This is Arnold's side of the story. It is a poem that 'he' wrote. It describes why he rejected her. Maybe Helga wasn't as innocent as her poem portrayed her. Maybe Arnold isn't as bad as what it had seemed.
Breaker.
The world is young, the world is old.
Her bitterness stung, it felt so cold.
For years I was pained, her torture I took.
No longer could my anger be sustained.
When she made me look, made me see.
She was in love, in love with me.
I declined. For my years of pain, I gave her a piece of my mind.
I broke her. Bit her like fiery sparks. I awoke her.
For I sent her, to
the shadows, the hollows the dark.
This is why, her love I must deny.
Do you think that this is a good sequel to Broken? Please give me your thoughts in your review. Thanks for reading.
