Chapter 1: Trigger

It was dead into the night and the only sounds you could have heard was the predators hunting their prey, wandering the wild grounds. Only the whispering of the trees and the spirits could be heard . . . If you listened closely and knew how to look for their faint murmurs, which seemed like a buzzing in your ears whenever you enter an isolated location. It was said that if you tried hard enough, you could hear what the spirits were saying and that they told you of your future, your faith or whatever you desired. But you had to beware, the outcome and consequences of listening to the whispers of the wind.
