Batyah slept for a long time. She slept with a smile on Her face. Mary couldn't believe that she had a girl. She thought for sure she was going to have a son. She couldn't believe how much she loved this baby. She was the sweetest little girl who was ever born.

"Look at Her," Joseph whispered.

"I still can't believe that She's here," Mary said, "and that She's a girl. She is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. I already love her. She's less then an hour old and I feel so full in my heart."

Three days later they took Batyah to the temple. Her eyes were wide open. She seemed to love it. They sat in the women's section and listened to the sermon. Batyah didn't fall asleep. She didn't cry. She laughed a little bit. Then Mary and Joseph took the baby home. She needed to be fed and changed.

"Can you believe how good She was," Joseph asked.

"I thought She would cry," Mary replied, "My mother told me that I used to cry all the time."

"Well praise GOD that Batyah was born so good."

"Well when we have more children," Mary said, "We have to be very careful. I don't think it's good to play favorates."

"Of course," Joseph replied taking the baby from Her mother's arms, "She is the first of ours but we would never treat our other children like less then Her."

When Batyah turned three years old Mary found herself pregnant again. Batyah was very excited that She was going to be a big sister.

"Mommy," She asked, "when is the baby going to be born."
Mary smiled.

"He or she will come in the spring," Mary said.

"Can we name it Jonnah if it's a boy," Batyah asked.

"Jonah," Mary repeated, "I love that name."

"So do I," Joseph said, "What do you want to name the baby if it's a girl?"

"Ruth," Bathyah said, "I think it's pretty."
