Chapter 2, please!
Opening clip: Around the screen we saw four Wizard Style rings on each side: two on top: the Flame ring on the right and the Hurricane ring on the left, and two on below: Water ring on the left and Land ring on the right. Two horizontal ancient magical writings down and up, and two vertical dragons going up while breathing...sweets.
"Shabadoobi Touch to Henshin, Shabadoobi Touch to Henshin, Shabadoobi Touch to Henshin" As the Wizardriver chanting Johnny Hōseki put the Flame Style ring on his hand to demonstrating the audience (Doremi, Hazuki, Aiko, Onpu, Momoko, Pop, Majo Rika and Lala and the fairies).
"Henshin." He called as he flips the glasses of the ring then places it in front of the buckle.
"Flame, Please!" Declared the buckle. Johnny held his left hand in front as the large magic circle was fully manifested and passing over at Johnny as the buckle chanting. "Hii Hii, Hii Hii Hii!"
In front of them is Johnny now known as Wizard. "Saa... Showtime." As he lift his hand with the flame ring as he declared

"I use magic, I'm a mage." He replied Johnny showing his Flame style ring. Onpu took a step back by this information.
"MAGIC?!" The girls who join joined their friend to find out what's going on scream in shock with jaw dropped that the boy know how to use magic.
"So you can use magic too?" Hazuki asked with her glasses all white while holding them.
"Yes I can do magic without ..." Johnny said it but stop as he realized. "Wait a minute, 'too'?".
"Well yes, we can do magic too." Doremi said while scratching her cheek. "We're witch apprentices!"
Johnny blinked twice. "You girls are witch apprentice?"
(Opening theme: "Life is SHOWTIME")
"The magical rings, Wizard rings, contain magical power. There's a young boy today, who wields their power with both in his hands, with the help of the witch apprentices, so that despair may become hope." (Scene: Wizard's magic circle is seen, before the four elemental rings are out of the circle, as the Flame ring slides itself on the middle finger of Johnny's left hand and showing his right , as he is seen floating in front of the magic circle with the silhouettes of the five witch apprentice around him. The last part shows an image of Wizard imposed over Johnny's image before the opening starts)
Maji ka!? Majide!? Majida! Showtime!
Wizard is seen twirling around several times with his magic circle in the background, before he releases Dragon, then ride on his back flies through the sky, before breathing fire over the magic circle, forming the title.

Johnny looking at somewhere on top of the rooftop of the store, before a quick shot of a solar eclipse is seen, followed by a quick shot of Wizard, then by a quick shot of Johnny. Then the scene shows the five witch apprentices (Doremi, Hazuki, Aiko, Onpu and Momoko) with their apprentice uniforms before they clap their hands once to activate their Parara Tap to switch their uniforms, then they are preparing sweets until they shows their finished cookies still warm.

The scene shows Johnny and Koyomi reaching out for each other, but end up passing each other before the scene freezes and breaks apart as it were like glass. Then it shows the members of the Senior Witches in the place where they hold their meetings. Then it shows Johnny on the rooftop again with Koyomi approaching when a flash turns Johnny into Wizard then another flash turns him back to Johnny.

Then the scene shows the five apprentices perform a magical stage, with their magic spell combined it shows Wizard's magic circle before the queen of witches appears. Then Johnny appears in the scene preparing for his Henshin, then he placing his hand with the flame ring in front the buckle before we see him inside of a crystal ball while he transform.

Koyomi is seen with her crystal ball which shines brightly.

Wizard is seen doing a spin, before stopping and showing his Flame Ring.

Wizard spins around as he summons the three PlaMonsters which fly away, before Wizard is seen as he casts a spell that causes explosions to appear behind him.

Wizard in his Flame Style jumps through a magic circle on the left, emerging in his Water Style. Before Wizard jumps through a magic circle above him, emerging in his Hurricane Style, kicking up a gust. Before Wizard goes through a magic circle beneath him, emerging in his Land Style. The scene then shows Koyomi who is reaching towards the screen as she fading away, before the scene changes to show Wizard reaching out towards a solar eclipse, before his hand is seen grasping Koyomi's hand.

Wizard is then seen riding on the Machine Winger, before jumping through the portal that leads to an Underworld.

Then Dragon appears before Wizard jumps with his Machine Winged, took control on Dragon and flying alongside with the apprentices on their brooms.

Several scenes of Johnny, Doremi, Hazuki, Aiko, Onpu and Momoko with each one of them being in a group of their classmates and friends, before it change with all six of them together with their teachers. The scene then changes to show adult Johnny riding on the Machine Winger with Koyomi, followed by a scene of Johnny placing a red Engage Ring on Koyomi's finger.
Showtime!

Various shots of Wizard in his various styles, ending with all the styles in one in his flame style as the shattered pieces of the background are restored.

Johnny is seen quickly, followed by a split screen of Wizard, the witch apprentices, and Majo Rika, Majo Luna, Lala and the fairies, each one of the apprentices wears rings on their fingers with a music note design being theirs colors are seen as the music ends.

