It seemed like he had only just closed his eyes when dulled amethyst orbs shook tiredly, fighting too open. Why was I so tired? Why not just go back to sleep? I have no work so there's no reason to wake up. Slowly pale lid became to close only to burst open in bewilderment as memories suddenly came rushed back.

Yugi snapped his head to the side, and sure enough there was the stranger from last night. So many question began racing through the teens mind. Who was he? What happen? Why was he bleeding and from what? What was chasing him? And even more question arose when Yugi remembered the dream that woke him the night before. A dream of…him? Chasing this man?

Yugi's eyes took in his 'guest' now that he could be seen clearly in the light and gasped. The man was like a clone of him. Or could be considered his twin brother. He was definitely older if his body figure and hight had anything to say. Or the depth of his muscular build, the older, narrowing sculpture of his facial. The clear tone of his braw chest and solid arms and legs. Or even the girth of his enormous… "Appetite!" the teen squeaked before hurrying out of the living room and into the kitchen.

"I'm sure I'll be starving when he wakes." A bright red shadowed the teens face as he convinced himself and set to make breakfast. As he allowed the bacon to simmer and pancakes to rise to hurried off to throw the man's pants into the washer. It took about twenty minutes for breakfast to finishes as well as the washer to be done. Hanging the pants up to dry in the sun light Yugi gathered the plates of food and brought them into the living room. Placing them down on the table to slowly eased his way towards his guest.

'Come on Yugi, you can do the,' the teen sighed. Placing his hand delicately on the other's shoulder he proceeded to shake him away. In a man flash of fabric and limbs followed by a painful greeting with the floor Yugi groaned. Looking up he was unable to stop from flinching. Harsh, accusative eyes of raging fire burned wholes into Yugi's own eyes sockets. A sneer know adorned the man's once peaceful lips, pointed nose now curled up in a snarling fashion. And if Yugi was to be honest he swore he saw small fangs gleaming behind the man's lips causing a peek-a-boo effect with him.

Red eyes narrowed into slits as the man visible growled, now actually bearing said fangs to Yugi's throat. The teen froze, horrified that this man was not human but that he was about too bite into his neck.

"P-please…? Yugi whimpered, eyes closed in fright.

There was no response only animalistic growling and snarling and Yugi could feel the man's hot breath burning against his throat. Small tears began to push to the surface, the teen breathing became irregular. 'This is it! I'm sorry I could't finished what you started Grampa.'

"Give me just one good reason I should allow you to live human?" came the deep, harsh baritone growl of the man atop of the teen.

Without thinking, "C-cause I s-saved your l-life…" Yugi stammered.

It was silent for what felt like eternity when the man spoke again. "And that give you reason too believe I should be grateful?"

Strangle enough Yugi shook his head. The man didn't seem to care if he was helped or not and Yugi wasn't going to antagonize him further.

"Then I see no reason to ride you from my presences."

Something clicked in Yugi's head as his eyes suddenly opened, firming as he turned and glared up at the man. "Your presences? You broke into my house, fall unconscious on my livening room floor leaking blood everywhere and you have the nerve to say you want my out if your presences? Not even a slight thanks to me for taking the time to clean and dress you wounds? Or even allow you to stay here when I could have easily called the cops? Or how about the fact I even bothered to to care for you, a strangers wellbeing enough to stay down here to make sure to were alright through out the night? No! All you care to give a care about is me seemingly bothering you when all I've actually was help you to stay alive! Even just a little bit of common courtesy would be nice!"

Yugi panted after the little vent. The man atop of his had stopped growling, which was a good thing and was just glaring down at the teen. His eyes seemed to be searching for something. Way it lies? Deception? Truth? Whet ever it was he seemed to have found for a moment later Yugi was freed.

It was then the teen fully took in the mans body. Lean and sculpted to perfection. This warm tan skin radiated a slight fragrance Yugi could not identify, and for the briefest of moment Yugi wondered if this caramel-tanned man would taste as good as he looked before his instantly squished the though. Though that did little he hide to ever present blush.

The man's brow rise before looking down at himself, gasping in what Yugi thought sounded like fear as he realized he stood there in nothing but boxers.

