"Mother, how is this possible? Tenzin poked the boy, shocked to sense such power from the boy despite the current still living Avatar standing right beside him.
Katara, his beloved mother, frowned and allowed her water to soothe and heal the boy's damage. " My knowledge on spiritual matters is limited, Your father's was as well given how much was lost during the war. With what little we know, it is hard to guess. What I do know is that this boy is in fact a bearer of the Avatar Energy. Of course, something is lacking. Unlike Korra, he doesn't have the power of Raava to endure the rampant energy cost of so many chi pathways. He is dying, his powers draining his lifeforce." She frowned for a moment." Tenzin, flip him gently onto his back."With out hesitating, Tenzin moved to obey his mother. " Oh my... Korra, come here child."
The surprisingly quiet Korra moved over to the boy. " Yeah?" Korra followed Katara's gaze, as did Tenzin, gettinga gasp from all three. " That... how did he survive this? " Korra reached out, placing her palm pn a horribly burn scar datacenter on the boy's back. A glow exploded from them both, pushing both Katara and Tenzin away.
Wind ruffled them all up before fading to nothing. Then, from only the boy, a searing blue flame exploded into the air. Both collasped, requiring Tenzin to save his pupil.
" Mother..."
Katara shook her head. "I have no idea... well, that is not entirely true. I need to get Toph, perhaps she can help verify my thoughts on this.
"Mother, you cannot leave without telling me anything? If nothing else, you know how Korra will react."
Sighing, she rubbed her brow. " The boy's scar should block his chi pathways, instead healing them shows that power enters through it as of it is a chakra point. I saw only one person experience this, on the same part of the body."
Now Tenzin had to know. "Who?"
"Your father, after Azula killed him."
Drifting, tiny waves of wind and water... the echo of the sleeping world. "Mmm. Music..."
A smile crossed Enton's face, finally he was free from choking walls. He could taste the air, feel the sky above him endless in its majesty. He felt at total peace, even his birthmark didn't hurt!!!
It just seemed perfect.
"Hello? "
A great sigh pushed from Enton's mouth. 'Of course it had to be ruined.' Slowly sitting up, he opened his eyes to see a familar face. "Avatar Korra."
She was beautiful, muscular and her whole aura rang with wisdom and whimsy. Literally so, she looked like a sunset with a stark blueish light in her center. He could trace the path of her chi with his eyes, and that other nameless energy that rippled from her crown down to her feet.
She gave a kind smile. "Yeah... what's your name?"
"Enton"
"Well, it is nice to meet you Enton. So, mind telling me how you have some of my powers?"
He actually choked on his air, only finally realizing they were a blue floaty place. "How,What... I don't understand?"
Korra actually pouted. " Well, I was hoping this would be simple. Long story short, you started crying since your cell was too small and some how tapped into my power, blasting a hole in the wall. You were glowing and everything."
He looked at his feet. "I don't like being a thief, but I haven't had a family in years. It's what I know. "He shuddered. "My old master, a thief who taught me, used to stick me in a earthen cell if I messed up or disobeyed. I panicked in the cell, but that's all I remember."
She grabbed his hand, pulling him into a warm but horrifyingly uncomfortable and tight hug. He appreciated the gesture, but it was almost as bad as the cell. Thankfully it only lasted a few moments.
"I'm sorry, that you had to go through that. You can come with us to figure this out and you'll never be in a cell again."
He gave her a smile."I'd like that...but, first, where are we?"
Someone would have answered but they both woke up, back in their bodies with a gasp and a very stern bald guy staring at the accusingly.
Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.
Any guesses on his status is fun and worth hearing.
Love, your Ninja Overlord,
