Author's note: Another short chapter

Kiba sighed as he watched Hinata watching Naruto. It figured that he wouldn't be the one she loved. He was too gruff and feral. That was Kiba, though. He was a wild person by nature.

He smiled sadly and got up to get back to training. Shino walked over and they began to spar as usual. Akamaru began to follow a butterfly and left Kiba open for attack.

"Hey Akamaru… you need to concentrate," Kiba called out as he barely dodged getting hit by a swarm of bugs. He dove out of the way and used an attack known as Grave Shift to go underground. He barely grabbed Shino's pants legs before he felt something crawling in his shirt. Kiba jumped out of the ground and fell laughing.

Shino smirked, or so Kiba thought, as Kiba started getting tickled by the kikaichuu. Hinata looked over and she semi-giggled covering her mouth.

Kiba didn't blame Aka for not paying attention since it was a beautiful day. He wished that he was carefree like the little pup that he carried around, but he wasn't.

Kiba looked up at the clouds like Shikamaru normally did. 'Why did I have to fall in love… with someone who could never love me back?'
