Chapter 1: wake
Nick's pov:
The first thing I noticed was the cold, it was freezing. My vision was still very blurry from waking up, I wiped my eyes and stretched for the first time in a while. My body was stiff and numb. I didn't know what year it was or if it was safe, so I did what any person would have done and called out "hello…" no response. I noticed my pod door was opening and as soon as it was fully open I looked around trying to get my legs working again. The floor was cold to the touch and everything looked like it was abandoned. I slowly made my way to my locker on the other side of my pod. I opened it and saw the few things I wanted to keep with me when I woke up: my shotgun, my hoodie, a decent pair of jeans, my combat boots, and my two revolvers with the holsters, yup everything was there and there was also a set of special goggles for me to cover my multi colored eye (yes I said multi colored because I have one eyes that is a sky blue and one that is forest green). As soon as I had everything on and strapped to me I heard an explosion just outside the room busting in the door and in the doorway stood a strange looking figure with orange hair and what looked like a toy gun with some sort of tank with an orange liquid in it…
Jess's (agent 3) pov:
As soon as I blew open the door I saw what looked like a huge octoling standing there in some strange looking gear but it didn't attack I started thinking of ways to get out of this situation without fighting but then I noticed the thing was trying to talk to me "# %" I didn't understand what it was trying to say but then a small section of the wall started opening and some kind of computer was activating. The creature walked over and typed away at the weird computer and another part of the wall opened up and I saw some weird ear pieces that the creature grabbed and put on.
Nick's pov:
The strange figure just stood there when I tried to speak to it after I said "hey" the figure looked confused so I asked Jake (the A.I.) "Hey Jake can you help me out here?" then a panel In the wall opened up and showed me a computer I walked over and typed my password into it and another panel opened up to show me a set of ear pieces that I completely forgot about till now. I put them on and thanked Jake for the help then I tried to talk to the figure who was still in the room. "Hey, what's up?" I asked and the figure looked shocked "you can speak oceanic?" she asked, "is that what this is?" I responded.
Sorry for the cliff hanger there but that's as far as I got and sorry for waiting so long to post this but I was busy…nope not going to make an excuse for me just being lazy and not posting but im sorry and I hope you enjoy.