As the man's eyes returned to the him Yugi saw a dark hatred and betrayal. As the man took a step towards him Yugi's mind then clicked the pieces together. Raising his hand in defense. "I didn't do anything too you." he vowed. "Your shirt was to ripped to save and I had to get to your wounds. Your legs also had wounds so I…um, had to remove your p-pant too." Yugi blushed towards the end, embarrassed. "I washed your pants," he pointed his finger towards the back of the house. "They're hanging to dry now."

Before the man would speak a retort a loud growl sounded in the room. For a moment Yugi wonder what the man was angry about now when he cause the man's nose twitching. Yugi gave a soft smiled. "Behind you." The man snapped his eyes to the teen only to see him smiling. "I figured you might be hungry so I made breakfast."

Turning the man's eyes fell upon the plates before turning to Yugi and room the corn nor if his eye glared.

The teen sighed, "If I wanted you dead I could have left you too blood out on my floor." Yugi stated as he watched the man eye the food as if it was poisonous, which he figure the man though it was.

Sighing in defeat Yugi walked over to the table and, grabbed both plates handed one to his guest before returning to his chair.

As he ate he could see from the corner of his eyes the man eyeing and sniffing the food cautiously. After about eight minutes what just watching the man examine the food Yugi was relieved then he finally chose to eat. There dinning with in silence and once the man finished he glared over to Yugi who was just finishing his last bite.

Yugi had a hunch to what the man wanted now and honestly Yugi wouldn't up before denying. Grabbing both plates and placing them in the sink for the time being he headed to the back where the man's leather pants were nearly dry. Figuring the man wouldn't might the slight dampness he grabbed them and returned to the living room. There the man was eyes everything around him as if something was about to pop out and attack. Sighing Yugi handing open the pants which were instantly snatched from his hands and returned to there place around the man's hips. Though now they has a few ripped and tears from what ever happened.

It was then Yugi remember. "Can I ask you something?" When the man just turned again eyed him he continued. "What happened to you to get you so injured?"

Instantly the man sneered, "Is doesn't concern you human." Turning the man began to leave.

"Hey, you can't leave now." As his slapped the man whipped around growling like a vicious animal.

"You dare order me?!"

"Y-your wounds s-still h-haven't healed…"

"I need to aid. Especially from a weak, pathetic, human like you." he spat. Turning he continued too leave, "Forget ever seeing me and tell no one or I will come back and kill you." And just as he opened Yugi's door he was gone.

Blinking the teen just stood there, staring out at his badly open door. 'What the hell…!?'

xXxXx

Shortly after the man left Yugi cleaned up and headed out himself. As she traveled on his mind constantly wondered to the animal-like man who's life he saved. The teen's cheeks puff out in anger. The man was down right rude, crud, insulting and above all ungrateful. More then once today since the men's departure Yugi wondered why he even bothered to save the arrogant prick. And once again his heart answered, saying no matter what he just couldn't leave anyone to suffer. Regardless to there side of the law or if there nice or not. Sometimes Yugi cursed his over kind heart. His Grampa would call him a marshmallow saying he had a heart as soft as a one. And every time Yugi would pout and declare it not true, but it was. And deep down Yugi knew this too.

{Kindness is not a curse my boy, but too much kindness could get you hurt. Even if it's the right think to do.}

Yugi softly chuckled. 'I finally know what you meant know Grampa.'

It's was about an hour later that the teen reattached his destination. The edge of the city.

Walking casually towards the treelike Yugi appeared to be going on nothing but a stroll. However his eyes has suddenly hardened and they shifted side to side scanning the surrounding area. The moment one of his feet passed the domestic civilization border that marked the forest's wilderness in the blink of an eye Yugi was gone.

-.-

Solomon Moto, my Grampa and last living family was a very kind old man. He raised me after I lost my parents as if I were is own son. And even though I knew otherwise I began seeing his as my father, since I couldn't remember my own.

Over the years my Grampa ran a small gaming store, which I often chose to help with. His day's seemed regular, his habits that of any elderly and his passion for games never faltered. However, even though I say all this, there was more I wasn't seeing. Much more.

It was around the time I went into junior high and the bullies really started to come out. I tried my best to avoid them and not give them any reason to attack me but they always just seemed drawn to me like some sort of magnet.

