Eric and Annie looked shocked at their daughter.
"Do you need money, cause we aren't going-"
"No, I need your help. I want to go to rehab. Kick this habit."
"What kind of habit is it?" Annie asked.
"Marajuana and alcohol. I could probably kick it on my own, but.."
"Mary, umm, well, I will help you. But only if you are serious." Annie said.
"Me too." Eric agreed.
"Yes. Dead serious." Mary said, a tear dripping down her face. "I saw Matt a few days ago and well, I wanted to, umm talk to him, but he just turned away. That's when I knew I had to do something. And then Frankie and Johnny are going to rehab to get Mercy back and oh." Mary was now in full fledged tears.
"Mary, it's okay, if you're serious. Come on inside. I'll call my friends at Proudlock Rehab. It's in town and they'll help you." Eric said, hugging his daughter.
"Okay. I am so sorry." Mary said, burying her face in their arms.
"Shh. Come inside." Eric said.
A few days later, Mary was settled into rehab. She was busily kicking her habit by beginning the process of detox. A few months more and she would be out.
After several weeks passed, Mary was allowed to go home. Now would be the real test, but she was determined to go back to her house and stay there. She was picked up by her mother and father, who welcomed her back home and into their lives. When she arrived home her siblings were there waiting.