Chapter 2; The Mage of Hope.
"Eh? Your childhood friend and her friends are witches apprentice?" Koyomi asked. Right now, Johnny is with the girl named Koyomi and ponytailed witch frog talking. Since his arriving he first told them his school day, the day went good for him and he even said that he was late but luckily he was able to arrive in time and he also told that he met his childhood friend and made new friends, and the witch frog and Koyomi were surprised that he had a childhood friend and they are very happy for him, he even said that they work in a sweet shop and their sweets are delicious. He also told his fight against Minotaur and it was a success because he was defeated, but it was not over when he explains that his friends were witch apprentices. "Yes that's right." Johnny replied nodded his head.
"Oh, then that means they must have a witch frog mentor and even in group as well." The frog said. "What they said after seeing you fighting?"
"Well, after having said that I am a mage and they are apprentices, I told them I'll explain everything tomorrow." He said. The girls want to know what's going on but he said he will explain tomorrow because he used a lot of magic, which causes disappointed in their faces especially Onpu.
"I hope one of them must be a Gate." She said Koyomi. "Even if a Phantom is destroyed another one will do its job."
"I wouldn't be sure about that," Johnny and Koyomi looked at the witch frog in confused.
"What do you mean Majo Luna?" Asking Johnny confused.
"To become a witch apprentice a human must have a Magical Tap which gains her a uniform and a Pollon. After that, she must do the exams until she finished the last exam then she receive a crystal ball." Explaining the witch frog named Majo Luna.
"I don't see where you're going?" Koyomi asked not knowing what she was trying to say.
"Like I explained before, witches cannot give birth to Phantoms. They all must have confronted your friends for Gates with their Magical Tap." Majo Luna explained.
"I see." He said Johnny. He has a lot of concern for them, if one of them is a Gate.
Somewhere in the house Segawas, Onpu is sitting on her bed in thoughts, today she reunited with her childhood friend and she learned that he is a magician, she couldn't believed it. Magical beings were supposed to be born at the Majokai and yet she knows Johnny very well since kindergarten and she didn't saw any strange activity, she who had once raised a baby witch has experiment that any young witches could have done some magic. Could've be that his from the wizard world like Oyajide and FLAT- 4? He said he will explain tomorrow, it may have the answer tomorrow.
Later that night, somewhere far away from the distance, in the same abandoned building, "DAMN IT! That Minotaur had screwed up!" Phoenix furiously kicked a cardboard box learning that Minotaur had failed his mission and defeated. Medusa who just sitting on a couch with eyes closed and arms crossed, she could feel exactly how Phoenix's feels but calmed. "Damn that Mage-kid, is bad enough that he stopped our plans in that old city but FOLLOWING us here! Damn That Kid!" He said furiously as his fist was on fire.
"People will hear you if you're that mad." Medusa said still eyes closed.
"SHUT UP!" Phoenix snapped. "And how can you be so calm after what happened?!"
"You remember what Wiseman said," Medusa said as she gets up from the couch. "They're will be new Phantoms as long the Sabbath could be performing."
"Tch!" Phoenix growled. "The next Phantom better make a good job."
"Speaking of which, yesterday I found new Gate and I know a perfect one to do the job tomorrow." Medusa said smirked then Phoenix's angry expression turns into a smirked as well.
"Well why you didn't say so." Tomorrow will be the for a new Phantom to be born but also another day for the ring-bearer mage to do the job.
"Do you think Johnny-kun will tell us?" Hazuki asked. Right now, the five witch apprentices are found in the school's roof to discuss during the recess.
"After what just happened yesterday, I doubt about it." Answer Aiko. "I thought that that Akatsuki and his friends were the only young wizards in the wizard world. But I had a hard time believing that Johnny is a wizard."
"Akatsuki?" Doremi asked. "I wonder if Johnny knows Akatsuki?"
Aiko and Hazuki sweatdrop by Doremi's fantasy.
"The wizard world?" Momoko asked.
"Oh right Momo-chan you don't know but there exist a world of wizards male counter back of the witches." Hazuki explained.
While Momoko was surprised by it Onpu simply look through the fence in her thoughts, since this morning she, Hazuki and Aiko saw Johnny enter their class, they could always try to talk to him they really want to know what he is exactly but they can't talk about magic in the classroom it will be too risky. So she hopes that she could get to know more about her best friend today.
"Onpu-chan!" Onpu's thoughts were interrupted when her friend Hazuki snapped her.
"Err... Yes Hazuki-chan?" She asks.
"I ask if you knew that Johnny might be an apprentice." Hazuki said.
"What makes you thinks of that?" Onpu asked in confused.
"Well, because of that suit he wore during the fight I thought he can be an apprentice." Hazuki explained.
"Oh yeah it's true! He was super cool in that suit during the fight, he even gives punches, kicks and swords attacks to that one-horn-missing monster*." Momoko said as she did some air punches, air kicks and making herself like she's making sword motions. (If you see this ' * ' it means Momoko had spoke in English.)
"Not to mention it he was in adult size too." Aiko point out. When they saw him transformed not only he was suit up but also growing in an adult size. "But I'm also wondering what the heck that monster was?" That hit them right to their minds, not only they discover a boy that can use magic but a monster that was chasing them.
"That monster was scary~" Hazuki said with frightening in her voice remembering that terrified monster.
"But the way you scream save us all." Momoko said giving the brunette a tap on the back.
"Your right Ai-chan, what was that monster anyway? And what does Johnny-kun means by 'going after you guys is my job'?" Doremi asked. Now the girls were curious about what Johnny had said.
"It's called a Phantom." The girls turn their head to the source of the voice and they saw Johnny coming out from the door, Johnny wore a serious expression on his face.
