A/N: Thank you very much for your review and adding my story to your favorites! I know I said that I was going to upload a chapter per week, but I decided to summit short ones per day this week that I don't have a lot of things going on. Please tell me my mistakes and send me your ideas/comments

Beckett hated paperwork. It was boring, mechanic and definitely not the reason why she became a cop. But it was pretty much everything she had been doing since her belly started getting noticeable. She couldn't (and wouldn't) go to collar criminals out of the precinct in case anything went wrong. She felt it was kind of dangerous, and taking into account her background she had learned that everything that could go wrong would go wrong. She wasn't allowed to go into interrogations anymore either. So she had to watch through that false mirror how her husband was in there without her. Esposito or Ryan would substitute her inside and outside the precinct, so almost everything that was left for her was paperwork.

"I think that I may die of boredom" she moaned rubbing her face in frustration.

"Hey, you were the one who didn't want to take the rest of the pregnancy off" Castle, sitting on his chair beside her, had been all day putting together paperclips into a chain. Kate thought he might be near the world record.

"Shut up, Castle. You know what I mean. I cannot be sitting here all day long. I need to do something. Aren't you bored?"

"I've gotten used to it. And I'm still working on my book, so it's not like I'm not doing anything"

"I know is just four more months, but it seems forever. Forever, really. I really don't want the guys to close any other case just for avoiding more paperwork."

Castle gave her a sympathetic smile and reach out for her hand.

"Just four more months, Beckett. Not that long at all. More than half way there."

"I know. I want our baby to be born."

She meant it in so many ways. No more big, fat belly. No more tiredness. No more swollen ankles. No. More. Paperwork. But she was also looking forward to what was going to come next. Her baby wrapping her finger with his little hand. Singing to him as her mom used to do with her. Soft talk until he fell asleep in her arms. Even diapers. Oh, god. She had to be really bad if she was looking forward to diapers.

Castle stood up and kissed her forehead softly.

"Me too. Now. Finish that paperwork so that we could go home early. Meanwhile, I'll get us some coffee."

"Decaf" She murmured when he was gone.

Yeah. She missed real coffee too.
