In an alleyway of the newly barren places of New York City. Two homeless kids were sleeping in them. If yo couldn't tell, they were homeless because of the decimation.

The male teenager that was 13 was named Will. The little girl was named Bella. They lost both of their parents in the decimation.

You see, it was a Friday afternoon when it happened. They were at this carnival celebrating Will's academic achievement. They did a whole lot of fun stuff. Roller coaster, mirror maze, you name it.

Will was taking a pee when all of a sudden. He began to hear screaming from the outside. He quickly finished and he ran out the door to see what was happening. There was a crowd of people running. A few of them were turning into dust. He couldn't see his family through the crowd. He had to push, pulls away, and even punch a few to find his sister. Curled up in a ball with people avoiding her. He scooped her up and went to the exit.

When they got there, will asked what happened to mom and dad. She said nothing and began to cry in his arms. A few days later, you found out what happened. Some guy named thanos snapped half the universe away.

They said they would do everything they could to figure this out. Well, 3 weeks later, it was announced that they were never coming back.

Will didn't trust adoptive centers. He figured that he would treat he and his sister wrongly. So, he and Bella went underground. Will kept a low profile. Didn't want to attract to much attention. He didn't steal anything. He just got what he could

He helped Bella as best he could while he let himself suffer. He made sure she had clothes, food, water, all the basics. He wore the same clothes since they ran, despite how tattered they were getting, and hardly any food or water. All to make sure Bella was okay in this time.

This night however, everything changed for him and his sister. For the better.

Bella woke up from a nightmare she had about the events happening again. This time both of them leaving. Whenever this happened, will would confront her about how it wasn't gonna happen. Mostly because he never slept at all.

Bella walked over to will, this time, he was actually sleeping. This made the 7 year old girl confused on why he wasn't waking up. She figured out a trick a while ago, it was raining right now. And the cup they had was filled to the brim. She grabbed it and splashed it on his face, all the water coming down on his jeans. He still didn't wake up.

This began to strike fear in her "will" Bella said nervously. He wasn't waking up "Will" she said again. No results. "WILL" she said for a final time. Again, nothing.

She realized something was wrong with him. He had bags under his eyes. Messed up hair, over the days, he had red eyes.

Bella knew he needed help. Will told her specifically that they could handle themselves. This time, they just couldn't.

She knew who to go to.

The avengers.

Bella ran out of the alleyway in the pouring rain and went to the avenger hq. Which wasn't that far at all. In fact, it was a simple stroll. He didn't expect them to come check on some random alleyway.

Bella avoided the cars and went to the front door. It was bigger than she expected. It looked nice. She banged on the door with her two tiny little dry hands as she waited for someone, anyone to answer.

A sound came on to say that they have a visitor from Friday. This woke everyone up. They were curious because they were basically all the avengers in the room, plus the raccoon and nebula.

Nat was the first one to the living room to see what it is. Followed by Steve, Bruce, rhodey, Tony, and Carol. The others weren't there because they most likely didn't care. They did get normal clothes on fast. "Who could be that urgent at this time of night" Bruce said

"Relax Bruce, we're the avengers. We help anyone, anytime." Steve said

"You see that's funny because you're out of time." Tony said cracking a smile. Steve send a glare at him.

"Let's at least see who it is" Nat said. She pressed the button to activate the camera on the other side. It was this little girl that was maybe 7. Wearing a black and white striped long sleeve shirt. And same thing with pants. This confused the team

"Wait, a little girl as small as a chipmunk is at our door at this time" rhodey said

"Then it must be important to her" Steve said as he ran out to the door. With Bruce following hot pursuit.

Steve opened the door and the light in the hq slightly blinded Bella. Bella pulled at Steve's pants on her knees begging for help. "What's wrong" Steve said fast

"My brother needs help... PLEASE HELP MY BROTHER" Bella said sobbing. Steve and Bruce shared a scared look. "What does he need help with" Steve said.

"He won't wake up."

"Well, get us to him and we'll help him" Bruce said

"He's by the alleyway with the red and yellow art on it"

Steve and Bruce knew where that was. "Listen girl, I want you to go inside and explain to story to Natasha, or as you know, black widow. Bruce, set up the medical supply, I'll go get him" Steve said as she went in

"Please bring him back"

"I will" Steve said as he began to ran through the pooring rain. The entire terrain was basically a puddle in itself.

