"Adam we should not be here." Kim said as she tried to follow after Adam as he ran up the steps that would leave him to Sarah´s apartment.

"If you don´t want to be here." Adam said as he stopped walking so he could turned to face Kim." Leave." He said before he turned and kept on walking up the steps.

Kim quickly pulled out her cell phone and messages Voight before she hurried after Adam who had already walked inside Sarah´s apartment and a sad look found it way onto her face as she sees Adam just standing there looking around the living room.

"Adam." Kim said softly as she walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder and she could hear he was trying his best not to break down.

"What the hell was she doing at that hotel Kim?" Adam asked as he turned around to face her."

"I think you know." Kim said and she could see the angry look that was slowly showing on Adam face that he didn´t like where this was going.

"What are you saying!?" Adam asked as he pushed Kim´s hand off his shoulder." That she it it coming!"

"That is not what i am saying at all." Kim said as she tried to place her hand on his arm, but he back away from her.

"Voight said that you were yelling something about Sarah wanted out, what did you mean?" Kim asked.

"She wanted to quit, she didn´t want to work for Interpol anymore." Adam said as he walked over and sat down on the couch.

"Jack wouldn´t let her, said that they need to finish what they had started."

"What did he mean by that?" Kim asked as she sat down beside Adam on the couch.

"I don´t know." Adam said with tears in his eyes." All i know is that she has not been herself after that, she started to have nightmares a few weeks later." Adam said as he leaned his head back against the couch as he closed his eyes.

"Did she ever talk to you about the case?" Kim asked.

"No." Adam said as he opened his eyes and turned his head towards Kim." She didn´t want to talk about it." Adam said before he started to laugh.

"What´s it?" Kim asked.

"A few mouths back i through she might be cheating on me."

"Adam. Sarah loves you, she would never..." Kim closed her mouth as Adam waved his out in front of himself.

"I know that cause we got into this big fight a few weeks ago, hence."Adam said as he pointed to his eye.

"Oh, that is how you got the black eye." Kim asked.

"Yeah."

"What did she say?"

"I asked her if she was cheating on me and she turned to me and you should have seen the look on her face Kim. She looked at me like i had just slapped her." Adam said as he wiped away the tear that ran down his cheek.

"She told me she was not cheating on me right before she punched me in the face and that is when she told me about what had happened with Jack and that she need to finish this before so she could leave the past behind and now she is gone Kim and she is never coming back. I am never going to hold her again our hear her yelling at me for leaving my cloths all over her apartment." He said as they both laughed.

"You did like to leave your cloths all over the place." Kim said cause he did that when they were together to.

Adam was about to say something when the heard the front door being opened and the both of the reached for their guns as the walked towards the front door.

"Police." Kim yelled out as the door opened and Adam eyes hardened as he sees who it was.

"I told you i would kill you if i ever saw you again." Adam said as he pushed his gun forward."Please give me a reason."

"Adam!" Kim yelled out as she placed her hand on his gun and made him lower his weapon just as the door opened further and a couple of crime scene people walked inside the apartment.

"What are we looking for, sir?" A woman asked as she looked between her boss and the police officer as the stared each other down.

"I want that case file found." Jack said as he kept his eyes on Adam.

"Sir..."

"Find the file i don´t care if you have to trash the place i want the file." Jack said.

"Do you have a warrant?" Kim asked as she held her hand out to stop anyone from walking further into the apartment.

"Do you really want to do this?" Jack asked with a raised eyebrow.

"You hear her." Adam said."But please give me a reason." Adam said with a fake smile on his face.

"Sarah is.. was Interpol so anything she has work related belongs to us." Jack said as he looked between Adam and Kim."Now get out of my way." Jack ask he pushed Adam backwards." Or i will have you arrested for hindering my investigation."

"You really don´t care about her do you." Adam said and he knew just what to say to set Jack off cause Jack pushed him up against the wall.

"Enough!" The heard Voight´s voice yell and the both turned to see Voight and the director of Interpol´s field office standing there beside Voight.

