-"You know what?" I ask, and I don't expect a yes. She's like
that, Hikari.
ΒΈ-"No." she says, smiling, and I start talking. My day was
awful, I say, and I start explaining with much details everything that
happened, and she never looks bored. She's like that Hikari.
-"You know what?" I say again, and I wonder why she doesn't
just answer 'yes' and turn away, because everything I say seems the same to me,
and besides, it's nothing really important, but I know she never will. She's
too nice, too selfless for that. She's like that, Hikari.
I see it her eyes I'm starting to lose her, and I see the cat running
away to hide under Hikari's side of the bed, she's the safe, stable one,
everything I'm not. She stays while everyone runs away. She's like that,
Hikari.
-"And you know what?" I say again, aware of the fact I am getting
annoying, beyond caring. No, she says. No I don't. I love you, I say, and she
smiles and says "Me too." She's like that, Hikari.