Steve had rain fly into his face. His hair was getting away from its usually blonde and to more of a wet brown.

He kept murmuring to himself red and yellow to remember the spot.

When he saw it, he slipped trying to stop himself from going further. He got up fast and saw will. Laying the physically fit enough teen motionless. There was two umbrellas. This must've been where they slept. Steve ran to will and picked him up and ran to the hq as fast as possible.

It only took within 10 minutes to get back to the hq. When he got back, he saw Nat hugging a crying Bella. Bruce was waiting for him and he was freaking out when they showed up.

Steve and Bruce got him to the medicinal room. Tony area listed how bad it was and butted in to help.

Steve walked out afterwards with a towel and in new clothes. With all the screaming and crying, Thor, rocket, and nebs came out. Thor in his usually silent state. Rocket being a cranky butthole, and nebula also being in a silent state.

Nat walked out of the many many, MANY guess rooms as Thor was walking to Nat "what's going on" he said

"Meeting. Now." Nat said

Nat, Steve, rhodey, Thor, nebula, Carol, and rocket sat down at a table as Nat was explaining what happened to the kids. The snap, the suffering, there family, everything Bella told her. The team remained shocked for a bit of a while.

"I got a good look of will. He looked drained. Hungry, thristy, injured, there was a part that looked.. Dead." Steve said

"Well, it can't be that much of a problem. We get the kid fix and then-"

"DONT SAY WHAT I THINK YOU'RE GONNA SAY" Nat yelled in a stern, mother, voice. Rocket sat back down with his arms crossed

"Wait, Natasha, what are you trying to say" Thor said quietly.

"I want to adopt them."

Silence. "I knew none of you would agreed with me" Nat got up from her seat and left. Steve followed her.

Steve called out for Nat's name Nat turned to him "WHAT" Steve stopped himself from walking "look Nat, adopting a kid is a normal thing to do. But two kids you just met."

"Isn't that how most adoptions work."

"Point. But even still, there are adoptive home and foster families. Why would he adopt two kids. We're the avengers. The avengers. Protecting the world is one thing. But watching over kids might be something else"

"Steve, all my life, I knew I couldn't have kids. When I was in the red room, I had nightmares about me playing catch with my kids, they started when I woke up. Knowing that I couldn't do that. And I have to live with that. These kids have no one but each other. And one of them could be dying. I'm not letting Bella live alone. I'm giving her the chance I never had. And... Maybe it could be the same with you guys"

Steve didn't know what to respond. She had a point. He remembered the time Nat told Steve about all the torturous things that happened in the red room. He knew that she wanted this.

"Okay. You can adopt them" Steve said

"Thank you Steve"

Bruce walked into the conversation. "Uh Nat if you want to adopt both of them, we might need some Dna exchange. Will's body is slowly beginning to stop. If we can get any of our blood like mine, or Steve's it can help him. It's a bit of a risky move. But it'll save him"

"I'll do it" they turned around to see Carol.

"Are you sure Carol, if you give some blood to him, he'll have the powers of your kind." Bruce said

"I know, which is why I'm helping him" she said

"Okay then, you do you" Bruce and Carol walked to the medicinal room.

"what's the word on Bella" Steve said

"Already asleep" Nat said

Time skip becau me lazy

Will woke up being blinded by the lights. That must've been the best sleep he's ever have. But, he's not in the alleyway. He's in a hospital room.

He sits up and looks around his surroundings. There was no one there expect a raccoon- WAIT A MINTUE

"Oh, you're up. Bout time. You've been asleep for a whole day."

Will got off the seat and prepared himself to fight "am I going crazy or am I talking to a raccoon"

"I'm not a raccoon"

"The kids up" he heard another voice. He turned to see the God of thunder himself, Thor at the door

"Thor, the god of thunder"

"That's me."

"I need a second to process what's happening"

He feels someone begin to touch him. He turned around and blew himself into the wall. The person was revealed to be the black widow. "Can someone explain to me what's happening"

"Your sister got us to find you. You were dying and we saved you by installing some Kree blood into you"

That was the last thing he remembered before fainting.
