Chapter 2 Brave

Sky woke up in the morning to the smell of something sweet.

"Mornin' sleepy head," Deadlox commented when he saw Sky walk out of the bedroom where he had slept. "I made cake, I thought it would help you feel better after... you know what."

Sky, who had been yawning, cracked a smile. This made him make a little bit of a squeaking noise. "Holy- what was that?!" Sky stuttered and stiffled a laugh. 'Quit laughing, dude!' He thought to himself when he noticed Deadlox chuckling to himself. "Anyways... thanks man. I appreciate it," the commander then over to his friend and gave him a great big bear hug, but from behind. He knew it was awkward. He knew that the chocolate haired boy may think he was weird. But that didn't matter right now.

"U-uh.. S-sky...?" Deadlox muttered, his cheeks a deep, dark, red. When the commander didn't answer, he just sat there and smiled. Maybe.. just maybe.

After quite a few moments, Sky pulled away. He was hungry, and he was sure Deadlox was too. He was a little drunk last night, after all. He ate a few pieces of cake, leaving the rest for his friend to have. Wait. Where was his shirt? Oh, yeah, duh. He , must have taken them off before he went to bed. But.. WHERE did he put them? After a thurough search of both his and Deadlox's side of the room, he was pretty anxious because that was his only shirt, and Dawn didn't get to do the laundry beafore she left.

"Yo, Ty, do you know my...," as he walked into the kitchen, he found his friend holding his shirt, with possibly one of the cutest smirks he has ever seen before, "..shirt is..."

"Oh, this silly ol' thing?" he waved it in the air, "Yeah, it's been in my pocket this whole time."

"Well, give it back," the commander reached for it, only to have it snatched out of his grip by Deadlox. "What the hell, man?" Sky exclaimed. Being taller than the chocolate haired boy, he thought would for sure be able to reach it. Well it turns out deadlox being smaller was a dissadvantage to him, for he could easily squeeze out of Sky's way. "Dammit Ty! Give it back!"

"Nope!" Ty said as he ran away, hiding beind the wooden couch.

"Ty. Dude. Please," Sky took a couple of steps toward him.

"You brave enough to come and fight me for it?" Deadlox asked, raising an eyebrow curiously.

Sky was shocked. Seriously? He wanted him to fight him for it? Was he crazy? But then again, this did give him an idea... Sky smirked, "Okay."

Ty looked shocked. But that expression went away as soon as it had appeared.

Sky, at first, had slowly approached Ty. But after a few moments he jumped at his chocolate haired friend, tackling him to the ground. "GIVE ME MY SHIRT, TY!" the commander screeched loudly and playfully. Only thing was, Ty still struggled to keep the shirt away. "Oh c'mon! You can't keep it away from me forever!"

"Just watch me," Deadlox mutered, suddenly flipping Adam over and pinning him to the ground. "Watcha gonna do about now, punk?"

And this went on for... quite a while. Maybe an half hour of wrestling and heavy breathing until Sky finally got his shirt back. Ty had finally given in.

"Told.. you... I'd.. get it," Sky muttered, breathing heavily.

Ty only rolled his eyes and left the room to go get his cake.
