32. Temptation
Characters : Maeve and Sinbad
Timeline : After The Vengeance of Rumina.
As the days passed, it became apparent to her that she had not the strength to resist him. They had become so close lately and each passing day they seemed to become closer. There was a tenderness between them and so many words unspoken... There was a tension in the air almost palpable whenever they were in the same room. Yet, she knew she should not get close to him. Any feeling of affection would be an obstacle in her mission ... A mission that was crucial for the well being of her beloved brother, but also for hers because she could not bear to see him in this state anymore...
However, each time her velvet eyes met her Captain's sea blue ones, she wondered how something so wrong could feel so right.
Sinbad was no more than a temptation she just could not resist.