The girls blinked. "Phantom?" They asked in confused.
"Yes. They're magical creatures who manifest themselves inside the bodies of the Gates that fall into despair before being born into our world." He explained walking to them hands in his pockets. "The Phantoms are planning to populate themselves by making all the Gates falling into despair and gave birth to new Phantoms."
"Gates? Who are these 'Gates'?" Hazuki asked.
Johnny closes his eyes in thoughts as he begins to explain. "You girls are witch apprentices, right? Long time ago,humans and magic used to coexisted in harmony before, but the world of magic had rejected the humans because of their misbehavior and were forces themselves to move to a world where witches can live in peace, while some still lives in the human world, but the world and even you girls don't know is that there are some humans who have strong magic potential in them from the past several years now and today." He continued to walking as he approach to the fence and then place it his hand on it. "Is what the Phantoms called them." While the girls were taking by this information they were surprise to hear that that some humans have magic potential in them, also one thing that got them in question.
"Wait a minute, if you said that the Phantoms were born from the Gates, what do you mean by 'fall into despair'?" Aiko asked.
Johnny squeezes his hand on the fence harder as he begins to answer. "If a Gate falls into despair, the Phantom begins to manifest itself and brick apart the body then being born." He explained. "Like a caterpillar that turns into a butterfly then tries to brick of a cocoon or a chicken that is ready to be born by bricking an egg inside."
The girls' eyes widened in surprise and fear as they getting to understand what he means. "Then… then does this means…"
Before Johnny could answer it, a flash of memory appears…
Flashback:
An Eclipse. A rocky waterfront field with big red glowing cracks. People with purple cracks appear on their bodies. Screams and terror as they shattered like glass with purple flames, as new beings took their places. A younger Johnny Hōseki who saw it in front of his eyes got in one knee as dragonic wings coming out of his back.
"I…" He begins to lift his head and hand reaching to the eclipse. "I…!" He close his hand as a bright light was covered his body as the wings went back inside.
End of flashback.
Johnny turns around to face the girls. "The only thing that's left from a Gate…are nothing but ashes." Johnny hated said that last part even know is that true. The girls gasped as to what they have heard, they couldn't believed it, if a human who has magic potential and falling into despair; it give birth to a Phantom and then…die.
"T-T-Then does this m-means, that all five of us are also G-G-G-Gat-"
"No" Johnny interrupted and answered Hazuki. Hazuki was just about to ask if they were the Gates since they can use magic, but she was really frightening by the ideal of creating magical creatures by making people in despair
"Eh? Then why did that Phantom was chased us?" Aiko was confused by the certain respond of Johnny, yesterday they were chased by the Phantom Minotaur that day, if those Phantoms want to create more of them then why one was after them.
"Is quite simple Aiko, like I said you girls are witch apprentices; witches cannot give birth to new Phantoms and that goes for the non-Gate apprentices too." He explained logically. "So the Phantoms have mistaken you all for Gates."
"Really, that's a relief." Doremi said.
"But, there is one question; how were you able use magic Johnny?" Onpu asked this cause eyes on Johnny as the girls were wondering, is writing all over their faces 'how on earth can he use magic?'
"That's right!" Doremi snapped as she begins to ask random questions. "How were you able to do magic? Are you an apprentice too? Did you already pass all the exams? Or are you born as a full blooded wizard? Do you know Akatsuki by any chance?" The girls sweatdrop by that last part.
"Let's see, hmm… Well first of all; no I'm not an apprentice, no I didn't took any exams, no I'm not a full blooded and no I don't know who Akatsuki is." Johnny counts his fingers each time he answered. "And as for how I am able to use magic is…" Before he could answer it the school's bell ring which means is the end of recess. "I'll have to tell you girls another time, right now let's get back to class." He signed as he went directly to the door.
The girls were disappointed by this action but they let it out as they rushed to class.
As the day goes on, the five Ojamajos couldn't help thinking about what Johnny have told them, they were all wondering if the Phantoms and Gates were true. From what Johnny said got them shocked, they never knew that some humans have strong magic potential in them, if is true they'll have to ask Majo Rika or the Queen if they could pass the patisserie test, but what got them even more shocked is that humans are being targeted by monster who are trying to make them in despair and give birth to new monsters, each of them had their own thoughts about it: Doremi was shocked to hear that there are magical creatures out there that they will try make a person fall into despair so to give birth, Hazuki feels horrify that there are dangerous monsters out there and feeling more horrify just by thinking that there might be even more terrify looking monsters, Aiko was disgust by the plan of the Phantoms by trying make people in despair, Momoko was horrify too knowing there might be more of those monsters but seeing the fight of Wizard against the Phantom from yesterday makes her think that he might be a super hero.
Onpu who knows her childhood friend very well from long time ago knows that he tells the true, but she couldn't help but to feel that her best friend had…change somehow, she has that feeling ever since the day he came to class and reunite with him, she always has the feeling that he changed over the years not because he grew up, is because how he shows his face to the Phantom Minotaur a face of determination and how he fought, Onpu couldn't help but to feel worry for her friend for some reasons.
"Hey Pop-chan, do you want to come with us?" A first grade little boy asked to the girl he address.
