I awaken to the smell of blood and a killer headache i sit up and as I regained my composure and the headaches went away I looked around and see a lawbringer leaning against my cell door I smirked and put my arms through the cell and slammed his head against the cell wall I then take the keys off his unconscious form and unlock the cell I get out and find a sword I grabbed it and walked around
Third person POV
Mercy traveled along the road and finally found the Blackstone fortress she walked to Apollyon and said"master"Apollyon answered"what"mercy continued "jay has been captured by telvin"Apollyon said"damn ready a horse I'm leaving while I'm gone you and Holden are in charge see to it"mercy scurried away and readied a horse for Apollyon she later came by and got on her horse and left
Apollyon's POV
I left the horse to the side of the road so it's not too obvious I walked to the fortress and telvin said"hmm the fabled Blackstone leader well what a surprise "and then a peacekeeper kicked my leg and I fell to my knees then put a dagger to my throat I growled at her and jay said"what are you doing what do you want me to do,repent for the things I've done the people I've killed"telvin said"why yes that's exactly what you could do"He grinned and said"well your going to be waiting a long time because I sincerely regret absolutely fucking nothing"he said"too bad"and raised his sword my heart sank and I realized why but it's too late the telvin brought his sword down jay caught it with one hand and took a dagger off the floor and slammed it into telvin's side he staggered back and dropped his sword ripped out the dagger and yelled at his troops they got into a battle stance and then jay grabbed the dagger and threw it in my direction
JaysPOV
I threw the dagger at the peacekeeper holding Apollyon the dagger impacted cleanly and killed the peacekeeper instantly I pick up a sword and cut down the knights like a whirlwind Apollyon soon joins and we fight like we've know each other for years when in reality it's been some 11 months but we fight and clear everyone out we then walk back to her horse we get on and I ask "so do I or do I not"she said"of course why are you asking"I said"because I like having my fingers honestly I do and I'd rather not lose them"she chuckled and we way through the way home a thunderstorm picks up and scared the horses it kicked us off and ran away Apollyon said"damnit "I said"we'll never make it back in this weather "she begrudgingly agreed and we went off to find supplies for a fire I found a nice little cave I walk out to see Apollyon cutting bushes with her sword I walk up to her and tap her shoulder she instinctively backhanded me she realized who I was and said"oh my god jay I'm so sorry are you okay"I chuckled and said"I'm fine also who knew Apollyon cared about me I'm flattered "she glared but smiled at me she then said"well I was gathering wood for a fire before I was so rudely interrupted "we gather up the wood and head to the cave then start a fire and I noticed she was staring at the fire unblinkingly I asked"what's wrong "she said"nothing why do you ask"I said"first off you stared at the fire unblinking for a solid 1-2 minutes and you looked rather...sad"she said"nothing I just need rest we both do" she laid down and stared at the ceiling for an hour I asked"can't sleep"she nodded wistfully I said"I have an idea"she looked at me suspiciously and went to ask but I cut her off and said soothingly"hey just be quiet and close your eyes"I then sang when she listened to me

She yawned and asked"where did you learn to sing like that"I don't know why I told her this but I said"I did it a lot when I was younger before My mother died"I had a bit of bitterness in the end of that but she pretended not to notice and she walked over to where I was and put her head on my shoulder I then heard a soft snoring and chuckled to my self and drifted off to sleep
We awaken the very next day she said with a blush so red you could see it through her helm "umm did we sleep next to each other"I nodded and she grabbed her sword and said"well let's get going"we wandered around aimlessly in hopes of finding a road and we did as we were walking along I saw the shadow of a man creep out of sight then out of nowhere a shinobi comes sprinting full speed out of the forest and I catch him by his throat and slammed him into the ground while a peacekeeper slammed a dagger in Apollyon and I snapped the shinobi's neck then slice the peacekeepers leg off grabbed her face and slammed it into the ground three times killing her instantly and I looked at Apollyon and my eyes softened a bit but I ripped the dagger out and picked her up a hour later we arrived back at the fortress and I took Apollyon to cross and mercy we quickly headed to the infirmary
Apollyon POV
