Chapter 2
The Day Goes on As Usual
Chichi woke up early when she heard the birds chirping and feeling the rays of the sun touched her ivory flawless skin. She gently untangled herself from the excellently toned arm of her husband. When she is about to get up, Goku's eyes fluttered and then slowly woke he saw his lovely wife already awake; he gave his signature heart melting smile to his wife and greeted , "morning honey! You slept well last night? "Chichi smiled back and said. "Good morning to you too my Goku "and gave her husband a quick but sweet kiss on the lips. And then her face turned a bit serious and said." Goku! We need to go home. I need to prepare breakfast for you and Gohan plus I need to go shopping for a new set of cookware and sewing tools. I am going to make you and Gohan some new GIs."Goku cheerily answered," Uh okay! No need to worry about that we will be able to make it on time before Gohan wakes up. I learned a new technique when I was in planet Yardrat. It's called the instant transmission. We can quickly go back home and its still early. Why don't we take a dip in the river first?"
Before Chichi could say anything, Goku already dove into the clear water and called out to Chichi to join him. She hesitated at first but then decided to dive in. The couple enjoyed their morning swim. They playfully splashed water at each other. Then the playfulness turned into a passionate moment once again,between the husband and wife who missed each other so much.
Goku and Chichi arrived at exactly seven am at their house via instant transmission. Chichi quickly changed into a new house dress and started making breakfast. Goku went up to change his clothes and then went to Gohan's room. He saw his son getting ready for the morning, quickly ran to him to give him a good morning hug and greeted him. Hi dad! Were you able to rest well last night? Goku happily answered." Yes! Last night was great! How about you? Well you'd better be ready because I won't go easy on you when we train. Remember what the guy from the future said the fight with the androids is really dangerous so I am going to prepare you for that."Gohan enthusiastically retorted," Yes dad. I am ready. I can't wait to start our training!"
Father and son went down to the kitchen to join Chichi for breakfast. The trio enjoyed the breakfast entree of Blueberry breakfast muffins, Chicken Asparagus sandwich, Buttered toasts and Sweet ham with fresh pineapple juice and freshly brewed tea with honey.
When the Son family is done with breakfast, Chichi went on with her day. Doing her chores and prepped up to go to the supermarket at West city. Goku and Gohan flew over to Piccolo's to begin their rigorous training for the androids arrival.
Meanwhile at their training…
Piccolo, Gohan and Goku were intensely training. Piccolo and Goku were up in the air beating each other up as if they were back in the 23rd world martial arts tournament while Gohan watched in amazement but then doesn't want to feel left out, decided to join in. Now the three of them are giving their all without holding back. They are seriously preparing for their upcoming battle with the androids.
By this time, Goku, Piccolo and Gohan were able to dodge each other's attacks and all of them are enthusiastically squaring off. Gohan is so thrilled that he gets to train with his father and mentor. The three of them were so engrossed until; Piccolo caught Goku off guard and kicked him hard on the back. He plummeted fast and his head hit the ground hard. Alarmed to what happened, Piccolo and Gohan flew down quickly and landed where Goku crashed. Gohan was so worried seeing his father laying on the ground unconscious. And to add to the problem they don't have a senzu bean at the moment.
Piccolo is stunned. He couldn't believe that his kick would cause Goku to plunge down. Gohan knelt beside his father and tried to wake him up. "Daddy, (tapping his dad's shoulder hard.)Daddy please wake up. Tears began to well up in Gohan's eyes. He's afraid that Goku might not wake up. He just got his father back. He doesn't want to lose him.
Inside Goku's mind there is a wrestling going on. He felt his very first transformation into a Super Saiyan. He could feel the intense and pure rage he has towards the wicked tyrant Freiza in the very core of his being. Goku felt like he's been translated back to Namek. However he is stunned with what he saw. Infront of him isn't Freiza but a mirror image of him in his base form wearing a saiyan armor similar to Nappa's and has a tail. He is endowed with a white aura and he has an arrogant smirk on his face.
Goku gave his evil persona a death glare and yelled. "How did you come out?! " I already kept you imprisoned my whole life. You will and cannot take over my being Kakarotto. With that Kakarotto let out a sinister laugh and said. If you think you can keep me imprisoned for the rest of your life, you are sadly mistaken. Truth be told Mr. Goody too shoes, I only remained imprisoned to the recesses of your mind because I allowed you to! Kakarotto snarled and increased his energy. Goku replied with much righteous indignance while in super saiyan form. Well will see about that! Aaahhhghhh! Goku and Kakarotto charged at each other exchanging earth shaking blows. Goku prevailed at first, but Kakarotto won't yield. They shot each other with ki blasts. Goku shot him his famous kamehameha wave. Goku went over to Kakarotto who is lying on the ground face down. He thought the fight is over; whe Kakarotto pulled a sneak attack on him by firing a ki blast at a point blank range. And with that our sweet innocent yet powerful Goku got knocked out.
Gohan shook his father's shoulder harder."Daddy, Daddy please wake up"!(tears are falling down his cheeks profusely. And his voice a little bit louder this time arround.)
Piccolo kindly looked at his protege and he could only say, "I'm sorry Gohan I never meant for this to happen." Gohan looked up to his mentor and gently replied, " I know Piccolo, I don't blame you." Piccolo gently replied."Thank you Gohan. You are such a kind little brat and you've grown stronger. I'm proud of you."Gohan smiled and then said. "Thank you Mr. Piccolo. Uhm I think we should bring daddy home now. Piccolo nodded and then slung Goku on his shoulders and soared to the air followed by Gohan...