The girl in question was a first grade little girl with shoulder length pink hair and resembles twochibi wings on the top of her head with a few smaller sections along the bottom of her head. She wears a sky blue shirt with puff sleeves, white lining and a very thin white string at her neck tied in a bow, a wine colored skirt, pale pink socks, and blue shoes. This little girl is Pop Harukaze, Doremi's little sister, also a witch apprentice. Pop had become a witch apprentice since she discovers her sister's and her friend's secret, with no choice Majo Rika decided to make her a apprentice too, Pop work and trained very hard to become a witch but the only problem is that she's an apprentice for two years, the reason: is because Pop had become an apprentice at the age of 4 and because of her age she couldn't stay awake at night for exams, although last year she took some exams only when she's wide awake, so her progress was getting little by little.
"No sorry," She said. "I have to go to Maho-Dou, bye-bye!" She waved with her bag on her back she ran off. Once she got out from the school gate unknown to her someone was watching her between the trees.
As Johnny walk away from school, today was really a hard day for him but before we could continued…
"Connect, please!" A magic circle appears thanks to the Connect Ring, Johnny pulls out his bicycle.
Johnny had making sure that no one else saw him using magic Majo Luna had always told him not to use magic in front of people but Johnny only use his magic in public when someone's in danger, once hopping into his bike he start pedaling. Now as we were saying it was really a hard day for him, it was really hard for him to tell his friends about the Gates and Phantoms, the look on their faces were telling him that they were shock about the monsters' goal and since their witch apprentice they were even more shock when they learn about the Gates, Johnny could tell that each one of them were very worried since yesterday at the sweet shop, he learns each of them that they were really care about other people…like him. And also the hardest part of his day: evade them and mostly Onpu, he could tell that they want to know how he was able to use magic, he wanting to tell but he couldn't have the courage to tell in school he could have told them after school…
He mentally slapping himself for not thinking about that sooner, he cursed his force of habit: leaving school without saying 'bye' or 'see you tomorrow' to his friends/classmates, a habit he always does at his old school. But still he couldn't have the courage, especially to his best friend, if he told her about his magic he doesn't know what kind of reaction he'll receive.
'TWEET!' 'TWEET!'
He snapped his mind out as he saw his familiar Garuda flying chirped at him. "You found one?" He asked, the bird nodded. "Lead the way!" He said as he pedals hard and fast with determination following the familiar.
Pop was running fast in terror, why she was running? Well get the answer when Pop accidently stripe and fell on the ground. 'Great, now I'm getting clumsy like my sister.' She thought to herself as she getting to get up but when she saw behind her she backs away still in ground with fright in her face, this afternoon she was supposed to go to Maho-Dou but someone was deciding to interfere, that someone was…a monster right in front of her.
The monster in question seems to be wearing a jaw-like helmet with flame designs that it looks like wild hair and a diamond-shape blue jewel on its forehead, it seems it doesn't have a face which is all black. The monster has silver armor on its chest and shoulders with red rectangulars designs on it, also has two rings with flame designs from each side of its chest, it also has a piece of metal with a blue jewel on it on the bottom of its chestplate armor. The rest of its body is black with flame-like vein designs. This monster is none other than a Phantom, Hellhound.
"I finally got you Gate." Hellhound said as he approaches her. Pop was trapped too scare to try to stand up to escape, when the Phantom continued to approaches her...
BAM!
A red and white bike hit Hellhound from the right side causing him to push back and fall, Pop was surprised not only the bike that hit the monster but the biker was a boy the same age as his sister.
Johnny got off of his bicycle and looked Hellhound. "I find you Mr. Phantom." He says.
"You, you're the ring-bearer Mahotsukai?" Hellhound asked.
"Mahotsukai?" Pop asks herself. 'He's a wizard?' She said in her head looking Johnny.
Johnny placed his right hand with the Driver On ring over the belt buckle. "Driver on, please!" Announced the Wizardriver transformed into silver and bulkier form.
Johnny then switched the position of the buckle into the left-handed position, and then the buckle sings. "Shabadoobi Touch to Henshin, Shabadoobi Touch to Henshin,"
Johnny puts the Flame ring on his left hand, "Henshin!" He stated flipping the glasses of the ring then it up in front of the belt.
"Flame, please!" Announced the Wizardriver Johnny raises his left arm to his side as a red magic circle appears and went pass him. "Hii Hii, Hii Hii Hii!"
Once the circle pass, Johnny has returned back into Wizard. "Saa... Showtime."
Pop's eyes and her mouth wide open in surprised.
Wizard runs towards Hellhound then he spin to kick him in the chest to push him only three feet away, then Hellhound strike a punch only to be missed as Wizard dodged it, Wizard then send to another kick to the Phantom's stomach, a punch in the chest and spine again to strike another kick, Hellhound trying to send a punch but Wizard grab his arm and kicking the Phantom's leg which puts him in one knee and Wizard kicks him in the chest which push him further to a park.
Angry, Hellhound summoned a sword as he charge at Wizard who's running straight at him, with a swing from the Phantom's sword Wizard dodged it, he reach to the chain of rings and took a ring he replace the from his right hand then place it with another and then he switch his buckle to right-handed position. Then he places his hand in front of the buckle.
"Connect, please!" Announced the buckle then a magic circle appears as Wizard pots his hand in it and pulls out the WizarSwordGun sword mode.
With a weapon in his hand, Wizard charge at Hellhound, the two of them swings their weapons at each other's, Hellhound swing his sword multiple times at the young mage but Wizard have prove himself that he has a great swordsman skills as he performs what may see as Arabian's or acrobat sword skills that each time Hellhound tries to chop or stamp he blocks them all.
