Chapter II
Lenny came home with a black eye. His left eye almost shutting but he had the biggest smile on his face and accomplished what he wanted to get accomplished. Earlier today Lenny went over to the same place he first encounter Crimson and threw it all on the table and asked him on a date. Crimson was offended at first and socked Lenny right in the eye making him cry out of pain but he then realize It was only a question not a deep personal one. Lenny holding his eye in pain "AHHHHH WHY DID YOU DO THAT" he said in sobs. Crimson was looking at him then felt bad for the shark and gave in because he wanted to get away from this open water anyway for a while so what was going to the movies with another shark going kill? He sigh and went down to the falling sobbing Lenny "Hey listen um about that offer I'll go with you if you still want me to" Lenny stopped crying "Really you would?" Crimson nodded his head "Sure why not? Sorry for the hit" Lenny laughed "Oh don't worry about it um…." "Crimson" gosh what a nice name Lenny thought "Crimson okay so how about tomorrow let's say around 8?" Crimson smiled "sounds good to me". Don noticed the black eye Lenny had "Son what the hell happened?" Don rushed to Lenny side putting his fin to his eye making Lenny flinch "Don't touch it Dad" Don couldn't believe this he understood that his son was not violent in any type of way but there are times when you have to defend yourself in an emergency "It's okay Pop's it was an accident no worries plus what's for dinner?" Don was not buying this at all he wanted to know who attacked his son because they sure was not getting away with it. "Lenny I feel like you're not being very honest with me right now" Lenny knew his father too well and knew that if he didn't spill the truth then Don was going to look for it and the results of it never ended well. "Okay Dad here is the truth I got a date" Don, now surprised that his son was able to get a date but put that proudness aside to get to the bottom of his black eye. Lenny had no choice but to tell the truth if he wanted Crimson to make it in one piece and not on a stretcher or worse. "My date did this to me" Now Don was pissed off at his son for letting a female take him down like that. Don held his fin up for Lenny to stop talking "Okay first of all son I'm proud that you got a date but what I'm not proud of that you let a girl! A girl give you that! I thought I thought you better" It was now or never "Well Dad it didn't happen that way and my date is not a female" everything stopped Don's heart skipped 4 beats "Not a girl? You mean not a girl shark as like another female fish right?" Lenny put his head down in shame "No Dad" Don at a loss of words not knowing what to say next and Lenny did not want to look his father in the eye. This wasn't easy for Don, come on Lenny was already a vegetarian now he's….gay? How long will it be before Don had enough of Lenny secrets and truths? Don was staring at Lenny with a blank expression because he was at a loss of words and did not know how to handle the situation. His options were only weighed down to 2. Number 1 beat this non sense out of Lenny and teach him how to be a real man shark or number 2 accept it, love him no matter what and move on. He didn't need to lose another son and he didn't want everyone against him for not accepting his son ways so he did the only thing he could think of "I'm going to need a drink after this one".
Sorry folks I would keep going but I want to leave it at this so you can think what he is going to do and why he is going to need a drink after what he does. And the movie date is tomorrow and Oscar doesn't know yet about Lenny either so how will he take the news? But I will give a slight preview.
"OSCAR WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?"
He roughly pushes Lenny against the brick wall
"Can you two keep the noise level down?" Lenny blushes
"This is my first time too"
"You turned the mob against my own son?!"
