A red, yellow and green colored motorcycle skidded to a store in front of the head detective. The black haired man barely looked up from his notes, only pausing in his writing to say "Hello, Robin".
Gloved hands removed the motorcyclist's helmet, revealing spiky black hair and masked eyes.
"What happened, Detective?" Robin asked, getting off the motorcycle.
The detective sighed and handed his notes to a younger detective. E began to walk away, Robin following. "Around midnight last night, a child was murdered on his doorstep. According to his parents, they had just returned from trick-or-treat and were in the process of getting ready for bed.
"They heard the doorbell ring and assumed it was just another trick-or-treater, hoping to get at least one last piece of candy before heading home, so they let the kid answer the door. After a few minutes of hearing nothing from the kid, they went downstairs and found him lying in the open doorway, his throat slashed."
Robin sighed. "So why'd you call me?"
The detective took a few steps to the right and beckoned to followed and took a deep breath as the detective pulled the sheet back, revealing a boy about seven years old, blood covering his throat. But the strangest part, was that he throat looked as though it had been slashed by the claws of a cat.

A quiet, nearly inaudible gasp interrupted Robin's retelling of his morning.
All four of Raven's teammates looked at her. "Somethin' wrong, Rae?" Beast Boy asked expectantly.
"What? No! No, no, nothing's wrong, everything's fine, please continue. And don't call me Rae." The half-demon rambled uncharacteristically.
"Raven, something made you gasp." Cyborg arched an eyebrow. "What's wrong?"
"I, uh, nothing. My foot's asleep, that's all."
Her companions looked skeptical, but Robin resumed his story.
"There's no physical evidence anywhere. It's as though the killer wasn't there at all. Based on the claw marks and the lack of evidence, the detective's handing the case over to us."
Abruptly, Raven stood up and left the room.
"Dude, wasn't she just sayin' her foot was asleep?"