It sickens me to admit but, after a year of constant bullying I became so tired, so fed up. I just wanted it all to stop. Yet no one seemed to want to help and when I went to adults for help the beatings would only be worst when the bully or his friends came after me later on for revenge for 'ratting them out'. I had just was salvation. To be at peace, away from all the constant pain and suffering. I wanted to be free. But I felt trapped. Tapped in my body. Tapped from feeling safe. Blocked out from justice and caged away from any help. All my suffering had seemed to have taken my vocal cords. So in that I was also trapped from my voice. But even when I had all this no one seemed to care. So with great hoped of freedom… I remember I held the knife, tip poking into my chest as a ring droplet of blood trickled down. I remember closing my eyes and praying for my Grampa to forgive me. But it was a forgiveness I was never going too need.

I knew I was downstairs in the shop while I was on the third floor all the way up in my room. And yet so fast I didn't even hear my Grampa was up the stairs too the third floor, in my room and clutching my tightly to his chest. The blade I once had lay motionless where I once stood.

I could feel my Grampa crying, wailing into my hair. I felt so bad for making him feel sad. I hugged him back and cried into his chest. repeating 'I'm sorry', but after a while he just shook him head. Saying, in a way it wasn't all my fault. That he too was to blame for not see my pain or taking action to help. Just thunking I would get through and be all right later on.

It was after this that my Grampa revealed a secret too me. One I have been forever grateful and will always be indebted to him, even in his death.

You see my Grampa wasn't always a store owner. He use to be an archeologist and his favorite was Egypt. Least to say I too began to love the ancient cultures and just like my Grampa Egypt had won my heart. Why Egypt out of them all? I ask myself that same question to this day.

Anyways, what he revealed to me was that back during the time when the pyramids were still young and a brave a powerful Pharaoh reigned, but he was not human. Beside him were creatures just like them. Sometimes people referred to them as monsters. However these creatures could take on human form and held powerful magic. But just as there were creatures of good there were also ones of evil. And over time a war came and when it was over all the creatures had mysteriously vanish along with there Pharaoh.

Grampa believed that some sort of secret group was formed too hide and protect these creatures. Grampa also said that he believes we are direct decedents from the very Pharaoh who was one of these creatures. Of course I didn't believe him but he sure proved me wrong soon after.

I know what you're thinking. That my Grampa turned into some sort of animal. Heh heh…no. But he did demonstrate that we, meaning even I could too, be so much stronger, faster, keener then normal human begins. And so Grampa began to train me. Of course I asked if we'd ever become monster, but she had laughter and said that wasn't possible since our blood wasn't pure enough to sustain the powers our ancestries welded.

I remember Grampa once saying that only one with the blood of the ancient beasts, the very first ancients could reawaken those of others. But that they'd need an unbendable will, pure heart, untainted soul and the courage to give it all to save it all.

I don't know what he meant by that last line but I knew it wasn't me. And even its it was I wouldn't want too be. I've learned that those with power become corrupted. That absolute power corrupts absolutely, and I want anything of it. But that's to my Grampa I am still here today and I am able to depend and protect myself. You're probably wondering why I didn't use my skills on the man I saved when he attacked me, huh? Simple. I felt so evil in him. Sure he was darkened but darkness of evil and darkness of shadows are very different.

Now though I am here, training. For Grampa told me to always practice so my skills remained sharp for any situation. And I've never been more grateful.

-.-

The teen soared through then air, his arm outstretched just in time to grasp the branch. With a heavy push of his lower body he used his momentum to spin around the branch before letting go and sending himself soaring once more. Landing agains a thin trunk, one hand grasping at base of a branch. As he clung there, his feet and back pressed agains the tree and other hand clawing into the bark his eyes drifted to the sky. The sun was setting.

Breathing out a heavy sigh the boy scanned his surrounding, spotting his next target instantly he flung himself over. The thin tree swayed some from his force, adding to his speed.

Reaching the next tree the teen didn't reach of any branches this time but instead turned his body so his feet were aimed at the tree and once contact was made he sprang from that tree only to spring into another and another and another. He was like a ping-pong ball being whacked around.

As the edge of the forest came into view the teen gripped the branch of the last tree, spinning around it and as his body parallel to the ground to let go along his body to be sent flying. He pulled himself into a ball, spinning in mid air with moments before hitting the ground uncurled himself and hit the earth sticking the landing on his two feet.

