Authors Note: Hey. Thank you for liking and following my stories. I got my first ever review yesterday and I was honestly so proud. Basically this chapter and all the ones after this are set before the prologue. The story goes up to the prologue and then after it for a couple of chapters. They may not be very long as I have specific events designated to each chapter and I just write them from there.
Thank you for reading my story and I hope you enjoy it.

Waking up is a pain. Waking up with a hangover is worse. So you can imagine that waking up with a hangover in an unfamiliar tent, in an unfamiliar bed naked and next to a mysterious stranger. Well you would kind of panic.
That's what I did. I sat, breathing rapidly in a bed that wasn't my own, with an arm around my waist pinning me to the bed. I wasn't willing to follow said arm to its owner, and instead I decided to look around and see if I can get a sense of where I am. One thing was for sure, it was a mess. To the left there was a make shift desk with a couple of guns and a few packets of rations upon it. Along the floor I could see my clothes mixed up along with the mystery guys.
Nervously I bit my lip and looked to the arm wrapped around my waist. My eyes followed it up to its owner... I froze. It took me a minute to realise exactly who I was looking at and then it clicked. Only one person in camp had that many freckles and dark hair with curls like that, well only one person who was male anyway.
Oh god. What have I done? No, I have not; I repeat have not slept with Bellamy Blake. No, it didn't happen. Denying the existence of what I hoped was a nasty dream, I carefully but swiftly removed Bellamy's arm placing it gently by his side. Grabbing my clothes, being as quiet as possible I put them on and walked towards the exit. Just as I was about to leave I paused and looked back, wishing that I could just crawl back into bed with Bellamy and sleep but I knew that I couldn't, I knew that I was just another notch on his bedpost, I knew that I was nothing important. So with that last thought I took a deep breath and left the tent, I couldn't help but feel that I was being watched, which caused the hair on my arms to stand on end. I ignored it and quietly walked across camp to my own tent.
As I entered the makeshift tent I fell onto my bed and tried to remember exactly what happened the night before. All I could remember was playing beer pong, well our version of it and then Finn came over. After declining his request for me to meet with the grounders I had grabbed the nearest, fullest bottle of moonshine and walked to the campfire, sitting beside it. From there everything was a blur and too foggy to understand clearly. Somehow from sitting by campfire I had ended up sleeping with Bellamy. All I could think was well done Clarke! I mean how could I ever face Bellamy again? I screamed in frustration into my pillow before settling down into an uneasy sleep.

Moving around the drop ship I sighed as I placed what little tools there were away and tidied up. Someone had fallen from a tree and broke their wrist, so as healer, it was my job to fix it. I was just about to put the red seaweed in its place when Bellamy walked in. He was followed by Raven and they both had large smiles plastered on their faces. Noticing their linked hands, I think I understood why.
"Hey Clarke," It was Raven who broke the growing silence "do you know where the others are? We need to tell you guys something"
Motioning to the top floor of the drop ship I commented "Monty and Jasper are up there trying to get contact with the Ark again" I shifted and noticed I was still holding the red seaweed and placed it down before I coughed nervously "I don't know where Octavia is... Or Finn for that matter, last time I saw them was last night"
"Oh well I'll leave the boys to it but I thought we might as well tell you now..." Raven smiled at Bellamy "Bellamy and I are together, we've liked each other for a while now and thought we might as well give it a shot" Raven looked at me and winked "At least you have Finn to yourself now"
In that moment I froze and watched them as my heart broke in two. I couldn't do this. I had to leave. Faking a smile is hard, but that's what I did as I congratulated them before turning toward the exit. I was about to leave however my path was blocked by a worried Finn carrying an unconscious Octavia.
"Clarke, help me. It's Octavia; s-she was stabbed... By a grounder"
