The next couple were two countries who were married for quite a while but have also been engaged for more then 10 years. Germany and Italy got married not long after the day that Brussels was burried.
They decided to do it since she would have wanted them to get married in the first place since the propsal was even before the Belgain got in a relationship and when she nearly begged them to do so they agreed to finally get married after being engaged for over 10 years.
unfortonatly that happened a few days before the said Belgian was reported missing. It came as a shock to both of them that the girl who had looked forward to it for years would just leave like that. Both of them even though Italy was not the person to read the mood knew that she hadn't gone out to never return to the house.
It was soon clear to them that the Belgian girl was abducted when she was doing chores around the house like Vash thought when he started looking for her. Since there was no evedence that there had been a fight it sounded to that as the Belgian went outside to do something and the one who abducted her waited outside to get her.
There are a lot of talking pet among the nation but unfortunatly for everyone none of Brussels pets or Switzerland goats had the ability do so. Even if they did it would not have been usefull evendence to get a murder.
Who would believe the testemony from a goat of a cat anyway but it could have helped the investigation of two of the murders: Brussels and Denmark's death or disapearance should have been explained by they pets if they would have had the abillty to do so.
Hantamago was at Sweden's place when Denmark dissappeared. Unfortunately the dog couldn't bark that loud and so even if the dog had seen who had abducted one of his owners.
We know that Denmark was abducted since there were foot prints well only the tip of them unfortunatly but none of the shoes found in the house matched the shoes of the two living in the house and Mathais was found without wearing shoes so it couldn't have been his.
They checked the prints or what they had from it and didn't found anything that could tell them where the owner of the shoes could have been before so they assumed that these were cleaned before they were used or new shoes.
Well inspectors do believe that the shoes were used to kidnap Matthias were indeed new shoes since there were no signs that the shoes had been worn before int the part of the print that was there.
Matthias was the only nation they could officially determ that he was aducted. The others were assumed that they were abducted.
Sorry that I changed the subject . I just think that you guys need to know about how we were slowly getting very small piece of the puzzle of this cruel mystery that took the likes of those who where dear to us. It kept a lot of us nations awake at night since who knows who could be the next victim.
They all feared that they would be the next one to be adbucted and killed. No one wanted to cause that pain to the one they loved with everything they had. They didn't want to give them the pain that the others had when their lovers dissapeared.
There were two new ways of putting things that were used by the nations. The first one was . 'To find the capitals head' Was used to express that you find a very sensative nerve or thing that should not be mention. This came from the discovery of the capital of Belgium's head years earlier.
The second one was 'To hang a death on the noose.' meaning that you either ruined the mood or overkilled something like a joke or something. This came from Arthurs death since the male was murdered and than hung on a noose
So like I mentioned, Matthias was the only one who was stated as person who was abducted. The others where believeed by some that they just had enough of their lovers and just ran of to escape whatever the other did to them.
To most of us a very weird theorie to believe and no nation believed it though. Why would someone who confessed that he loved someone with his whole heart and dissapear lesser than 24 hours after confession?
Why would a girl who would give everything to keep her boyfriend safe and would do anything to be with him till the day she would take her last breath run away on the moment he wanted to propose to her?
My would a man who was a crazy about his lover , Who wanted to do everything to make him smile. Someone who believe that he could be the sun in his lovers life run away without any reason?
This are only a few examples for people who proved that the theory so many people believed was not true. I will most likely give more examples of these when I tell you about the others. But that will still take a while though before I reach that point .
Arthur was still believed by many people that he in fact had committed suicide though no nation has ever believe the theory that he would have made an end to his life for real. His attempt to commit suicide showed us that he never was able to make and end to his own life.
Though people believed that he wasn't killed and didn't belong to be in the list whit the others who were mudered. Since his death looked more to a suicide to them than that he was killed.
There was evidence enough that the Brit was murdered but they still didn't want to believe us. That the boy was shot and stabbed wasn't even enough. One of the those was the marks on the Brits neck were not from a rope but from human hands. People said that the Brit would have tried to choke himself but the marks indicated that he was chokes from behind. What would have been impossible for him to do so.
Still it wasn't enough.
After Germany and Italy's wedding which was a sober one. It was a surprised but it also wasn't. It was a surprise to many people would have been how sober the style of the of the wedding was, sice that they believe that it would have been different from other weddings. Just by the fact that it was Italy's wedding. But most people forget something though..
The Italian was a close friend to Switzerland and Brussels, but also friends with America and Denmark It was hard for him to be happy when he knew most of them where death.
