Sorry I haven't added another chapter. I just didn't expect anyone to really read it but I'll try to write more as long as I get views, reviews, and follows. If not, I'll just end it.
After we reached the green room, backstage, I plopped down on a comfy couch. My stomach dropped as Luke sat beside me, but I put on a calm façade.
"So what are your names?" Skip asked, breaking the silence.
"I'm Mariah and this is Kal," I said gesturing towards my friend next to me. She smiled and waved her hand.
"How old are you guys?" Beau questioned, smiling at us.
"I'm 18 and she's 17," Kal replied back, eyes on Beau. I rolled my eyes, Beau was her favorite. I turned my head and saw Luke staring at me.
"What are you guys filming a 'staring situations' for YouTube?" I joked and smiled at him. He laughed and flashed a shy smile in return.
"Nah, he just is picturing you naked. He's a dog." Skip grinned and Luke threw a pillow at him. I shook my head but couldn't help but laugh.
About an hour later Skip and James left to go warm up the crowd. Beau, Jai, and Kal went to go talk to Ronnie, Jacob and the rest of the crew. But I didn't mind, seeing as I was alone with just the guy I've been fangirling and dreaming about for the past year. I grabbed Luke's snapback and put it on my head.
"Am I cute yet?" I asked in the most horrible Australian accent that sounded half British and half dying manatee which made Luke crack up.
Oh my god. That laugh.
"Adorable." He grinned and looked back into my eyes. I blushed and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. "Especially when you blush."
"I can't believe that I'm actually here with you." I mumbled. He reached over and grabbed my hand, I rubbed my thumb on the back of his hand, smiling. Beau, Jai, and Kal returned, Beau hopping right in between Luke and I, causing me to quickly pull my hand away. I placed Luke's snapback on top of Beau's and Kal pulled me up. She asked around and found a bathroom, locking the door after checking each stall.
"Soooooo? What happened?" Kal asked before even turning around.
"Don't get too excited. We just talked." I said, resting my back against the wall. She made a face. I rolled my eyes and looked at the door.
"We've been gone too long let's get back," I unlocked the door before she could respond and when I returned the boys were gone. I walked over to wear the stage was and peaked through the curtain to watch them, laughing at their crazy skits. It was a good show. We stood with Ronnie as the boys stayed on stage. When the show was over Luke ran over to me and smiled.
"You guys were hilarious," I yelled over the chanting coming from the crowd. Luke reached for my phone, in my pocket, and tapped the screen continuously. When he handed it back, I saw his name in my contacts followed by multiple emojis, a smile tugged at my lips. I tapped 'new message' and sent him the monkey covering his mouth emoji. Afterwards they went out back to their car that was waiting for them and Kal and I made our way back to her car. James told us to meet them back at their hotel so we followed them.
