Half-Birthdays

"Happy half-birthday, Natsumeeee!"

"What on earth?"

"I said, happy half-birthday. Shouldn't you be thanking me for at least remembering?"

"No. Why should I be?"

"Because, like I said, it is your HALF. BIRTHDAY. It's May 27th."

"I don't even like celebrating my birthday. Why should I even celebrate my half-birthday, then?"

"Because I say so."

"No, Melon."

"E-eeeeehhhh?! YOU PERVERT!"

That seemed to shut her up.

And so there was a pause.

"Natsume?" She called again.

There was a completely irritated reply grunt from the boy. "What now?"

"Happy 33rd half-birthday."

Another pause.

"Mikan?"

"Yes?"

"Shut up."

I enjoy writing these stuff. They're so short and can entertain me for ten minutes before getting over it. Lol. So, like it?