Germany fulled understood why his lover was so down on a day like that. He knew that his husband was close to them so it was more than normal that the caring Italian was so sad that his friends coudn't be there.
Though he had visited their graves and Switzerland in the hospital the day after.
Well I can't really say much about the state that the Swiss was in. He was still in a coma and the doctor where agruing with what the Swis based on what they knew from his injuries and what state he was in now. They said it would be usefull for the family to know what they could expect if the Swiss would wake up.
I didn't really mind them trying to help the family to understand what they could expect when there loved one would wake up, since he was the only one who had enough luck to survive the attack on him.
Well Liechtenstein told me that she has a split feeling about the whole situation. At one side she was very happy that her big brother which she loved so much was still alive but on the others side she knew that he would end up losing some memory but he would most likely remember his girlfriends death and she didn't wanted to see him in that pain again or have to tell him to whole sorry about her death.
Well the doctors had told her that her brother would end up losing some memory for sure but no one could tell her how much . She and many of the other nations hoped that he wouldn't remember that he had found her head.
Well to return to what I was telling before. Italy or Veniciano Vargas dissapeared during the wedding who had noticed that his husband wasn't at the party but decided to not tell any of the guests since he didn't really know where the italian went of didn't want to scare everyone.
The German guessed that he went outside and needed some time away from the noisy nations in the room. Germany didn't really lose a friend or family memeber byt he understood his husband was going trough.
He was kinda close to the ealry mudered Dane thanks to the fact that the Dane was drinking buddy of his older brother.
His brother had been devasted of the murder on his friends , not abnormal that he would have been. He was close to the three of the five who had met their ends way to early.
He also was sad about the deaths of the others even though he didn't show it that much as the others did. It wasn't really in his nature to do so and that hadn't changed that much over the past 30 years. Though the fiifth death was something that stayed with him for years.
He realised that everyone could be a victim of the murder and that maybe one day he would meet the same fate as the others did. Gertmany told me that he feared for that to happen or that it would happen to the one he loved the most and who ment the world to him.
He didn't want Italy to get hurt , the Italian meant to much for him to llet that happen. He would even sacrifice himself to protect the one he love more than his own country which his life depened on.
Not that he was the first to tell everyone that their love meant more than the country they depended on to survive. They said they would die for their love if it was needed one day.
I honestlly never knew what to think of it since i dind't really felt the need to die for someone but it hink it's because they loved each other so much that they just couldn't imange a life without their love.
That is something I understand more than that you would die for the one you love but then again who am I to say about loving someone and be able to put them before yourself if I was and still am single.
So I can't really say that I would have done the same for someone like they said they would do for the one they loved the most. I think if they had the chance to stop the killer from killing there love that they would have given their life to do so.
Since most of them were not the easiest to deal with but their loved staid closed to them.
America and England were a couple with rather..oppeside characther but they had simalair traiths. Both of them had or still have a huge ego. England had one back in the days that
People will curse me for saying that when they heard that I said such a thing. he was the British Empire. America had a big ego till the day he died with him being the United States of America. He was a very important country after all.
The difference between them is their past life. America was raised to be a happy boy with the least hurt in his childhood. England in his case hadn't that much luck than than America since growing up in the middle ages wasn't the most fun thing.
The story starts with the boy losing his parents at a very young age. His brothers had blamed the youngest of them that the death of their mother. It didn't make sense since his mother died when he was three years old.
But still since he was the youngest he was blamed for it. Of course blaming someone else is always easy when you are left in the dark about what had really happened to their parents since back than no one had an idea what could have cause it and I think no one really cared back in the days.
Like England and America , Sweden and Denmark where oppeside characthers only there aren't really similarities in character.
Denmark was a cheerfull man and extrovert, Sweden was a more quiet and really introvert. The reason why the Swede was so introvert was never revailed to public and we are once again left in the dark about the past of countries.
Only one nation who had been murdered has told every single detail of her life. She had written a book about it but never got the chance to publish the book. 'The suffering of a real life demon' is the title of the book.
How do I know this? Since the one who is planning to publish the book after her death told me the title of the book. Neither of us was surprised to read the title of the book since the girl had been called a demon over the years.
Brussels had written the book we believe two years before she died since the time that has been spend typing it, sometimes even qoutes out of book and articles that where in newspapers and on the internet were included.
She sure had spended alot of time on wrinting this. I think it was something that het therapist told her to do to get over stuff and I think that she in the end desided to make a book of it.
It gives you a look on how a nation can review on what happened in the past but it also showed how one back in the days and even now can have dreams for how the future could have been.
Well I asked a few other nations to tell about their vision on the future and it facinates me that the vision that was in the book was the same as the others had told me.
