It was the first day on set. What an excitement.

Since she didn't know anyone yet, she asked Eren to keep her company. At the moment she was waiting patiently for him to arrive so they could both go to the set together.

Where is he? We're gonna be so late! And it's the first day, I don't want to look unpunctual! I have no choice but to wait I guess. She looked at her cellphone screen one more time. 8:25 am. They only had 35 minutes to go. She decided to call Eren again. He didn't answer. She would call one more time.

"Petra!" someone called from behind her. "I'm here! Sorry if I'm late." Eren said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"No problem let's go."

They rushed on the set at an unbelievable speed. Eren walked to Auruo immediately, saying good morning to him and asking what will he be doing. Auruo looked toward her and saluted her with a nod. She gave a smile.

Looking around a lot of people were working around the set, making preparations, placing cameras and all of that. Erd arrived at that moment with a speaker in his hand.

"Can I have your attention for a moment please?" Everyone's turned their attention at him, listening closely. "I'm Erd Ginn, director of this movie, as we all know the making will begin today. Everybody will be informed of their positions, a script will be handed to the actors. Auruo Bossard will supervise you. I expect a professional job from everyone. Thank you and let's get to work!" All of them cheered and claped their hands.

Eren passed a copy of the script to each one of the actors and Auruo informed which ones of them would be shooting today. Her name was among the firsts. Along with her were a girl, with short brownish hair and a tall boy.

"You'll get 30 minutes to read a plot of the movie and then will get to know each other better." Auruo says cheerfully. The boy next to her raised his hand.

"May I ask a question?"

"Shoot!"

"Won't we get to the shooting after reading the plot?"

"We'll get to that later, but first you have to get to know each other better so as to be more comfortable with each other on set."

"Okay got it."

After thirty minutes, Auruo returns but this time with Levi.

"Sooo did you read the plot?"

"Yes." They replied in union.

"Great. Levi here, which I'm sure all of you know, will join us today. So I say let's grap a bite and get to talking!" He walks them towards a small table, near one of the trailers and asks someone to bring some sandwiches. "Let's introduce each other first! I'll start. I'm Auruo Bossard, 29 years old, from Brooklyn, and I've been a producer for 5 years. A short time yes, but I've gained a lot of experience. Your turn!" He says to the boy next to him.

"I'm Jean Krischtein, 20, in my first year of college at the Arts Academy. This is my first role, I'm thrilled and I hope to do my best! Nice meeting y'all!" He says with a smile.

Next is the girl with brown hair, she seems more serious than Jean. "I'm Nifa, 25, from New Orleans. I'm actually here because I really really love you Levi, but also because being an actress is my dream!" The girl's eyes never leave Levi as she says everything.

It's her turn now. She fidgets with her hands as she opens her mouth to speak. This should be easy right? It's just a presentation of myself. "I'm Petra, also 25. I'm from New York. This isnt my first role but it's the most important one I guess. I hope I'll do good."

It's Levi's turn now. Everyone looks very curious now. Not because they don't know him, but because they're interested in how he will introduce himself. " I'm Levi as you already know. 28, from Detroit and a rapper. That's all." That was short. Petra thinks. Jean is the one to break the silence. He has some sort of questions it seems.

"Will you make a new album soon if you don't mind me askin'?" All eyes are turned on Levi, as they wait for an answer.

"Why are you asking?"

"Just wondering. Word got out you'll drop a new album this upcoming year."

"Yeah, it's in preparation."

"Awesome!" Petra says. She can't hold back the excitement, but as soon as she sees everybody's eyes on her including Levi's, her face becomes a pretty shade of red. "Uhh-hh I mean that is really great for-r you-u" she stumbles with her words. This is really akward. To her surprise he answers back. "Thanks." Luckily the sandwiches came so she didn't need to say anything else.

When they finished, Auruo told them them that they would practice some basic scenes.

"Okay the scene we're gonna do it's pretty easy. Petra, you as the leading lady,will be next to Jean, who will introduce you to B-Rabbit who is Levi's character. Got it?"

Before Petra could say anything, Nifa spoke up. "What about me? What will I be doing?"

"You are a supporting role. You'll stand next to Petra and Jean and Jean will introduce you as a friend. Okay now let's begin."

Petra, Jean and Nifa stand next to each other, making a few steps towards Levi. Auruo is watching them patiently.

"Hey yo Rabbit. Long time no see."

"Hey man, whatcha doin'?"

"Nothing, going around and stuff. Let me introduce you to my friends. This is Alex and this is Jane."

"Hi, I'm Jimmy." He says and shooks his hand to both girls.

"Okay that's enough. That was good but there's always room for improvement. We'll get tomorrow to the actual shooting. Learn your script."

"Yes sir!" They reply. Jean and Nifa wave a few goodbyes and leave. She's got to find Eren because she had promised him they'd go home together. When she turns around she sees Auruo long gone and she has no idea where he went off to. There's only Levi there. She thinks for a minute before deciding to ask him.

"L-levi do you happen to know where I can find Eren, Auruo's assistant?" Damn, she stuttered again.

"Don't know. What do you want him for anyways?" He has this annoyed look on his face but Petra thinks it makes him all the more handsome.

"He's actually my friend and we were supposed to go home together that's why."

"He's probably busy, but I can help you look for him anyways."

"Okay thanks." He doesn't know why he offered to accompany her, when he has to leave very soon to go the studio, but something about this girl at caught his eye and she looked so damn cute. Going out of his way for her wouldn't be so bad after all. They walked together in silence around the set looking for Eren.

"So where have you acted before?"

"I took part in a small tv series and two other small movies and there I heard about this one and wanted to try out my luck."

"Well you succeeded, you not only got a role but a leading role at that."

"Thanks. It's really an honor to be here. I'm actually a big fan of your music."

"Really?"

"Yeah! Who isn't anyways? Believe me you're the best in the game right now. Like noone but I repeat noone could beat you. You're literally undefeatable! Hahaha sorry I don't won't to annoy you."

"Fuck no. It's always great to meet dedicated fans like you."

"Thanksss. I really appreciate that. I don't wanna seem like a crazy fangirl you know?"

"You're certainly not. You seem very... nice I would say." She blushed again and doesn't know what to say. This compliment took her off guard. She can feel the tension building around them now. Thankfully he talks again. "Look, Eren's there apparently." They see Eren with one of the camera guys and walk to him. When Eren sees them, he waves his hand and turns his attention on them.

"Did you need anything?"

"I was just accompanying Petra actually. She wanted to talk to you."

"I was going to ask if you have any work left because I was heading home Eren."

"Sorry Pet but I still have a lot of things to do."

"No problem. See you around." She's about to say goodbye to Levi too, but he's following her. "I can drop you home if you want." He says.

"It's not a big deal really. I don't want to be a bother." She responds shyly.

"Of course not. I wouldn't be offering if i were busy." In fact he is, he's probably gonna arrive late at the studio but he's not about to tell her that.

"If you say so then... Thanks." She can feel butterflies in her stomach right now and she thinks maybe just maybe he is the reason why.

Author's note : B-Rabbit is Eminem's rapper name in the movie while Jimmy is his real name in the movie. Alex is B-Rabbit's love interes in 8 Mile.
