Chapter Two: A Killer's Lullaby

Daniel began to stir uneasily, "Where am I," he sat up and discovered Amanda staring at him, "Right, what happened?"
"You're alive aren't you, what else is there to know?" Amanda asked, she then turned to the radio that sat beside her bed on the nightstand and turned it on, the DJ spoke the title of the next song that was to be played, and as she lay back in her bed, Amanda could hear the sound of Metallica's To To Die.
Amanda sighed and closed her eyes, letting the gentle rhythm of the instrumental ballad sooth her, "You know Daniel, this is the song that John used to calm me down whenever I felt like relapsing back into heroin addiction, he also played it when I had trouble sleeping, it kind of reminds me of him."
Amanda could hear the lyrics being spoken, it sounded to her like Jigsaw was saying them, as she gave way to sleep,
When a man lies, he murders some part of the world
These are the Pale Deaths which men miscall their lives
All this I cannot bear to witness any longer
Cannot the Kingdom of Salvation take me home?