As Wizard dodged another slash by back flipping he switch his weapon into gun mode, with a spinning motion he fires four silver bullets at the Phantom, when the bullets hit Hellhound sparks coming out of him. Angrier, Hellhound shots fire balls from his face at Wizard, the ring-mage manage to dodged the explosion from the fire balls as he jumps high and landed on top of pole, then Wizard lift his left hand to show that he now wears the Hurricane ring, by switching the buckle to left-handed position he place his hand in front of it.
"Hurricane, please!" Announced the buckle as Wizard jumps and the green magic circle appears. "Fuu! Fuu! Fuu Fuu Fuu Fuu!"
Once Wizard had pass through the magic circle he change into Hurricane Style with green wind around him, and thanks to the wind he fall gently but he didn't touch the ground as he is merely just floating, with the change done he turns his weapon back into sword mode and he floats away straight to Hellhound.
Hellhound who's ready to slash him with his sword but got receive a slash from Wizard, thanks to the element he use, Wizard flies and slash at Hellhound really fast by doing zigzags like he use to against Minotaur, every time Wizard slash Hellhound green magic circles appears and he lifting the Phantom high in the air. With the last slash Hellhound fell to the ground and Wizard landed to the ground gently thanks to the wind.
Seeing the Phantom getting up, Wizard puts another to his right hand, switching the hand position and places it in front. "Big, please!" As that said Wizard took his hand to his right to make a magic circle appear and as his hand went pass through the circle his arm becomes over-size gigantic.
Pop who watching the fight from the distance saw his arm becomes huge in surprised.
Hellhound who had recovered from the slashes and fall saw the giant arm, before he could make a move Wizard swings his gigantic arm with fist closed as he hit the Phantom real hard which send him to a distant building and hits it. As he cancels his spell once he saw Hellhound fell from the building and landed on the street, with the Style he has on he use the wind to fly away, once he landed he saw that the Phantom was nowhere to be found, he turns around to see every directions, with disappointed in the body language the same green magic circle comes up and stripe his suit leaving green fragments before disappeared as Johnny came back to normal.
"He got away." He said frowned.
Pop walk out the park after seeing the mage flies away to the direction where the monster was send but she only saw the same boy that saved her and transformed into that suit, today she has the crazy afternoon she ever have: first she was chasing by a monster, then a boy who rides a bike saved her, then she was wondering if he's a wizard but got her answer when he suit up with a magic circle, then he fights the monster using spells to help him, just what on earth was going on here? She really is wondering if he's a wizard after hearing the monster said, sure she saw everything; she saw the boy using a ring to turn his belt into bigger and bulkier version then using another ring which turns him into that suit and got bigger like an adult-size then she saw him using another ring to make appear a magic circle which he pulls out a weapon after he use another ring to turn his suit into green version with triangle designs and flies away, and lastly he use a ring that turns his arm into a GIGANTIC version. All of that made Pop really surprising.
Johnny turns his head looking at the park and saw the little girl he saved. "No doubt she's a Gate" He said to himself, people who are being attack by Phantoms are Gates and that's their only targets.
As he walks straight to Pop and once he stops he place his hands to his knees and bend his back to get her high and addresses her. "You're okay there." Pop doesn't know how to respond as she only nodded.
"That's great." He said with a smile feeling happy to know the little girl is okay, Pop couldn't help but blushing as she saw that he has pretty blue eyes. "There's something you need to know about, but before that let me treat you to some donuts."
"Yoo-hoo Johnny-kun!" Greeted by a strange person inside of a pink cart, the person in question was hard to tell if it is a man or a woman, he/she has a masculine face and feminine hair, wearing a white t-shirt, white pants and a pink apron with 'HUNGRY DONUT' writing on. This person is the manager of the little donut cart he/she owns, The Hungry Donut, the cart where Johnny will always gets his plain-sugar donuts since the day he moved in Misora. "I have made a new recipe: Seven Color Donut!" He/she said showing a bunch of donuts which shows they have seven color sprinkles in them.
"Oh, this looks good," Johnny said as he examinant the new recipe. "I'll take one and one plain-sugar."
"Huh? You're going to take the same old as well with it?" He/she asked in confused.
"The colory donut is not for me," Johnny turns himself to show and point at Pop sitting on a chair in front of the little table. "Is for her."
The Manager was deadpanned by this and nearly facefault. "Hai, hai, I'll make your order." Manager said with an annoyance tone, he/she held up two plats in hands with donut in each on it as he/she gives them to Johnny. "Here you go." Manager said with a more cheerful tone.
"Thank you." As Johnny paid he sit on a chair next to Pop as he place the two plates on the table. "Here you go." Johnny took his plain sugar donut and took a bite on it, enjoying the sweet taste.
"Ano…" Pop begins to speak as she picks up her colorful donut, Johnny seems to take notice of it. "If I get this straight: I'm a Gate and those monsters are coming after me?" Johnny nodded at that. On their way to the hungry donut's cart Johnny had explained everything to the little apprentice about the whole situation while walking.
Pop took a bite on her donut and enjoying the sweet flavor as she continued. "Also, you're a Mahotsukai and your job is to protect the Gates' hope."
"That's right," Answered Johnny as he finishes his donut.
"But there's one thing that I don't get it: what is a Gate?" Pop asked as she took another bite.
