"me and mummy are still going to be angry. Especially me. Starting from now." Myles easily pulled a serious face, his features turned dark, scaring the living daylights out of his poor twin brother. To conquer his fear, Beckett tried to put on a serious face too. It did not work.
"you can't pull that face all day!" exclaimed Beckett. Jealousy was taking over him, and they both knew.
"try me" Myles said as if though he was asking for a challenge, only making things worse.
"ok, we'll have a staring contest. In…" they both closed their eyes to get ready.
" three" they looked away.
" two" they took deep breaths
"one" then as quick as lightning, they turned their head and fiercely looked in to each others eyes.
This competition went on for hours, but both were determined to win. They could feel their eyes start to water after fifteen minuets, but now, waterfalls were now coming out of their at 10km p/h. it had to stop, but no, it shouldn't, it wouldn't, it couldn't. So on and on it went.
it had hit ten hours, and Beckett felt like some espresso and treacle. Mmmmmmmm. Yum. and his mouth started to water, much to Myles disgust, he felt like throwing up, and he did, on Beckett, with his eyes open. Beckett's eyes were open to, which was a mistake, and there was chain reaction, going back and forth between the two of them. And Juliet still didn't noticed them.
an hour later, both boys were red in the face and sick to the core. both were in some fantasy dreamland and a high pitched girly voice brought them back to reality.
"a hole in the wall." it said. "most convenient. I wonder what Artemis has be up to..." both boys looked too see a pretty fairy hovering above the ground with uncertainty. you would expect them to go 'oooooooooh'. But no. they screamed... and the earth exploded.