"Sir." Jack said as he looked over at his boss."

"We are going to be working along side sergeant Voight´s team on this i am not finished." The director said as he held up a hand to stop Jack from saying anything else.

"And if you can´t do that you are off the case as well." He said.

"What do you mean as well?" Adam asked as he looked over at Voight." You can´t do that!" Adam yelled." I want the sun of a bitch who killed her..."

"Do i need to have your badge?" Voight asked as he held his hand out toward Adam.

"You serious?" Adam asked cause he could not believe Voight was doing this to him.

"I am dead serious." Voight said.

"Fine." Adam said as he clipped his badge of and placed it into the palm of Voight´s hand." All of you can go to hell." Adam said as he pushed his way out of Sarah´s apartment.

"Kim, don´t." Voight said as he sees Kim opening her mouth to say something and she closed her mouth as she held her hand up in before she back away and walked out of the apartment in hope to caught up to Adam, but she was to late cause the send she stepped out of the building she saw Adam´s car driving away.

"Don´t do anything stupid Adam." Kim said cause she knew Adam better then anyone.

Jay and Hailey was walking down the hallway of the morgue to get an update about the male victim that was found along side Sarah. Jay held his hand out to stop Hailey from walking further into the room as he sees Adam standing there staring one of the body´s that were laying on the tables.

"Adam what are you doing here, man?" Jay asked as he walked over and stood beside Adam who kept his eyes on the body.

"How bad is it and don´t lie." Adam asked as he kept his eyes on the blood that had sipped through the sheet that was covering her head.

"It´s bad." Jay said placing his hand on Adam´s shoulder." Come on, man." Jay said as he tried to pulled Adam away, but all of the sudden Adam pulled away from him as he walked towards the body and took Sarah´s hand into his own as he turned his around so he could look at the back of her hand.

"Adam." Hailey walked towards Adam and she was about to say something, but she closed her mouth as Adam turned his head over his shoulder to look at her.

"Where is her things?" Adam asked as he turned back to the body and hope filled his broken soul.

"Her things?" Hailey asked with a confused look on her face." The are locked in as evidence back at station . why?"

"I don´t know who this woman is." Adam said as he turned around so he could look at Jay and Hailey." But that is not Sarah." He said as he pushed his way through the two of them.

"What do you mean it´s not Sarah?" Jay asked as he and Hailey tried to catch up with Adam who was hurrying down the hallway." Man slow down!" Jay called out as he broke in to a ran as he reach his hand out to stop Adam.

" What do you mean it´s not Sarah?" Jay asked as he turned his head towards Hailey before looking back at Adam.

"That woman in there didn´t have a tattoo on her wrist and Sarah has a.."

" A Chinese symbol." Jay said as he once again looked over at Hailey with hope on his face.

"That is why i need to see all of the thing that was locked into evidence." Adam said.

"Then lets go." Jay said as he slapped Adam on the shoulder as both men hurried down the hallway, leaving Hailey standing there wondering what had just happened cause she didn´t know Sarah as well as the rest of the team did.

Somewhere else in Chicago Jack was getting out of his car as he walked towards and old apartment building, he and Sarah had brought together when they had first moved to Chicago so they could keep on running leads with out anyone knowing about it. Jack need to see if Sarah had brought the file there cause it was nowhere to bee found, they had trashed her apartment looking for the file and came up empty and he knew she would never bright it to Adam´s place cause that mean he would find out what they had been up to and it had been a part of the deal she had Jack had made.

Jack stepped out of the elevator and he walked into the room, but he stopped in his tracks as he sees blood drops on the floor and he pulled out his gun as he started to look around the room when he all of the sudden heard glass breaking and he knew it was coming from the bathroom so he hurried down the hall and pushed the door open.

"What the hell Sarah!?" Jack yelled as he sees Sarah sitting on the floor of the bathroom with a cloth pressed against her stomach.

" A little help, please." Sarah said before she blacked out.