"A Gate is a human with strong magic potential in them." Johnny answered.
Pop's eyes widening. "There are humans that could have magic powers?!" Pop said in shock.
"That's right," Johnny nodded. "but just because you have magic potential doesn't mean you could actually use magic." He said as he took a sip from his drink.
"Well, actually, to tell you the truth…"
"That's ridiculers, Phantoms don't exist." Majo Rika said.
Right now, the witch apprentices were currently in the sweet shop with their uniforms on, today at school they have their answers of yesterday even and the explanations of it from Johnny, they have the most shocked day they had, still they didn't got their answer of how Johnny could use magic. But right now they have asked Majo Rika if she knew about the Phantoms, unfortunately she seems to deny their existence.
"Huh? But how could you say that?" Doremi said in confuse.
"And how you'll know if they don't exist?" Hazuki asked.
"Because, Phantoms are just imaginary monsters to scare off little witches," Majo Rika explained. "It was use to tell a story of Phantoms to the children and scare them in order to teach them how to behave themselves, and nobody had been use it for 300 years ago since then."
Aiko narrowed her eyes. "But if nobody haven't using that story in ages,"
"Then how do you explain at why we asked you that?" Momoko said, now that hit Majo Rika in the head, if the story of Phantoms was use from 300 years ago how in the world did the five fifth-graders witch apprentices knows about the Phantom.
"Uh…ugn…well…ano…" Majo Rika tries her best to find an answer to that. "Now way a minute! Where did you girls heard about it?"
Lala float besides the witch frog. "I am also curious about that."
Onpu was the first to speak. "Well, you see-"
DING-DING!
"I'm here!" A voice interrupt as the group recognizes the source of that voice, they turn their heads to see none other than Pop but this time with a new comer they all (except for Majo Rika and Lala) recognize…
"JOHNNY!" The five girls cried out. They didn't expecting to see the young mage here at the sweet shop again or companying the little apprentice.
"'Sup" The boy give them a salute but confuse seeing their reaction. "Something wrong?"
"W-we didn't expecting for you to come back to the shop!" Doremi said.
"But more importantly," Akio looking at the youngest apprentice. "What are you doing with him, Pop-chan?"
"Well you girls wouldn't believe it, this evening I was being chase by a monster!" Pop said.
"Huh? A monster?" Doremi said not believing it. "Really, Pop, are you sure it isn't Kimitaka-kun and his friends dressing up as a monster."
"Is the truth Onee-chan!" Pop snapped then turn away to Johnny. "Tell them, Onii-chan."
"Girls…" Johnny said in serious looking at the five apprentices. "is the truth, she really was chase by a monster, but not any monster…a Phantom." This earns gasps from the girls in shock.
"A P-P-Phantom!" Doremi said in tremble.
"Phantom Don't Exist!" A voice snapped as they turn their heads to the corner which there was (Majo Rika) something that quickly hid itself.
Then Johnny turn his head to face them, no doubt they are very nervous if people sees a Witch Frog but there's one thing these girls doesn't know is that he already knew one Witch Frog. The girls turn their heads slowly making rusty sounds as they are nervous by what the boy saw, and they even forgot that he's a mage. "Your Witch Frog mentor I'm presume," Johnny said with a teasing smile which causes the girls to flinch, they really do forget he's a mage. "You know if she keeps yelling like that she'll attracts attention, and she might end up in a circus." He couldn't help himself as he try to hold his laugh seeing the girls' faces.
Elsewhere in the city, two familiar figures are standing on top of the tall as they waiting for someone. Phoenix was looking at the city having thoughts of wanted to destroy it and as for Medusa, she sit at the staircase with arm crossed, then she began to speak. "Having difficult to make a little girl to despair, Hellhound?"
Coming out from his hiding place, Hellhound walk through them before he stops and bowed. Phoenix turnaround from his viewed as he look at Hellhound with disappoint in his face. "Come on, is it really that hard to make ONE little girl to fall in despair?"
"My apologies, Phoenix-sama, Medusa-sama." Hellhound apologized. "When I heard that a mage was actually a child, I didn't expecting that he could be that powerful. Was that child really the one who defeated the other Phantoms?" At first Hellhound was having doubts that a mere child was actually a mage that he was burden to all the Phantoms, but after having a battle with him, he was very capable of using magic and an excellent fighter for his age.
"Like the other fours; the answer is yes." Phoenix sighed as it was the fifth times the Phantoms have asked.
Medusa lifts herself up as she begins to walk. "A child he may be, but he is very capable of." Medusa said as she looks at Hellhound. "Don't let your guard down creating more Phantoms is our top priority."
"Hai." Hellhound understood as begin to walk away, but…
"Hellhound," Medusa called as she gains his attention. "If the mage is really a nuisance to you, use these." She gives Hellhound couples of gray stones.
"Thank you." Hellhound bowed to them and begins to leave.
"Geez, did you girls forget that I was a mage?" Johnny chuckle. Back at the sweet shop, Johnny and the girls were all gather in one table with Majo Rika and Lala, after the whole situation that happens the Witch Frog and the fairy had came out from their hiding place after being convinced by Johnny that he knows the existent of the witches and telling them that he can use magic as well.
The girls were all blushed in embarrassment as they remember a few minutes ago their reactions. "Well…we're not use to see other people using magic…" Hazuki said.
"But I'm quite curious about," Majo Rika said gained their attention as she focused on the boy. "Like what are you doing here in the human world, and mostly I'm surprise there are more young wizards in the Wizard World." Of what Majo Rika referent was the FLAT-4 the four young wizard boys and since the wizards' land was in withering since years and having less population, it was a surprise to see another young wizard boy but the question is; why haven't he joined the FLAT-4 and helping them to kidnapped Hana.
