Ninja Storm: Rise of the Eclipse- Chapter 2: Looming Thunder

A few days after the meeting the three Rangers, Crystal and Lucy found a place to rent for the time being. That was until they returned home. The younger sister found a sports place called Storm Chargers that they could hang out in.
Pulling up to the small store, Crystal parked her car and climbed out. She locked her car and walked over to the entrance of the store. Opening the door, Crystal was met with a flurry of customers leaving the store. She smiled and allowed the people to leave. They didn't even notice her but Crystal shrugged.
Shuffling over to the counter, Crystal rested her hands on the counter and looked around. She could definitely get used to the store. " Can I help you?" A boy, no older than 18, standing behind the counter with an oily rag in his hands. Crystal silently noticed the morpher like wrist thing on his wrist.
" Yeah, I'm looking to get a job here." Crystal smiled as she placed her hands flat on the counter.
" You're in luck. Kelly's looking to hire." The boy pulled out a packet of papers and a pen for Crystal. " Fill it out and I'll give it to Kelly." Crystal took the papers and the pen. "I'm Dustin, by the way." He extended his hand.
" Crystal." She shook his hand. " Thanks." She smiled, walking to the couch area and started to fill out the papers.
After a few minutes, Crystal walked back up to the counter to find a redhead at the register. " Welcome to Storm Chargers." The redhead smiled. Crystal placed the papers on the counter. " Oh, you must be Crystal. I'm Kelly." Kelly smiled once more.
" Nice to meet you, Kelly." Crystal smiled as she set the pen down. Kelly looked over the papers. She nodded a few times and looked back up at Crystal.
" Welcome to the Storm Chargers team," Kelly announced. Crystal grinned, shaking the red head's hand. " Can you start in a few hours?" The blonde nodded. She said goodbye and walked over to the motocross gear and started to looked at the helmets and gloves.
Not finding what she was looking for, Crystal breathed. She left the store and headed back to her car. Shaking her head at a few thoughts running through her head, Crystal climbed into her car and started it up. She backed out of the spot and headed to the road.
After finding the nearest Motocross track, Crystal slipped on her helmet. She kick-started her bike and rolled it to the edge of the clearing. A yellow-clad rider was tearing up the track but Crystal thought it would be fun to challenge him. She pushed her bike and joined in on the race but what she didn't know what that was two more riders wanting in on the race.
The yellow-clad rider watched as Crystal pass him. Then he watched a crimson-clad and navy-clad rider pass him. Crystal looked over her shoulder at the two new riders. She smirked and pushed her bike faster. The two other riders pushed their bikes but couldn't pass the girl. She passed the finish line first. The crimson and navy boys then the yellow boy rolled through in either third or fourth.
Crystal passed the Storm Chargers van and up to her car. Unclipping and yanking off her helmet, Crystal grabbed her water bottle. The yellow-clad rider walked over to her and pulled off his helmet.
" Crystal?" Dustin asked, holding his helmet. Crystal looked up from her bottle to find her new coworker. " You were the wicked white rider?" Crystal smiled, nodding.
" Yeah." She answered. " Be ready. I'm willing to fight for the title of fastest rider." She joked, looking at her bike. " You mind helping me load?" She asked. Dustin nodded. They loaded Crystal's bike into the trailer and strapped it down. It sat next to a BMX bike that was the shade of midnight.
" You killed it." Dustin grinned. " See you around. I'm going to go talk to the other riders." He walked away as Crystal pulled off her guards and stuck them in the back. She climbed back in her car and pulled away.
" Monster Attack," Lucy announced as Crystal lifted her morpher. She turned off to the side of the road and climbed out. Looking around, Crystal found no one. She lifted her hand into the air.
Eclipse Storm, Ranger Form.
After morphing into her suit, Crystal ninja streaked to the quarry as Lucy arrived. They both watched from the top as the three ninja rangers take on the monster. It was a mole-like creature. Something that made Lucy cringe.
