Chapter one

Jaz P.O.V

I tucked my hair behind my ear. This was it. I had finally made it to Storybrooke, Maine. The woman said I would find my answers here. And let me tell you I was determined to get them. I just had to know who I was and where I came from. I had just woken up 3 months ago in the hospital with no memories of who I was except for my name, age, birthday, and that I'm pretty clumsy. That's pretty much it. I just hope I don't screw things up. I carefully stepped over the town line knowing it would be seriously difficult to step back across but honestly I Just have to know who I am and where I came from.

As soon as I crossed I felt a tingle all over my body followed by a pounding headache that was really unessessary. I looked back to see a small dome flash over the town the. Disappear. Magic. The only explanation to what I saw. It had to be.

I started to trudge through the forest. I took the forest so nobody would notice me. I had to stay on the down low until I settled in and showed these people I was friend not foe. To do that I needed an ally. But who? I had to find a believer. A believer that believed I was on their side. That's when I saw them. Two kids, my age to be exact. One boy, One were talking so I decided to eavesdrop.

"Henry did you really use this book to make your mom believe in magic?" The girl asked the boy, Henry, as she called him.

"Uh-huh! It was still hard either way. She kept calling them fairytales, Fiction! But thanks to a little push from your dad and more persistence from me I did i! Cool right Paige?" Henry said. So the girl's name was Paige.

"It's Grace! Paige was my name during the curse! And yeah I bet my dad wasn't that much help! People thought he was a madman. He is the mad hatter after all." Paige, no Grace said
