Chapter 2

The next time I woke up it was darker than normal so I got out of bed and went outside to get some fresh air. As I went out I saw that it was night time so I just went to the side of the ship to clear my thoughts. After awhile I felt a hand touch my shoulder and when I turned around I saw it was Jason "Hey Nico what are you doing out so late?" he asked me "Well I was asleep this whole time so I thought I'd get some fresh air…. Well salty sea air anyway" I told him and he laughed at that "Yeah that's what I had to live with for the past two years so you tend to get used to it after awhile" he told me and I look down to the sea "Jason….do you mind If I ask you something?" I ask him "sure Nico what's up?" he asked me "Why did you live your whole life behind to be a pirate? " I ask looking at him and he looked down "figured you would ask me that sooner or later but I was hoping for the later" he told me and I just looked at him "OK I'll tell you the short story ok?" He told me and I nodded.

He sign and then began to talk "Ok it happen two years ago, just a few weeks before I went missing I was walking towards the docks just making sure nothing bad was happing to our people but nothing happen until one day I saw someone that would change my life" Jason told me "The sea king?" I ask and he shook his head "No it wasn't the sea king though I must admit it took awhile for him to get use to me" he said laughing and I couldn't help but chuckle "So anyway as I was saying the person who really change me was Leo" he told me and I looked at him in confusion "Leo the ships mechanic Leo that Leo?" I asked him and he nodded "yep that Leo this might sound stupid but when I first saw him he was, he was" he started saying "He was…?"I ask "Well let's just say I keep calling him Beautiful I mean his brown eyes, Brown curly hair and just the way he was crazy, weird, annoying at points, stubborn…" "Ok please get to the point" I said and he laughed "Yah sorry about that, anyway when we first meet he had no idea who I was but I wasn't ready to tell him who I was so we just talk for awhile until he said he had to go but I asked him if he would stay for a little bit longer and he wasn't really sure but the he said ok so we talked until I kissed him and he kissed back, then after that he asked me to come with him and that's where I had to tell him who I was and of course he was shocked" Jason said "Of course" I said "Yet he said he didn't care he still wanted me to go with him" Jason said "After one day?" I asked then he looked confused until he got it "Oh no it was a week, I did tell you I was going to give you the short version right?" he asked and I saw he had a point so I let him continue "But I still didn't know so he said they were going to leave the next day so I had until the afternoon so I just went back home and decided either live my life as I've always known it or go and explore with someone I love and it wasn't a hard decision" Jason and I had to agree with that I mean if I had to chose with my life I would have did the same thing Jason chose… Well the only thing was I didn't really love anyone here 'yeah right you obviously like the captain' a voice in my head said "oh shut up" I said "What?" Jason asked "Oh nothing just talking to myself, anyway what else?" I asked and he looked at me for a minute before continuing "So I went to the pear were I saw Leo looking down then I went to he and I saw him smiling saying he was worried I wasn't going to show up and then we went into this whole arguing talking thing… Anyway then he took me to the ship were I meet everyone: Annabeth, Jake, Clarisse, Chris, the Stoll's etc. Then I meet the captain and let's just say he was tuff on new comers… either that or it's just me" Jason said and I laughed at that.

That when I heard someone calling out "Coming Leo!" Jason shouted back "Well Nico got a go but I hope you can get used to this" He said before walking away. After a few minutes I went back to the room and laid down and I started thinking about what Jason said about that and wondering what would happen if I stayed here. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a knock on the door "Um come in" I said and the person did and I was shocked that the person who knocked was the caption "Um caption why did you knock this is your room?" I asked and he looked at me "Well I wanted to give you your privacy" he said and I nodded then he went to his desk and was writing something down before taking of his hat and saw he had black hair which went with his eyes perfectly then he started taking off his equipment until he was left with his shirt and pants and he was hansom 'yeah your totally not in love with him' the voice in my head said again "didn't I tell you to shut up" I whispered but the Caption still heard me "no you never told me to shut up oh though I wasn't talking" he said looking at me and I couldn't help but blush "Um no I didn't mean you I was talking to myself" I said looking down but I still saw him raise and eye but he shrugged and when back to writing and I signed 'Oh great now he must think I a weirdo' I said in my head 'well aren't you a weirdo' the voice in my head said 'well if you had shut up like I told you this wouldn't have happened' I said back and all I heard was laughing 'you really think he'll like you, your nothing but a prince that doesn't know how to do anything but mess up and fallow the rules oh and specking of rules your mother will be so proud to hear her son is on a pirate ship' the voice said and I felt like crying but I wasn't going to let this voice get the best of me 'I'll show you' I said before looking at the caption that really wasn't paying attention to me "Um caption…" I said "hmm" she said "Um I was wondering if you could teach me how to sword fight" I asked and I regretted it immediately because he slammed his pen down and gave me a glare that looked like a wolf that was about to kill you if you made one more move "you want me to teach you how to sword fight me a pirate?" he asked and I gulped but nodded.

He looked at me for a minute before signing "Fine but we'll do it on land when the others are off getting supplies, got it?" he asked and I nodded before he went back to his work and I signed at sat back down. After a few minutes the caption left to make a final count of everything and everyone and I was left to my thoughts 'why does he look like he wants' to kill me?' I asked myself 'maybe because he dose' the voice said 'why you how are you anyway?' I asked and all the voice said was 'you' it said still laughing 'if you're me then why are you being so mean to me?' I asked but he still laughed 'because I'm giving you the truth you will never be able to bet him he has more training then you he'll cream you' he said laughing and I had to agree he has had more training but he'll go easy on a beginner, right?' I asked 'nope he's the sea king not the sea princess now you on the other hand can be known as the ghost princess that will die an embarrassing death' he said 'but he was kind to me earlier' I said 'maybe he realized that you're not worth being nice to' he said and that's when I cracked and I cried and laid down with my face to the pillow 'I-I'll show you and him that I am worth it' I promised but all I heard was laughing and I continued to cry and before I blacked out I felt something on my head and heard two words "I'm sorry"