"Huh?" Johnny blinked. "Wizard World? What's that?"
"EHHHHHHHH!?" Majo Rika cried in surprised. "You don't know what it is!?"
"No, no." Johnny said as he waved his hand. "I don't know what it is."
"OH! That's right! At school you said you aren't an apprentice and neither a full-blooded."Hazuki said.
"EH!? You aren't a full-blooded wizard." Majo Rika said in shocked.
"Well no, technically I'm a mage." Johnny answered her while holding his chuckle seeing the expression on her face.
"Well that's what we were talking about."
Johnny waving off his hand. "No, no, no that's not what I'm mean. Have you girls ever had English lesson? Because the term of Mahotsukai could also mean wizard and mage, therefore I'm a mage." Explained Johnny, while Momoko understand it the girls not so much as they still learn English.
"So…you're a mage?" Asked Doremi as she scratches her head. "Is alright to use 'Mahotsukai' if you don't want to say it in English. And witches and mages are different." Johnny responded her.
"Oh, okay, but what exactly is the difference between mages and witches?" Asked Doremi.
Smile Johnny explains. "Well the differences are: witches are born with magic in them and using crystal balls to cast spells, same goes to the apprentices when they became real witches. And as for the mages…they are still humans who had gain magical powers, therefore I'm still a human but with magic powers." The girls and the frog and fairy gasped in shocked by the information.
"So wait a minute…are you trying to tell us that there are humans who could actually gain magical powers but without being witches?" Aiko having hard time to believe that there are humans who could actually gain magic powers and thinking that they do not took any witch exams.
"That's right, and I don't need a Pollon or a crystal ball to cast some spells."
Just then Pop remembers something. "That's right, you were using rings!" Pop point out.
"Oh, that's right, we saw you using rings during your fight with that one-horn monster!" Momoko remembers seeing him using rings during the battle.
"Well, while I don't use a crystal ball doesn't mean I can use magic at will...or saying magic words Chinchin Pui Pui!" Johnny points his finger as if he tries to cast a spell. "No, in order to use my magic I wear a belt buckle," Johnny took off his chair and point at the buckle he wore to show them. "By wearing it I can use my magic by using one of my Magic Rings, each of my rings has a spell on their own." He lift his right hand the Connect Ring and place it in front of the buckle which both objects glows.
"Connect, please" The buckle announce as the red magic circle appears on Johnny's side which surprised the witnesses, Johnny put his hand inside the circle. Hazuki feels a poke on her shoulder as she turns to see a hand sticking out from the magic circle in the air and waved at her, she stare at the hand for few seconds until she freaks out seeing a floating hand.
"Sorry Hazuki I didn't mean to freak you out." Johnny chuckle as he pull his hand out from the circle, he wanted to surprised not scared.
"The rings you have has a spell on their own?" Onpu asked her childhood friend as she helps Hazuki to stand up with Momoko's aide.
"That's right," he said as he digs to his pocket, he pull out three more rings and place them on the table, there was the Defend Ring, Bind Ring and a ring with a sleepy dragon blowing bubbles from its nose. "The ring I just used allows me opens Magical Portals between two different places, as for those three: this one allows me to create a barrier to defend myself." He explained showing the Defend Ring, and then he picks the next ring. "This one allows me to summon mystical chains to hold out my target." And then he picks the last ring. "And this one is…well funny story, it allows to put someone to sleep when wears it." He chuckled, he remember three days ago before he could starts school he was testing the new ring seeing if it could put people to sleep but realize that he put myself to sleep and so he has to use it by putting it to someone else's finger before casting.
"A ring that put yourself to sleep?..." Doremi was deadpanned by that.
"Those rings you have look very beautiful!" Hazuki said in admiration.
"Thank you!"
"But what about the ones you transformed?" Pop asked remembering that she saw him using other rings to change outfits.
"Oh those," Johnny pull out his Flame Ring with the goggles in place. "Some of those are my Transformation Rings,"
"And each of them has different element." Onpu point out remembering hearing Minotaur saying changing do different elements.
"That's right," Nodded Johnny not bothering asking how she knows as he continues to explain. "I got four of them: fire, water, wind and earth. The one I'm holding is the fire one, the Flame Ring. By using one of those allows me to changes into different forms called Styles and using the elements they posses."
"Cool!" Excited Momoko hearing the name, 'Style' is probably the coolest name ever for him since he looks a superhero.
"But I'm quiet curious," Everyone now looking at Majo Rika with a tone as she look at Johnny with suspicious. "There are some few things that we still need to know."
"Majo Rika, don't you know that you're too demanding!" Onpu said believing that she suspects her friend.
"Is alright Onpu, is not like is the first time someone's asking me some question." Johnny reassured to her as he letting the frog to continue. "Now, ask me anything you want to know." He smirks as he ready to answer whatever question she'll give.
Majo Rika eyed on him in confuse as she start. "Now, I like to know how did you get your magical powers?" That question made Johnny's smirk vanish from his face. "You did say there are humans who could gain magic, just exactly where or how did you get it?" Majo Rika asked. "Also, where did you get that belt and those rings? Did you perhaps have a mentor? Or are you a half-witch?"
Johnny could say he's not a half-witch and telling her how he got the rings, but…he doesn't want to tell her or his friends how he got his magic. Many people asking him how did he get his magical powers and many times Johnny avoid that same questions over and over and over, it is a burden to him, a part of him says to tell them the truth but only thing that stops him is…that day, from four years ago, the eclipse, the ritual.

