There is darkness before light,
and shadows after blight,
as all lives begin
and the way they've been
"They never saw that cat as who she was,"
she snarled, raising her paws
"They ignored her, taunted her,
but she was not weak
She knew she would show them
like a diamond in a gem,"
and so she wanted, asked,
threatened for things far and vast
"They asked for it,"
she muttered, her claws sunlit
"That she-cat plotted out everything-
from the longest claw to the smallest wing,
she wanted revenge,
to have her life avenged,"
While I sat, listening, my eyes wide open,
she went on with the fierceness of ten,
"that cat planned for long-
Some would say too long,
but when she finally took action,
she raised quite a reaction:
First she killed her sister,
she was a pawful, a resistor
then she slayed her leader,
his face shadowed like a cedar,
and then you want to know what happened?"
The she-cat asked,
I nodded, "Yes, please."
