This story was originally planned to be a one-shot, but SONICXFLUTTERSHYFOREVER had asked that I add another chapter to the fanfic. He also gave me the base of the storyThank you so much for the idea and helping me with it. This chapter takes place a few days after the first chapter.

Charlie Brown's POV: "Oh, Charlie Brown! I'll hold the football for you." I hear the venom in her tone, almost knowing that she will pull it away, however, if I could kick that football and make her flabbergasted as to me being able to kick it. So I agree, and start lining up to kick that football to the moon. With my newfound determination, I ran faster than I had in previous setups. I start feeling that it will be a reality, but the next thing I know, I'm flat on my back. Lucy comes up and with her menacing laugh says, "Oh stupid old Charlie Brown, you will never kick the football, you can't even kick the football with no audience, no team counting on you. You missed even worse than at the game, which was extremely embarrassing!" I know I should ignore what Lucy says, but the venom in her voice, and her menacing words just take me deeper down.

Unknown to Charlie Brown and Lucy, there was someone watching the whole encounter, and she was furious!

Heather's POV: A few minutes back, if you had asked me how I was feeling, I would have said rejuvenated and happy. However, if you were to ask me how I feel now, I feel furious, and a tad bit of sympathy. What gives the brat Lucy the RIGHT to dangle the prize in front of Charlie Brown, only to remove it moments before Charlie Brown would have gotten the prize, kicking the football! What gives her the right to heckle Charlie Brown, and What gives her the right to bring up the Homecoming game, which she lost because she would pull the FOOTBALL! I can't stand it any longer. It is time for some action. I wish Charlie Brown would stick up for himself, but I guess when you've been through all Charlie Brown has, it's easy to see why he doesn't. Marching with fire and fury, I enter the scene. "You lost Homecoming because you are nothing but a worthless pile of wishey-washy!" Lucy exclaimed with a venomous tone. "EXCUSE ME!" I shout at her. It's too far to stay calm and collected, Lucy has finally released the inferno which can't be stopped. "LET'S SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT! CHARLIE BROWN WOULD HAVE KICKED THE FOOTBALL AT THE HOMECOMING GAME AND TODAY IF YOU WOULD JUST HOLD IT, AND NOT PULL THE FOOTBALL AWAY LIKE A SNOT-NOSED BRAT! YOU CONTINUE TO BLAME HIM FOR NOT KICKING THE FOOTBALL BUT YOU PULL THE DANG THING AWAY! CHARLIE BROWN CONSTANTLY GETS BELITTLED BY YOU AND YOUR SNOT-NOSED BRATTY FRIENDS WHEN HE NEEDS TO FEEL LOVED! IF YOU WEREN'T SO DARN STUPID AND HEARTLESS YOU WOULD HAVE REALIZED THAT!" I wanted to say so much more, but I already felt like I had said too much, and I was starting to regret it. Lucy glares at me and storms off, whining along the way. The inferno has subsided, leaving only the sympathy, compassion, and love I felt for Charlie Brown. "Are you okay, Charlie Brown?" I rush over to him, kneeling over him, hoping that everything is okay with him physically, and hoping to help him mentally. "Yea, you didn't have to get involved, I'm used to Lucy's demeanor." My heart sinks further. He doesn't realize his own value, a product of all the ridicule he went though. "I should have and did get involved, you don't deserve that, you don't deserve any of that. You are a great guy. You're super sweet and funny. How about we find a quiet place where you can kick that football?" He nods. I was able to come to the conclusion that he didn't want a crowd. I grab the football that Lucy had dropped once I intervened, and while I hold his hand, lead him to the deserted practice field. I get the ball set up the best I can. "Come on Charlie Brown, I promise you will kick it." I know he trusts me, because right after I said those words, he started backwards, gauging how far to go. He winds up, runs, and he gets close, but I am too afraid he will accidentally kick me so I reel back in fear. He goes flying and lands on his back. Oh NO! I am so awful! I promised him and I am now such a terrible Person! "I'm so sorry!" I ball, wanting to run away, but before I can, Charlie Brown stops me, holds me, and says, "It's okay, I could tell you were scared about getting accidentally kicked. Let me teach you the proper technique so you won't get hurt." He says, and grabs the ball. He sets it up the proper way, then hands me the ball to set up. I nervously try to mirror what he did, and he says, "That's right, now hold it steady, and I will kick it and you won't get hurt." He does the same thing as he had so many times, and he actually kicked it far. I am so proud of him. This boosts his self-image, and he runs to where the ball landed. He grabs it and then runs back. "I can't believe I kicked it!" He exclaims. I feel so much better knowing I had helped him achieve one of his dreams.

