. This is only the beginning though." Danny said.
"You are blessed by the goddess. There is no one here that could stand in your way." Kel'tar said.
"That is true." Danny said to the Jaffa in the room.
He was in agreement with Nirrti that he would let her remain a divine entity to the planets under their control while she openly proclaimed that she chose him to be their king. It would give him the benefit of not having to deal with the Goa'uld more than necessary and it would give Nirrti the time to work on her experiments.
"Jaffa release the B.I.R.D.S." Danny commanded the Jaffa who was standing at a console at the side awaiting orders.
"Yes my king." The Jaffa responded before sitting down and pressing buttons. A few seconds later the silver avians flew from the ship and were to travel around the world.
B.I.R.D.S. were a backcronym. A short way of saying Bionic Incredible Recording Device System. A robotic spying device meant for blending in to populations so that he could keep track of desired people or spy on targets that he would want to acquire later.
"My King we have received a message from the Phantom." Another Jaffa said. He had his full attention now. The Phantom was one of his Ha'tak vessels. He might not have changed the designs of the ship but he did have the rights to name them as he wished. The Phantom was important because it was observing a planet that he was very interested in conquering.
Unlike Earth it was not because of technological importance but more because of a whim.
That planet was his next target after he finished with Earth.
"How are the Jaffa on the planet doing?" Danny asked.
"The Tau'ri are offering little to no resistance. There weapons are doing little damage to the Jaffa." Kel'tar said.
"Wonderful." Danny said. It was to be expected after all but he did like hearing good news.
"Release the death gliders and start with Rome." Danny said. He wondered how the pope would deal with this.

"What is the meaning of this?" Mary asked as he arrived in her room. He could see that she was tense especially with how late it was. There were probably warning signs going off in her head.
"Do not worry I just came to talk." Danny said as he pulled out a chair and sat down with the back of the chair facing his chest.
"About what?" Mary asked him.
"I want you to give Scotland to me." Danny said and Mary stood and stared at him but he could tell by the clenching of her fists she might have wanted to hit him or throw something at him but she knew better than to try that.
"Why ask? It is not like I have a choice." Mary said to him.
"I want us to be able to get along Mary." Danny said.
"Kidnapping my husband does not get us off to a good start." Mary said.
"I didn't kill him so that must give me a few points." Danny said.
"You would gain more if you would release him back to me." Mary said.
"That I cannot do and I am sorry." Danny said to her.
"Why not?" Mary asked him.
"I have my reasons." Danny said trying to be vague on purpose.
"Then we are at a standstill." Mary said.
"How about I give you something else." Danny said to her.
"What else could I possibly want?" Mary asked.
"How about Elizabeth?" Danny asked and watched as she froze. She was clearly going over her options. He knew she would. She had only married Francis in the first place to be able to protect her land, claim, and head from Elizabeth and the people of England.
"You can get her?" Mary asked.
"Very easily." Danny said.
Danny would easily be able to capture the current queen of England but his goal was not to kill her. He had plans for both queens and his plans were more important than their silly fight.
He was the king and his opinion was the only one that mattered.
This planet would be his soon enough.
