A boy ragged and dirty was hiding among the stacks. His hair was as black as the darkest night, as was his eyes. His face was beautiful. His pale skin contrasted with his hair, complementing his features.

Her mom came to see what was happening. The boy moved away in fear, but her mother reached out for him. "What's your name? And where's your family?" The boy just clenched his fists and a tear cascaded down his cheek.

"I see. Come with me. Sakura-chan, accompany this boy to our house." Sakura nodded and took the boy's hand.

Inside the house…

"So, are you hungry?" Sakura asked. The boy just nodded silently. "Hmm… let me see. We haven't cooked yet. Oh, there's some food in the pantry." She led the boy to the room. "Here's a tomato, an apple, and some others. What do you like?" "Tomato."

Sakura was surprised. She had thought the boy would just remain silent. Well, he does have a voice. I thought he was mute.

She let the him it the tomatoes in silence. Then, finally after he finished, she asked him, " What's your name? I'm Haruno Sakura." "Uchiha Sasuke."

Her eyes widened. It was the clan that was massacred! No wonder he was crying when mother asked him about his family.

"Oh. You can sleep in my room tonight. Just avoid my brother. He's not so nice to outsiders." He nodded.

So, then, the Harunos decided to take care of him. And years passed.

10 years later…

"Last one to the river's dead meat!" Sakura yelled. She laughed and pushed Sasuke out of the way and ran.

"You're dead meat! Hahahaha!"

"No, cheated!"

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

Sasuke pushed her to the river. Sakura yelled. What they didn't know was that it was the deep part. And I mean very deep.
