" Kid? is everything ok-" Kat said then she said and then she saw Wally, reading on of the many books in her library.

The library itself was nothing to look at, what with it being dug out in a burrow and only containing a few pieces. Though the most important part of the library was,

of course, the books. Both magical and mundane tomes resided here, from a book that the moment one opened it the pages will tear your flesh off your bones like

paper, to a paperback copy of the most recent Young Adult novel. "It's paperback 'cuz it's cheaper" Kat would reply, explaining her reasons to Wally. "Only the

centuries old texts are hardbacked" She'd explain in her own odd way.

Wally was sitting on animal skin blankets. The fleece ones, which were pink and purple with kittens or polka dots as the pattern, were wrapped around him in a

cocoon. The book he was reading intently was a copy of the internationally popular and renowned A Year in a Werewolf's Den by The Lady Ithbery

Wally seemed to be reading intently as he can be, eyes glued to the pages. His face looked stressed, Trying to forget about where he is and what's going on around him.

"Hey Kid what's going on? Are you feeling OK? You should just go back to bed. You shouldn't be out and about just yet." She started, walking over to him and pulling

him off the floor. Mother-henning him the way there.

Watchtower

August 19 02:15 EST

As the team heads off to Gotham, Robin isn't sure he's ready for the job.

"Hmmmmmmm... I wonder what's going on with Batman, he won't even tell ME! and I'm his partner."

"Rob what's wrong?" Wonder Girl asked concerned for her boyfriend, their relationship... was going at least, they were a flame, flickering on and off. They were, for

the moment together, but who knows about tomorrow.

"Huh, nothing." He huffed, not wanting to unload his problems onto others. One thing that people know about Timothy Jackson Drake, is first his insane sleep

schedule then it's his self-sacrificing attitude.

"Ok." Cassie said not wanting to push the bounds of her relationship further.

When he stepped into the zeta tube Cassie thought to herself.

"Something's not right with Robin. I hope he's ok."

Gotham

August 19 3:45 EST

Outside Black Mask's warehouse

"Alright team time to go, we're not going to find Black Mask or the man after him standing here," Robin said telepathically.

"Right!" Rang throughout the telepathic link and the team went to their positions.

As they fell into the rhythm of their mission, a scene was playing out below them.

12 of black mask men in the warehouse, most standing around a large crate. The crate was big enough for two Great Danes to fully stand in.

The other men were standing by the entrances, two at each point. Semi-automatic guns pointed in front of them, the warehouse was otherwise empty.

Then, he walked in, a tall mysterious figure wearing leather and kevlar. No one could see him, but he managed to activate the device in the large crate. The device

was AMAZO, the one things that the original members of the team never hoped to see again.

August 23 10:00 EST

Wally and Kat were enjoying a break from superheroing and catastrophes of the like. They were sitting on worn chairs made of black hawthorn and moth-eaten cushions. Wally was retelling stories of the team's adventures.

" So we had just reached the swamp where the Injustice League was headquartered." He explained, body animated in his seat. "The ship started to go down into the water. Then Artemis pulled out two re-breathers, then she gave one to me."

Kat, wide-eyed in her seat, currently shoveling popcorn down her gullet; somehow, surprisingly breathing. Her body was buried in multiple blankets, the only part of her body that was able to be seen was her face and the quick motions of her hands moving to shovel more food in her face or slurping her soda.

Wally kept telling her about his years on the Team, from Independence Day to the time when he and Artemis left. Kat spent the rest of the day listening to his stories of being Kid Flash.