They said that they wanted to live with the one they loved the most so that they maybe one day could have a family together.
I feel bad for them that never had the chance to do so. It was quite nice to see that those nations whoo didn't had the past that they would have hoped or dreamt for. They wanted that their live would change for the good and that they would made their loved ones very happy.
I personally think it is sweet people who had rough times stil had the feeling that they in the end stil could be happy and make others happy in the progress of doing that. It is something beautiful to have as a wish.
Switzerland was like the others and we don't know much about the Swiss past. One of the few things we did know is that he had been friends whit Austria when the were younger.
I don't know what went wrong between those two and the ones I asked either didn't know or didn't know the full story of what had happend between them. They had little info about it too, but they said that they remembered that it had something to do between their bosses that had lead to an argument between that was never solved.
The fact that I didn't know about it wasn't much of a surprise to the ones I asked to expain what happend. It think that it is because at the time that the two had the agrument Africa and Europe weren't really that close.
The thing the Swis and his had in common was that they were both close to the earlier mentioned Austrain but in the end grew to dislike the nation after. The girl had said that she disliked the other nation but she never said why.
From Vash's past we also know a few small things that his younger sister had told me a long time ago. It were rahter small thingd but it happened to give me sight who the to me rahter closed nation really was.
Liechtenstein told me that he indeed was very closed when he had saved her. He didn't seem to like or wanted to talk about himself at all. She said that he slowly opened up to her.
Lily said that if he had never had saved her or need to do so that he would have never been opened enough to tell the one he loved how he really felt towards her.
Though the confession came from the girl and not from him. He told her how much he loved her not long after the girl had confessed to him.
I always saw them as a very interesting couple since they seemed to come from two diffent worlds. They looked like strangers to each other one day and the other they loved each other.
I think that the same can be said about Germany and Italy though.
It's just that Germany and Italy were so different. They had very different characthers to begin with. The way they acted and how they came over to others nations made them look like aliens to each other.
But still they loved eachother dearly despite the differences between them.
Germany who could away find a way to get angry at the smaller male for many reason which I will get to later changed over the year. They grew closer and closer and fell in love in the end. Those two were inseparable.
I find it rahter fasucinating how the relationschips between humans and nations can change over the years. Since I don't really have family or much friend I inspect the relationschip that others have and I actually like to see how people who couldn't stand each other in the past can become friends later on in their lives.
It's something that keeps facinating me and I think it always will be since the way people reaction around each other and how they will get along will aways be different so I will never say that I have seen everything since it is impossible.
Because every human and nation are important because there is no one like them and if they aren't there anymore the earth has lost a very unique person. To me everyones life is important no matter where you are from, What you believe or who you like since I really like how people are different and I would never change it if I could.
It is ..well I can't really call it nice .. that is the fact that those relationschips can have huge influence on people but also on nations who take the pain of the lost of a good friend or family with them till centuries later. I know that since I have been in the same boat as the others with that. It sudden death of a boss of mine long ago was a shock to me and it took me a while to actually get over the death because I had become to close to him.
I could see that it was the same for the Italian who lost his first love when his country was disovled and died. Also with his friends who were murdered many years ago.
There were so many nations who could tell me about the reaction of the Italian when his first lover had died. Since it was a reaction that was very different from how the cheerfull Italian would act on a regular basis. So it stood out.
The ones who gave me the info I needed to put the pieces of the puzzle togehter were people who either lived with him over the many years that had passed or nations who were very close the Italian.
Unfortunatly for me a few who were close to the Italian were already dead since they were murder in the previous years. To me each of them held a part of the boys past and in the end they have kept it and took it with them in their grave.
So the main resorses were still alive, it was just that the ones that had died had a piece of the puzzle that I needed to get the whole picture of the Italian. Since they shared some memories to piece Feliciano Vargas' story together.
My first recourses was Feliciano's older brother: Lovino. Who was the first one to know that the German hadn't been able to find his husband but assumed that he just wanted time for himself.
Lovino told me that he found that rather odd since that his younger brother always let someone know were he went but like the German assume that he just couldn't take being in the the crowd of nation who bring back memories which he wanted to forget.
The more time that passed the more worried both of them grew and the more they were thinking that the Italian didn't not go outside to be alone. They started to believe that the Italain went missing but neither of them wanted to believe that Italy had gone missing right when they were so close.
He told me that he could see that the German was doing the same. Lovino understood why he was so worried and told me that he would have been the same if Spain happend to do the same since it would lead to his death since he would kill him.
