So it turned out Hiruzen was still Hokage, which is kinda good and kinda bad. It's good because I have a lot of time to become strong before the hax people start crawling out of the woodworks. It's bad because the villages are about to go to war with each other or they already are at war. I hummed in thought over all the various possibilities.
"Ryu!"
I snapped out of my reverie and followed her voice. I found her talking to three other children all of whom had postures that practically screamed 'I'm a brat!' Olivia was explaining to them that I had never played 'Ninja' before. Puto A, as I'm calling the kid with blonde hair, said that I should be the 'Bad Ninja' with puto B, the kid with the brown hair, and puto C, the kid with black hair, backed him up. I didn't even know what 'puto' meant but it felt right so I went with it. Olivia apparently took it upon herself to defend me which, while sweet of her to do, was totally unneeded, I had even told them so.
With that no more arguments, Olivia had kindly started to explain to me how to play 'Ninja' which turned out to actually be Hide-and-Seek, I kept my thoughts to my self on the matter. After she had explained it to me they had run off in different directions to hide, when they did I received a prompt.

"Hmm, seems the system has a bit of sass and a little vindictive." I mused as I counted down from one hundred. When I reached zero I set out to find the little brats but not before finally investigating the irritating feeling of something flowing through me. Well, it's more rushing through me than flowing. The feeling started from my navel, traveled all over my body from my head to my toes and back through my navel. I had been able to ignore until now as I had more pressing matters to attend to at the time.
From the way it circulated through my body and from what my memories of the anime tell me, this feeling is probably being caused by my chakra. Now from the anime, they had the Academy students meditate to unlock their chakra, so that's what I did. I sat down, focused on the irritating feeling and released any unneeded thoughts. Moments later I felt a sort of warmth from my navel area, I pulled at that warmth and it came somewhat easily. Two loud pings caused my concentration to waver which made the feeling slip through my metaphorical fingers.
I sighed annoyed before opening my eyes and reading the messages.

As I stated earlier I didn't expect much, so I didn't get much.
I wanted to end this game fast so I could go experiment so I tried to make a sensor so I did something that wasn't chakra extensive and probably was a bad idea in a village full of paranoid shinobi. I pulsed my chakra and (un)surprisingly it didn't work.

'Okay, so that didn't work. What if I use it like echolocation?' So I did and it worked this time. It wasn't great I could only sense the general direction that another source of chakra was in but it was something, so I called it a win.

With that, I set off to find the kids. Walking for a bit every now and then I sent out a pulse until I found Puto B in a bush. He didn't seem to realize I was there so I snuck up behind him and scared the living daylights out of him by putting my hands on his eyes and mouth while dragging him back a few feet. He passed out from fear so I put him back into the bush and left him there before going and finding the others.
I found the rest of them in short order. They were so excited about how quickly I found them they wanted to play again and again and again and again. We *Cough*They*Cough* played until the sun started to set. I noticed they were getting tired even when I was the enemy ninja Every. Freaking. Time. So I suggested, Read: Demanded, we end the game, go inside and eat dinner seeing as we had skipped lunch. The bright side about this is that my skills leveled up a lot and I got a few new ones.
