Well, that went better than expected... I wasn't really expecting this to somehow gain 5 favs, 11 follows and 2 reviews… I was expecting 1 "go kill yourself" message and a follow... well, I'd better not disappoint those followers.
Edit: Forgot to thank PervySageChuck for proofreading this chapter. Sorry Sage.
Chapter 2
0 hour, 0 minutes, 5 seconds
I was told that if the game ever forced a person to logout, you'd find yourself jolting back in your seat wearing your helmet... not finding yourself all covered with gore along with a graphic setting that would bring that latest Dive system game to shame. There was blood everywhere along with organs and body parts.
What is this? A horror game? This is a DDMORPG fantasy game with a T-rating which I know shouldn't be able to produce this much carnage as this goes far beyond that rating.
There was also the fact that I could smell the stomach churning smell of blood and feces in the air which made me want to puke. This also shouldn't be in the game unless I was hit by the spell, "Nausea", and even that debuff didn't have this much of an effect on me with my stupidly high Magic Defence and Resistance.
I don't know what's going on or how I somehow cleaved a person in half and not caused a normal lv. 1 wolf to explode into particles...
"Smiley-sama, should I wash your armor?" A timid female voice asked behind me making me quickly turn and point my spear at their necks.
My spear made a loud crack at the sudden snap I made at the person who dared sneak up behind me, which was kind of strange as weapons don't make any sound whatsoever when you move them around, only for me to realize that I just nearly hit my NPC Companion.
Rin, my Shield Maiden/Maid NPC let out a fearful squeak as she stood frozen while my spear was held right at her pretty little throat. One push and my spear would find its way into her throat. Did my NPC just talk to me? How!? How can she talk when there was no game engine in YGGDRASIL that can give a simple Companion NPC a voice and no game engine in existence that could emulate the heart-wrenching cry of my NPC?
I felt my jaw move beneath my helm, a feat that should be impossible as avatars have their faces set in a single expression, and I couldn't help but hang my jaw at the expression my normally inanimate and stoic looking NPC wore as tears dripped down her face.
"I-I'm sorry Smiley-sama! I didn't mean to s-startle you!" Rin cried out as she stood there begging for my forgiveness as she was crying. Tears streaked down her face as she shook and cried out.
"Smiley-sama! Please forgive my sister for her actions. It was my failure for not reminding her of how she should act that made her do things to displease you. Please have mercy and understand that she only meant well!" Len, my Mage Knight/Butler NPC, shouted with a tone that begged for my mercy as he moved to go in between my spear and his sister.
I just stood there gobsmacked as the NPCs that should normally just be expressionless bots now were both showing things that should be far beyond their ability and well beyond any game engine to date could possibly ever hope of emulating.
The realization that my two beautiful NPC's that I have invested countless hours to modify their lore and maximize their stats along with having them equipped with the best items that money could buy were now living and breathing before me. They were twins designed with the core design of being heavenly purity. Both had hair as fair as snow and striking blue eyes. With lower halves colored with pure white and armed with armor and weaponry that had the "holy" look to it, the two were angels. Not even the blood covering their pure white armor could tarnish their beauty.
I let out a choked gag as I saw Rin's neck, scratched and bleeding from a cut from my spear. I had harmed them, my spear made them bleed. Placing my spear on my back, I moved forward making them both tense as my hands moved to Rin.
Lifting up her chin, I looked at the wound on her fair skin.
I don't know if this was real but even in my dreams, I would never dare hurt these two. Their names were uninspired but I poured more hours into their lore than what could be called healthy.
Rin looked so small and fragile in my giant armored hands.
Hell, everything would look small next to my massive 9 foot tall frame with a wide and muscular body. I was a massive centaur with a Shire horse's build for a lower body and the racial bonus of [Titan] to make me far bigger than any race outside of the [Giant] race group.
I'm really confused at this moment and maybe going into a bit of shock with everything that was happening right now so it may be clouding my judgement, but I was a person who most often acted out of instinct and would do things on the fly so I did the first thing that came into mind. Whenever one of my team mates was injured and was too far away from a healer, I used the skill [Injury Transfer]. It was a skill that I got while leveling up in the Blood Warrior Job Class. The skill just swaps the status effect and percentage of health between the caster and target so a caster with 50% health and have a poison status can swap with a healthy 100% health target to get their health and give the target the 50% health and poisoned status. This can also be done vice versa with the caster being the healthy one and the target being the injured one.
My body and Rin's body glowed blood red as I promptly took the scratch off her neck and onto my own.
The twins gasped at my actions seeing that I had just used a skill that took out a tenth of my mana pool.
"Smiley-sama! Y-you shouldn't have! W-we can heal on our own! We have potions in our inventory!" Rin declared, obviously confused at my actions. It was a logical reaction from him considering I was a strict master according to their lores.
I merely hushed the both of them, placing a finger to their lips as I calmly said, "No complaints."
The two tensed a bit before nodding stiffly.
Why did the two keep tensing whenever I… Wait a minute… Tensing… Had I been activating my passive [Conqueror's Will] which reduces resistance to mind control along with having those with low resistance become mind controlled? A symptom of resistance to said skill was a slight tensing of an NPC.
I took a deep breath as I lowered my eyes before letting out a long sigh to calm my frayed nerves. This, this was just too much for my poor mind to handle in a single day. I needed some time to digest all this and to check what the hell was happening right now.
"Rin, Len lets mo…" I started to say before I paused due to the scraping sound of my armor being hit echoed in the quiet forest clearing that I had found myself in. My two NPC's who were caught by surprise both cried out in outraged anger as they moved into killing positions but I motioned them to stop.
I slowly turned, looking at my assailant face to face expecting something more but ending up seeing something less than expected. I saw a small, puny lv. 20 Angel was repeatedly stabbing my armor causing burn marks to appear over the surface and a desperate summoner garbed in an obviously religious outfit who was repeatedly trying to command the angel to keep attacking me.
What did this summoner expect? For me to suddenly keel over?
"What the hell are you doing and why did you just put a scratch on my armor?" I asked slowly as I grabbed the Angel's head who flailed around for a bit before going limp as its head was crushed between my palms like a ripe tomato.
"Y-you dare harm a scouting p-party of the Sunlight Scripture, you damned h-heathen!" The summoner shouted as he summoned another low level angel.
I just have to say that I am impressed with this man right now on how brave he was acting, trying to loook all tough and scary in front of me and my NPC's while being only strong enough to summon a weak angel.
Well, that respect only lasted a moment before I gutted the fool like a fish on a spear. The mage gasped, shouting in pain as the crippling [Greater Bleed] [Crippling Strike] and [Cursed Wound] effect of Gae Bolg promptly turned his eviscerated internal organs into a pulpy mass of bloody mush.
Ohh, God! The guy was peeing and pooping himself.
Ew...
Ewww!
EWWWWW!
I waved my spear around hoping to dislodge him but it only flung the fecal matter from his disembowelment around, much to my horror along with my two companion NPC's.
Dear mother of God! I'll never gut another person again in the stomach if this keeps happening!
Ohh, God! Get this shitty asshole off my fucking spear! I don't want no fecal matter on my bling!
I swear to god that if my spear is covered in filth, I'll fucking sell it even if it is a Divine-Class Item!
