I drowned out the rest of the announcement and continued to read by book, 'Deception Point' by Dan Brown.

'It's quite interesting! Du-uh! It's Dan Brown!'

"Look at her baby smile. It's sooooo cute!"

'Give me a BREAK!'

I turned to look at Emma being cooed at. Emma is one HELL of a spoiled brat.

'Yeah….. When there are two great parents to pamper her why the hell wouldn't she be one?'

'If only Charlie is there with me now…'

Charlie is my biological father and Renee my biological mother. Charlie was the chief of police in Forks and Renee works as a nurse in Phoenix and I am their only daughter Isabella Marie Swan.

When I was three years old my parents divorced and Charlie ended up living alone in Forks. Since then I've been living with my mother, Renee. Renee remarried a basketball player Phil and has a four year old kid in that relationship….. My step sister… Emma, Emma is a sweet and kind child. Though she's only four years old, she is the only one who treats me as human being. Focusing back I looked around the cabin. Renee, Phil and Emma were sitting in the three seated centre row. I looked at the seat beside me.

There was a girl about 16-17 years old sitting next to me. She looks quite beautiful

'Well….she's hell beautiful!'

She turned towards me.

'Crap! She caught me red handed for staring at her.'

I blushed ten shades of red.

She smiled at me & I smiled back just to be polite.

"Hi!"

It took me a moment to respond. I never expected her to talk to me.

"Umm… Hi"

"My name is Alice Cullen, what is yours?"

"Isabella Marie Swan, but I prefer Bella."

It was only then I noticed her eyes.

Gold…

Was it real? Contact lenses? Most likely yes.

I never had the guts to ask…..

I didn't know how to continue the conversation. She seems to have a very elegant and bubbly personality, something which I didn't know how to deal with.

Fortunately or unfortunately she got deeply engrossed in some fashion magazine.

I turned towards the window and in turn choosing the blackness instead of her beautiful and radiating face not knowing anything about what awaits me in the near future.