Amethyst eyes glimmered in the fading sun light as the teen smiled brightly. His sweat covered body shimming like crystals as his chest puffed in and out rapider from exertion. "Guess it's time to head home," he sighed.

xXxXx

And hour and a half later Yugi stepped through the doorway of his house. Stretching his limbs, he rolled his arms before trying to massage to sore muscles.

He began heading for the kitchen. In doing so one had to pass the living room, and another was there.

In the kitchen Yugi set his pot to boil as he gathered what was needed for his Grampa's famous herbal soothing tea. It was when Yugi had gathered everything that his scenes went on alert. Choosing to act oblivious to this he continued with making his tea. Adding to two spoons of honey he mixed it up after pour the water and took a few calming sips. Sighing in delight from the warmth obit's heat and the effect of herbs taking root.

Only after finished half his cup did Yugi place it down to reenter his living room. Act ting out as if he was going to retrieve his book, which he left on the side table by his chair did he spot two silhouettes in the corner of the room. Continuing to play the right role Yugi gasped, stumbling back. "H-how there?"

Suddenly the lights flickered on and where the two intruders stood revealed a man and a woman. The man wore white dress-like pants down to his ankles, a leather tunic reinforced with bronze pieces over the pants, a white cotton dress shirt with a leather reinforced bronze pieced vest keeping it's front open. Soft looking gold and white slips for shoes, two gold bands around his wrist and a golden yellow tie tied around his neck. He was completely bold except for a large amount of black hair that came out from behind. It was tied in the center, giving the top half a nice puff while the rest streamed down all the way to the center of his back. Hieroglyphics of some sort tattooed the left side of his face as gold ankh earrings hung from his ears. His eyes and face gave nothing away.

The women had on the leather reinforced with bronze pieced tunic though it was cut on the side and the bottom with tilted. one side ending at her just below her knee the other ending just above the other knee. She too had gold and white slips for shoes. Her upper body had a leather reinforced with bronze pieced tank top with a slight v just shooing her color bone. A white sash wrapped her waist, tied in the front. She wore a gold and silver bracelet on both wrists but also gold arm bands adorned both her arms. Her blond hair was wavy and out down to the base of her back. Bright blue eyes sparkle in the light as she was smiling at Yugi. Her legs crossed gracefully.

For some reason Yugi couldn't help think they looked like a sort of mix between ancient Egyptian soldiers and modern day FBI agents. The smile's eyes seemed warm and caring but Yugi could see a shadow that coated over them ever so slightly.

"You are Yugi Moto, correct?"

Yugi's eyes enlarged at the woman's claim, now he was curious. Just who were these people.

"Do not fear young one," the man assured, though his slightly unemotional tone didn't really encourage Yugi. "We are only here to retrieve you."

'Retrieve me?' Yugi gawked. "W-what do you m-mean?" Now Yugi was really getting concerned. Acting time was over.

"Back to our head quarter," the woman informed kindly, though her smile slowly faded soon after. "We are order to use force if necessary." The man's hand's balled into first as the woman clutched at her lower tunic causing some of the bronze to clank.

Eyeing his opponents carefully Yugi dud used he could take out one of them, but two would be more difficult. And quite honestly Yugi hated violence. Seeing this he had no real choose in the matter. Sighing in defeat the teen surrendered. "Do you know why or who wants me?"

"Our Supreme Alpha requested you and no we do not know as too why she wants you," the man answered.

Yugi pondered this over. Well it seemed these people really didn't want to harm him as they answered his question with threats, minus that one. But it clearly look like they didn't want to cause him any harm. Breathing out through his nose Yugi nodded his head.

The woman rose to her feet standing at five seven and man was six two. "Excellent. Lets be off then."

"Okay. Just first let me get some things."

"Forget about your stuff. That'll all be taken care of later."

"Huh? What do you?"

"All I know it that the Supreme Alpha said just to bring you and that she'll handle the rest. Though I don't know why she'd be interested in a complete outsider."

Puffing his cheeks some to show his anger Yugi softly grumbled. "Who are you by the way?"

Turning to the boy both elders slightly bowed in greeting. "I am Cecelia,"

"And I am Odion."

"And we are agents of an organization called Ra's Light."
