A/N: there were a couple things I wanted to say about the previous chapter before we get started on Dominique, who is one of my favorite characters. In fact nineteen I mentioned something about Angelina Johnson, and I'd like to explain that my perception of Angelina is that her relationship with George was really unhealthy and she ran out on the family. That's all lovies.

Dominique Fleur Weasley
1. She had stronger veela powers than Victoire, and loved to flaunt it in front of her just to see her eye twitch like that when every boy in the room became putty in her hands.
2. When she was eleven, right before her first year, she decided that she would never be as pretty as Victoire and she grabbed a pair of kitchen shears and hacked her hair off to her chin. Her mother was horrified but Dominique felt as though she could make something of herself outside of just being pretty.
3. The hat had originally wanted to put her in Hufflepuff, but she had yanked it down hard on her head and threatened the hat nine ways to Sunday until it put her in Gryffindor with her cousins.
4. Dominique had never meant to become friends with Elouise Pucey. They had been paired together in potions class to support inter-house cooperation. She at first hadn't had any intention of talking to her until Elouise looked her up and down one morning and said: "You look lovely today." With a smile. At that point Dominique didn't think Elouise was all that bad.
5. She's an avid quidditch fan and has a totally heterosexual girl crush on Holyhead Harpies coach Gwenog Jones and Victoire loves to tell the story of how they went to a match for her birthday and Dominique all but fainted when she flew onto the pitch.
6. She all but exploded when James started avoiding her the year she invited Elouise over for break. That was when she decided to form the House Unity Committee. She had buttons passed out to almost every student by the end of second year.
7. Dominique met Graham Wood in the hospital wing in her fourth year and his seventh year after a brutal quidditch match. They'd chatted briefly but nothing really after that. The next time they saw each other was six years later after one of his quidditch matches she was reporting on, and he had casually asked her to dinner. They were married three years later.
8. Dominique always really admired her cousin Lucy for some reason.
9. Dominique was double jointed in both thumbs and loved making people cringe when she bent her thumbs like that.
10. Dominique's favorite aunt was Ginny, mainly because she was the one who inspired her to become a journalist and got her an internship at The Daily Prophet.
11. When Louis told her he was gay she jumped in the air shouting that she knew it. When he asked her how, she told him that she had never met another boy who criticized her shoes the way he did. They both spent the rest of the day hugging and laughing.
12. Dominique loved the scar on her left temple that stretched to the corner of her eye. It makes her feel like a bad ass.
13. She tells people she got the scar from a snowball fight gone wrong, but she really got it when she was five when she tried to shave her eyebrows off. Victoire walked in on her and startled her so bad that she gave herself a nasty cut. Only Victoire and her parents know this.
14. She had her growth spurt early and was taller than all the other Weasley children for two years, when everyone else caught up, making her the shortest.
15. Her first kiss with Graham was incredibly awkward. First they bonked heads, then Graham tried to kiss her again just as a buss rounded a corner and splashed them both with muddy water, then a strong wind blew Dominique's hair into her face and they both almost inhaled it.
16. Her second kiss with Graham was romantic. He was dropping her off at her flat that night and just as she was about to go inside he called out: "Wait, I almost forgot something!" And she was about to ask what when he kissed her.
17. Dominique lived with James for a year before Elouise moved in with him, saying all the estrogen would kill him.
18. Dominique had tried to play piano, violin, oboe, and flute. She failed at all four.
19. Dominique and Graham didn't plan on having kids, so together they traveled the world, tried exotic food, and made amazing memories together. Everyone agreed that they were the best storytellers.
20. However, they did end up having one son, Garrett who, much to Dominique's chagrin, was just like her.
