Chapter 1: Pup Life
The she-pup opens her eyes to the shining sunlight. It was the first time she ever opened her eyes. Moon turned to look at her pups and sees the yellow one has opened her eyes. She smiles seeing they a beautiful blue color.
"You have opened your eyes!" She says. "I really should give you pups a name but I must wait until your father comes back."
The pup squeaked at the sound of her mothers voice and turns to look at her. She say beautiful black wolf-dog with a white belly and tail and a crescent moon on her head. The female's eyes were white.
All of a sudden she smells another scent and turns to see two other pups crawling towards her. One of the pup's eyes were shut tight. It was small much smaller than the large wide-eyed pup next to him. The large pup was black with grey markings. She turned to see the other pup. She jumped a little. The other pup was half white half brown with weird black markings all across its body. It was small. Very small. She then smelt a familiar scent as her father walked into the den carrying to rabbits. He set one down next to her mother. Moon looked up to the male.
"Leap, what shall we name these pups." The big male looked over at his pups and locked eyes with the she-wolf with blue eyes.
"Her blue eyes… there beautiful. We should name her Jay after her blue eyes." The female nodded.
"I would like to name the half-white half-brown on Hawk because he is handsome in his own way." She said. Leap nodded agreeing with his mate.
"And to continue with the bird names lets name the black one Crow." Moon's tail wagged excitedly.
The pup yipped. She had a name. At the same time she said her first word. "Jay."