Charlie Brown's POV: I finally got to feel what it is like to kick a football! After all these times of Lucy pulling the ball away, I finally kicked a football. And to think that Heather, my dream girl, would be the one to make this happen. I would like to get her a gift, not only because she helped me achieve a huge milestone, but also because I like her. Now comes the hardest part, deciding what to get her. I want to get her something that she will love. I decide to take my little sister, Sally, with me to find something she would love. I soon come to the conclusion that asking Sally would be a mistake. She goes up to a very expensive piece of jewelry and says, "There, that is the perfect gift!" I look at the price tag, "Yikes, that is way to far out of my price range." She just shrugs and says in response,
"If you don't get her that, then I guess it is goodbye Heather." I decide its time to walk Sally home, then I'll ask some girls closer to Heather's age what I should give Heather.

Later That Day: I soon come to the conclusion that asking Patty, Peppermint Patty, Marcy, and Violet was also a mistake. All four of them are disagreeing with each other, "Pick this one!" one says,
"No! Pick this One!" another shouts. Before too long, they are all arguing louder and louder, I sigh and leave. I start thinking I'll ask John and Linus for ideas. I happen to find both of them on my way back home. Linus tells me, "Whatever you get her I am certain she will love, you may want to get her something she's interested in." We both look at John, knowing that he might have a feasible answer as to how to get an idea on what to get. "Madison knows Heather very well, you might ask her for suggestions, and a heartfelt gift." I thank them both, and I hurry on Home. I call Madison's home, and we arrange to meet at the store tomorrow.

The Next Day: I see Madie at the store and she leads me to a medium sized stuffed pink teddy bear with hearts, "This is the perfect gift for Heather, the bear might bring back memories for her." I look at the price, and it is perfect. I get it, and I thank her for helping me. "No problem, Charlie Brown, I she told me about helping you with the football. From what I gathered, that is the first time you kicked it, with Lucy being so cruel. Anyway, got to go. See you around." She leaves, I get a gift bag with tissue, and tuck the bear inside. I call Heather and tell her I have something for her. She says, "How surprising, I got something for you too. Where would you like to meet?" I think we ought to meet on the football field, so I suggest it, and she agrees. We will meet tomorrow after lunch.

The Next Day (Neutral POV): Charlie Brown is nervous, thoughts of doubt go through his head. He quickly shakes them away as he is going to the football field. He arrives and Heather is waiting for him. He hands her the gift bag, and she opens it. A smile comes on her face as she sees her present. She pulls it out and says, "Awwwwwwwwwwwww. Thank you so much! This certainly brings back memories, I'll have to tell you sometime. Here is my gift to you." She then hands him a gift bag similar to Charlie Brown's gift bag. He opens it and smiles to see a football with the date he kicked it and a message: "Charlie Brown, you did it! I am so happy that I was able be a part of this important moment."
"Thank you so much Heather, I like you a lot!" and with that, they both lightly kissed and embraced.

Unknown to Charlie Brown or Heather, two other love-birds just happened to be walking by the football field as they kissed and embraced. "I knew you would have the perfect gift idea for Charlie Brown to give to Heather." John says to Madison. They kiss lightly, and continue walking, hand in hand.