" Do we help?" Crystal asked, not sure on what to do. Lucy blinked, registering what Crystal asked. " What?" She asked, looking at her sister.
" How do you not know what to do?" Lucy asked, bewildered. Crystal shrugged. She sighed and turned back to the battle. " We've seen enough," Lucy muttered. She turned on her heel and walked away. Crystal looked back at the battle, sighing once more and following her younger sister.
" Do you wanna come with me to the store?" Crystal asked as they de-morphed. Lucy nodded, climbing back into Crystal's car.
After returning to the store, Crystal started her first shift of fixing bikes that were in the back. Lucy sat on the counter that faced the store. Lucy was playing with one of the tools while Crystal sat on the floor, her back to her sister. Crystal started to hum to herself as she tightened a few things on the bike. She stood up for her spot and walked over to the back bench and started to rummage through, trying to find a few tools.
" Lucy?" A male voice asked, startling the poor ninja. She jumped and landed on the floor. Standing up, Lucy held the tool up and stared at the guy. " Lucy Brewer?" He asked once more. Lucy raised an eyebrow.
" Do I know you?" She asked, setting the tool on the counter. She leaned on her arms and towards the guy. He had short black hair and tanned skin. He wore a navy blue shirt and a pair of shorts.
" It's me. Blake Bradley." He smiled. Lucy scrunched her eyebrows together. A light bulb went off in her head. She smiled as she looked at him.
" Hey, Blake." She returned. " Sorry, you look so different." She leaned closer to him. " I completely forgot that you guys were so close to Blue Bay Harbor as well." She rolled her eyes; kicking her sister in the back. " They're back." She sang to her sister.
Crystal stopped what she was doing and stood up. She met the same boy. " Blake?" She asked, setting the rag down on the counter and squinting to make sure that he was real. " Where's the Grinch?" She joked, grinning when Blake's brother walked over. " Ah, the Grinch himself." She grinned even wider.
Hunter Bradley rolled his eyes as he stopped behind his brother. " What are you two doing here?" He asked, crossing his arms. Crystal raised an eyebrow. Lucy leaned over her sister.
" Yeah, definitely the Grinch." She joked, earning another eye roll from Hunter. " We came here to check out the sports places here. Reefside had a serious lack of them." Lucy informed the brothers.
She was right. Reefside was home of the soccer players and the football jocks. Not a place for a surfer and a motocross rider to live but it was home. They couldn't be expected to pack up and leave because of the lack of sports places. They made Reefside their home and they were going to stick with it.
" You're right." Blake looked over at her as he crossed his arms. " Total lack, right bro?" He nudged Hunter in the stomach. Hunter nodded. Crystal's morpher beeped. Crystal bit her lip as she looked down at it.
" Oh, Lucy. We have to get home. Dover needs to be let out." Crystal yanked on her sister's arm. Lucy scrunched her eyebrows. " Bye guys." She called out as the sisters walked out.
When the sisters reached the quarry, they watched the monster turn into a large monster. Both girls sighed. They backed up, avoiding the fight. They watched as the mole dug underground.
" Enough with the digging thing." One male voice complained
" Shane, it is a mole, that is what they do." Another voice informed the ranger. " Power down and I will send you something to help," he stated. The Megazord flipped over and landed. The regular version replaced the sleeker version. A power sphere appeared and out popped a ram head.
Crystal and Lucy watched as the Megazord beat the crap out of the monster. " Time for me to hit the dirt." The monster said diving into the ground
" Think again, Chump." A different male voice said. He made the Megazord pound the ground, making the creature pop right out of the ground. " Hammer Time." The guy said as the mega-zord punched Terra Mole twice with the super hit. The Hammer reached all the out to the monster making him explode on impact.
After the fight, Crystal and Lucy head back home for the night.
What they didn't know was that they were going to meet the other rangers sooner than expected.
