IMP CH 2
I just saw that a few people actually liked my story so I thought that I would try another chapter for ya also please note any and I mean any constructive criticism is appreciated because I really dislike my own writing now on to the story
As they arrived at diagon ally Imp saw the guy that bumped into him earlier except this time he had a few aurors with him. "Well this is just freakin fantastic" said imp stopping himself from cussing for Luna's sake, "Luna stay behind me, turn around, close your eyes, and cover your ears this could get very messy". Nodding Luna did as asked while imp sized each off them up, meanwhile Wulfric just noticed imp and pointed him out to the aurors. "Aurors arrest that man he threatened a high ranking official and tried to blackmail me". "Blackmail you? Ha you have absolutely nothing that I could possibly want" said imp knowing that saying that would piss him off even more. Wulfric turning beat red in anger turned to the aurors "well what are you idiots waiting for arrest him" but upon turning on them he paused, the aurors were paler than a vampire and had a faint scent of urine "what's the matter with you guys? He asked angrily "arrest him!" "S-s-sir w-w-what did you say his name was" his name was imp or something as preposterous now arrest him already!" "I-i-I'm s-s-sorry sir b-b-but trying to ar-re-rest him is suicide!" "ok let me get this straight" said Wulfric pointing at imp who was waving cheerily with a goofy grin on his face, and looked at the aurors "you are afraid of one person who looks like a plonker" he said turning back to face imp only to find him walking away while holding a little girls hand. After staring for a second he did something that he would later regret.
With imp and Luna
After the initial confrontation the idiot and the aurors got caught up in their own little argument, after a few moments of waiting imp was just about to leave when the red faced one whose name he couldn't for the life of him remember pointed at him to which he just smiled and waved then immediately after the guy turned his head he got Luna's attention grabbed her hand and started leading her away, they didn't even make it 3 steps before imp sensed a spell coming their way reacting quickly he shoved Luna behind him and deflected the spell with his arm before send something very nasty back. Upon hitting the idiotic one he started getting blisters all over his body, but after a few seconds they started popping releasing a boiling hot liquid that burned wherever it landed. There was screaming coming from more than just the affected but imp couldn't care he just picked Luna up and carried her away. Fortunately upon getting shoved behind imp she followed his previous orders and didn't have to endure that.
After a few minutes where imp got slightly lost somehow ending up in Beijing they finally arrived at the quibbler printing studio, which after getting inside they immediately went up to xenophilius lovegood's office. Upon hearing the knocking on his door Xeno snapped out "out do you want?" before his grumpy face looked up and twisted in concern Luna why are you here, where's your mother? After hearing that questions Luna's control on her emotion snapped to which she ran to her father and started crying. Confused he looked at imp for an explanation but upon seeing a sombre expression he assumed the worst, "she dead isn't she?" upon seeing and feeling the nods he broke down and hugged his daughter for all he was worth. It was around an hour later before imp thought it would be a good time to stop this pity party, "hey Xeno.," upon seeing that he had his attention he continued" I promised Luna some ice-cream to help cheer her up you want to come." After thinking for a little bit he could think of nothing better to do so he said "fine but your helping with her burial", "agreed" and so they left.
As they were going to Florean Fortescue's for ice-cream imp again somehow got them lost, while looking for a idea as to where they were they heard a meaty thud to which they saw something that made imp incredibly furious for in front of them a fat walrus of a man was beating a small child . After see such a sight imp marched up to the man who seeing him immediately started to spout an excuse but didn't even get a word off before getting a very hard punch that launched him off the child.
After a moment of silence the child uncurled and looked around for his uncle but after a while of not seeing any sign of him he breathing a sigh of relief before seeing a tall thin man who had shaggy black hair that shadowed his face and from what he could see while on the ground glowing orange eyes, taking all this in he immediately tried to scramble away but only managing to aggravate his wounds in the process which forced out a hiss in pain.
After making sure the endearingly termed fat sack of shit didn't come back he heard a hiss turning he saw the child trying to scramble away. Not having any of that he walked up to the kid waved his hand over the kids head and put him to sleep, flipping him on his back imp immediately started fixing him up and making sure that there was anything else wrong with him , but what he found pissed right the fuck off , to the point that there would be revenge to the point that one wishes they were dead then past it. Seeing that his life was way too fucked up to being good he then picked up the child and returned to the Lovegoods. When they saw the child both of them gasped in shock confused imp asked if he'd missed anything to which he took a good look at the kid and realized who he was, the kid was harry fricken potter the boy who lived, though he cut that that off with something with a lot more truth "the boy who lived through hell". Nodding as if making a decision he said "so who wants ice cream" the father and daughter lovegood looked at each other then just grinned and nodded "good then he's living with you guys" to which they just squawked at the sudden proclamation.
Cut out to a few minutes where imp successfully leads all 4 of them to the ice-cream parlour which half way through the walk harry wakes up and imp starts telling him everything that happened which includes everything needed to know about magic his fame and his situation and imp also takes Voldemort's soul from Harry's scar and leaving the memory officially knocking him out again. After a while at the parlour harry woke up confused at where he was he suddenly remembered causing him to cry, Luna seeing this gathered him up in a hug causing him to tense imp noticing that while watching the scene play out told harry that not all contact has to be negative though seeing the confuse he rephrased not all contact has to hurt. Harry in his abused mentality reproached him saying "but uncle Vernon said that anything bad happening is my fault." Ha! I could just as easily say that everything bad that happens around me is my fault." "Umm imp everything bad that happens around you is your fault," "not now Luna I'm making a point here, anyway that's not true because something's are out of everyone's control a good example would be accidental magic, which as I've said happens when wither very stressed or angry or scared, well you get my point it isn't your fault of it happening it's your magic which takes a pure force of will to control in its entirety, something only I've really got anything close to. So since we're all done our ice cream let's get everyone home, or in Harry's case to the Lovegoods so we can regain any energy that was lost." After hearing about going home harry was close to panicking until he heard where he was going where relief flooded him to the point where he passed out. After gathering everyone imp apparated everyone to the lovegoods and helped everyone to bed where when he heard everyone snoring he promptly crashed on the couch
Now for imp's abilities I'm thinking anything under the sun something like
Ryoga's lost wanderings though that can be directed he just chooses not to for the hell off it
Shapeshifting into anything from anything he sees to anything he dreams up scary as that thought may be
Can speak any language and understand any language prefers to pretend he can do one or the other though
Wandless magic though he has to use his imagination on what he actually wants if he isn't specific something like a slight sting can turn into what happened what Wulfric (though he meant to do that)
Can piss people of very easily not much of a power just knows how to push peoples buttons so heard that give him enough time and ammo and someone's head will explode
The taking of voldy's soul was because he was somehow put through a whole series of crap with the afterlife to be born allowing him to meddle with people's souls though he will rarely if ever do that unless he plans on doing something drastic
Now about the aurors pissing themselves you gotta remember he did kidnap high ranking officials so it is likely Amelia found the truth and informed her men so they knew who to look out for but her plan somewhat failed making them scared pissless instead of trying to arrest him if he was ever seen
About them finding harry so early I'm big on people finding Harry's home life early and taking him away from it raising him into an entirely different person than the original. For this I'm more thinking of making harry someone who just doesn't give a rat's ass on what anyone thinks of him, he'll cuss, he'll flirt, he won't be afraid to break rules heck he'll probably make it his goal to break them all and drive dumbledore up the wall and probably dunk Snape's head in an unfinished potion cauldron either a while after the first class or during
