Two months have passed and winter has set in. He still has no elk. Everytime he has tried to hunt his memories have been erased.

One night as the snow fell quietly she came upon a house, his house. His human stench gave it away.

"Ugh, how do humans stand each other?" she said to herself. "They stink..not like demons at all"

Sapphire went to the door and rang the bell then hid. She didn't want him to know she was giving him the good herself.

When Tierdal opened the door and saw the Elk skin, meat and a note. Sapphire took the time to carefully write it in the human language.

"Here's your damn meat. And a elk skin to keep warm, don't waste the meat human" It read.

He smiled to himself. "Thank you" he called out, not knowing she was fairly close to him.

Once he went back inside she walked off.

When she was out of earshot she said. "You're welcome...human"

He was impressed with all the meat she had given him. He was expecting as much as he got. That would last him through the winter and into summer.

The elk skin was a nice gesture to himself warm, he would've never thought of it himself. It was nice of her to consider him for that. But in her eyes he knew he was a lowly pathetic human.

He wasn't sure why she hated him. Or at least that's what he came up with. He knew nothing about her except she was beautiful. And that's all he thinks she allowed him to remember.