Hearing the lyrics and everyone were all surprise by that Johnny reaches to his jacket's pocket and picks out his cell phone that still plays the tone.
"Is that tone Supernova from Tetra-Fang?" Momoko asked in delight.
"Yeah, my favorite band and this song is the best." Answered Johnny surprised to know she knows the band.
"No, is the Innocent Trap's the best!"
Seeing that he doesn't want to argue, he flipping his phone and reached to his ear. "Hello?" After 5 seconds on the phone… "Nani!"
"The Phantoms are attacking at the downtown!" Informing Koyomi on the phone. "They probably found another Gate!"
Hearing it, Johnny gets off of his chair and he ran outside, seeing his action in shock the girls also ran outside. Once he is outside and on the road he places his hand to his belt.
"Connect, please!"
A magical portal appears and he reaches it to pull out his bicycle, when the girls saw him using his magic to pull out his bike they were confuse and mostly worried.
Onpu was the first to ask. "Johnny! Just what's going on? Did something happens?"
Johnny hop on his bike and he addresses her. "All I know is that I want you and the others to stay and keep an eye on Pop!" He has his right hand with a new ring with an image of a young dragon growing into an older dragon, he place it on his belt as it glows.
"Growing up, please!" Announced the belt. He raises his hand as magic circles came down one by one wrapping him, then to the girls' shock Johnny was growing and so as his bike as it becomes more like a motorcycle. As the last circle came down Johnny looks now taller or should I say looks now an adult, he has now a mature body with his face become more mature and handsomely and hair a little bit longer, he still wears his clothes but now as adult size and lastly his bicycle did change into a motorcycle. The machine was encased in a white body with gold accents, the front sported red gemstone where the headlight should be with a pair of gems mounting the sides. When the girls saw him and his bike grew they were surprised and seeing how handsomely he is which Doremi has now hearts on her eyes. With that done, Johnny put a helmet on his head and started revved up as he went. The girls looking the road that their friend took with worries.
Just like what Koyomi had just said the Ghouls are attacking at Misora downtown. The people run in panic as the Ghouls marching towards them, they have cause many damages to the store, private proprieties, restaurants' and cafes' outside tables and chair, etc. Just then, a sound of a motorcycle is heard as Johnny roads with his machine straight to the Ghouls knocking them all, Johnny hits the breaks and looking at the Ghouls who are struggling to stand up.
"If you're looking for the little miss, I'm afraid she's somewhere safe with my new friends." He said as he gets off the bike and took off the helmet. Not only that his appearance change but his voice as well sounded more mature and in an attractive way. He places his right hand to his belt.
"Driver on, please!" The Wizardriver changing into its silver and bulky form. Then Johnny activated the left position. "Shabadoobi Touch to Henshin, Shabadoobi Touch to Henshin,Shabadoobi Touch to Henshin, Shabadoobi Touch to Henshin,"
As the buckle chant, Johnny lifts his left hand with the Flame Ring. "Henshin" He flips the glasses before doing a pose and places his hand on the belt.
"Flame, please!" Announced the Wizardriver Johnny raises his left arm to his side as a red magic circle appears and went pass him. "Hii Hii, Hii Hii Hii!"
Once the circle pass, Johnny once again transformed into Wizard. "Saa... Showtime." He declared as he lifts his left hand showing his ring.
Once the Ghouls got to their grounds they engage to battle with their spears charging at him. Wizard take a stand as he ready for them, the first Ghoul swing his spear at him but Wizard dodged then he spin to kick him in the head, then two more were trying to stab him but Wizard manage to slip as he grabs their weapons then with enough force he push them away to the ground. Wizard then charge at the Ghouls with punches and kicks as they fell to the ground. The Ghouls gather themselves with each of their arm looking like firearms, they took aim and fires fire balls but Wizard saw this he grab his robe and actually stretched long enough to cover a person, as the fire balls hits it proves that it doesn't do any harm, Wizard let go of his robe as he runs straight at the rock creatures.
After kicking and punching some Ghouls, Wizard finds himself being surrounding by the Ghouls but he isn't in a pinch as he took a stand. "Oooooooooh…" With that say he swings his leg with his foot flared with a concentration of red fiery magic aura hitting the first Ghoul in the head, he swing his other foot with the same fiery aura to hit another Ghoul, he continue to kick the Ghouls one by one until all of them are on ground with magic circles appearing on their bodies before they explode in the haze of flames.
With that done, Wizard walks around looking if anybody got hurt or not. "Urrg…gurrl" He got his answer by hearing like someone who got hurt, he jogged straight to the source as he found a man lying on the wall, he was in his late thirties with brown hair, wearing glasses, he wears a white button shirt and black pants.
Wizard approached him putting a hand on his shoulder to wake him up. "Sir? Sir, are you ok?" The man opens his eyes as he saw the masked stranger.
"Who…who are you?" He asked.
"Don't worry sir, I am the mage of hope." He responds.
That's it, sorry that it took so long I been busy and out of inspiration.
Do does who want to know: I must remind you all that Johnny is 11 and in fifth grade, also this story took place in the season 3 Motto and I'll be writing chapters of episodes of that series. And to does who were expecting Johnny to tell his friends about the eclipse and his inner Phantom well sorry he won't be able to tell since he was traumatized by that day.
