HEY-O!

I'm not dead! still here.

sorry that I haven't updated stories yet for ... um never mind. I don't think you want to hear the whole story. Just finished my junior year and I am now a senior in high school. I'm also studying to get my license. Lets see how that turns out... :)

SO here's the new chapter!

Chapter 2 : Cosmos and Maniknis

3rd pov.

"Who are you?"

"HA! Um..."

Looking up, the young girl, Katie, found a pair of bright blue eyes staring down at her. As the owner took a step closer she scooted herself back. Tall, lean figure. Messy brown hair, dressed in black with an open fur trim collar jacket and white shirt, the boy looked... cu-

Katie flushed.

'What the hell am I thinking! I'm only 17 for damn sake. And this is no time for fantasy's!'

"I'm Katie. Katie Seto. Um..."

The teen kept staring at her with a heavy gaze. Making Katie a little awkward.

"It's alright, Squall. She is one of us."

Katie turned when she felt a hand on her shoulder. A tall woman in a white gown smiled down at her.

"Its you."

The woman's smile grew as she looked over at the male teen.

"Squall. It is rude to stare at a young woman. Especially since she is your partner."

"partner? Cosmos, I work alone." Squall said. It sounded a little defensive to Katie as she tried to taken everything.

"Yes, it is true that you tend to work on your own, however this girl will be a great asset to you. So what will you do?"

Katie glanced at Cosmos then to Squall.

'W-What the heck is going on? 'Partner'? What does she mean? Cosmos...Why does that name seem familiar?'

"Um...I'm not really sure what's going on here, but I don't want to be a burden to you." Katie said. Drawing the attention to her.

Cosmos smiled. Squall turned his head to the left.

Suddenly a loud shrill sound rang in Katie's ears.

"AGH!"

'What the -'

Several shoots from a gun echoed in the air.

looking up, Squall held up a gun/sword and ran past her. Cosmos grabbed her shoulders and pulled her close as a red crystalize sword almost hit her shoulder.

"What is that!?" Katie asked as she watched Squall ran his gunblade through the red crystalize creature and ran to fend of the other five.

"A Manikin. They are puppets of the God of Discord. Your enemy." Cosmos replied. Gripping the girls shoulders tighter.

"Manikins?"

"AGH!"

Squall was blocked and punched backwards by a large armored Manikin with a huge sword. He fell hard on his back but blocked another blow by countering it with his blade.

"Ah, Squall!" Katie called out.

Squall's expression was mixed with agitation and annoyance.

Two Large Manikins broke from the fray and charge towards them.

"Cosmos!" He yelled out.

Breaking a way from Cosmos, Katie unconsciously moved to be in front of Cosmos. An orange Manikin raised its knife. Ready to strike.

"Idiot!"

"Katie!"

"..."

"Stupid girl."

And... CUT!

sorry. Hope this chapter isn't to short. I'm trying to think of more stories that I can make. I'm still trying to work on a story for Uragiri wa boku no namae wo shitteiru and maybe type up one of the big X-over Fanfic that I've been working on...well... I don't know.

I write in a note book and edit it on line for errors or for detail.
