Rick had moved into his new townhouse just awhile ago,Rick was about to open the car door,when he herd a familiar voice.
"Rick"
He looked over at next door,he saw Kate"
"Kate,hey"
"Hi"
"I'm guessing you moved out?"
"Yeah,well I have a meeting,do you think I could come over later?"
"Yeah sure,but I have boxes everywhere in entry so just go around the back and knock on the siding door?"
"Sure"
"Well see you later Rick"

Rick knocked on the sliding door,Kate,opened up the door.
"Hey,Rick"
"Hey,I brought you some chips"
He said giving the bag to her.
"Thanks"
"I wasn't sure if you had eaten yet"
"Come in?"
"I don't want to make the house dirty"
"Don't be silly"
She said pulling him in.
"I'm not really a clean person,so don't worry about it Rick"
She walked over to the fridge.
"Would you like beer?"
"Yeah sure"
She put the two beers on the table.
"So is there any reason why you moved?"
"I broke up with my boyfriend awhile ago and I just wanted a fresh start"
"Trust me I understand"
"How did things end with Meredith?"
"Well they moved to LA,are getting married and having a baby"
"Oh Rick,how long ago"
"4 months ago"
"Oh Rick,I had something to ask you?"
"Yes"
"My friend Lanie,is getting married will you come with me please"
"Yeah sure"
"Thank you, I was going to go with my ex but the break up happened"
"When is it?"
"next Tuesday at 2:00PM,I'll drive us to the church"
Rick looked down at his watch.
"Sorry Kate,but I have to go,I have a poker game"
"That's alright"
"Would you like to come with me?"
"Yeah sure I was going to unpack but poker sounds more fun"