Lovino helped with making sure that the other guest would not notice that no one really knew here Italy was. From what they told me it was a rahter difficult job to do since It was Germany and Italy's wedding and everyone wanted to congratulate the two.
In the end the two managed to prevent the others from knowing that the Italian was nowhere to we found. How they did it is something they didn't want to tell me since they did not want everyone to know every single lie they told the guest during that evening.
They said that they feel bad for telling all those lies but they told me that they did it for the guest who had fun for the first time in like 40 years.
They said that it was the first time in decades that they had seen a nation that used to smile so much smile again; They didn't want to ruin it since they both knew that moment like this would not occur often.
When Italy still hadn't returned by the next morning Germany decided to report the one he love the most missing. It was with pain in his heart that he did this. He had hoped that they would have been able to spend more than an hour as a married couple but fate had unfortunatly decided otherwhise.
Feliciano's older brother was shocked to hear that his little brother had been reaported missing. From what he had told me I could make a conlusion. Lovino didn't really know how to feel or how to react when his brother went missing.
The police was starting to lose interest in looking for them since they started to realise like some of the nations that looking for them right away would almost everytime result in them not finding the missing person at all and making it a fruitless effort.
This in one of the last cases which the police put everything they had to find the nations. They would give up in the end end though.
It's sad since we nations give everything and do everything to make sure all of our people are happy and safe and that is how they treat us when we actually need them.
At least that is my opinion about it.
Though the fact that they were starting to give up was a little understandable since most of the nations were indeed discovred many years later and if it were for the same killer that it would also happen to the ones who went missing now.
What is the point of looking for someone who you will not find no matter what effort you put in it and that they will be found many years later on a spot that had been searched a million times on?
Police were right though since searching for the Italian resulted in a fruitless effort to safe what allready had been gone.
It was hard foe the nations to get that one of the cheeriest nations had dissapeard right in front of their eyes. Most of them were angry or even furious at Germany because he hadn't told them that Italy had went missing during the party.
Even thought that Germany didn't know either that Italy had dissapeard and thought that the nation had gone outside to get peace and fresh air what didn't seem to be the case. One of them wanted to believe the German even though he was telling the truth to everyone.
Germany was really depressed after he heard that there wasn't any sign of the Italian or where he could have gone. The only thing they know is thanks to surveilance cameras which recorded the Italian leaving the building around 8PM in the evening.
Like with two earlier kidnapped nations it took serveral to find the missing boy's body.
The pond were Italy and his first love had kiss was made into a memorial spot to remember the dissapearance and possible death of the Italian. That time was also the time when people finally made spots to remember the earlier murder souls. The tree where England and America were found, The riverside where Denmark was murderd, a spot outside of the store where Sweden was murdered and in front of the building Brussels love the most.
Germany told other nations that he believed that no matter how hard he tried he would never be able to see Italy alive again since he had a feeling that there had allready come an end to the life of the smaller nation. This of course pissed the nations who were allready mad at him off more.
Italy's brother understood it though , so did I and a few others. We had come to the conclusion that Switzerland had made for himself many years ago too. They had both been trying to prepare themselves for as they would see or find them.
I tried to interview Austria and Hungary but both of them were to emotional during their interviews that for their sake I will not say as much out it like I did with my first mentioned resourse.
The were more the vioces who told me about the younger were with the victim while he grew up and saw him grow from a little boy to an adult man.
That is why I understand their reaction to the news of the one that they had seen grow being abdusted. I think that they also realised that he would not returns at all. Since they knew that a few did not return safe in a day.
The main thing I got out of the interviews with Austria and Hungary was that the Italian acted one time like the way he acted before he before abducted. It had happened before when he was younger.
They told me that he had been acting the same way when he had heard the news that Holy Rome had died. The person he first fell in love with. Holy Rome died in 1804.
He would act cheerfull around others but deep down inside he would feel very sad.
Same times he would show it but that were rather exclusive for some nations.
It must have been the fact that so many of his friends were dead and the others who were fearing for their lived that he showed it to his surroundings.
The 4 years after the Italian went missing the body of the 20 years old male was found on his memorail was no one else then Germany who got the honour or that is what the killer said in the typed letter next to the body, that he found him.
The letter said:
'Dear Ludwig,
I see that you have found your sweet husband who you barely could hold in your arms after you two promised to be with each other in good and in bad days and that you would protect each other. You broke your promise to him Germany. He forgives you though. He told me that as one of his last words. Why are you sad? He forgives you that you broke the promise. You should be happy.
Well as you can see you have the honour to find your beloved husband.'
It was cruek to say at least . It was not that he had wanted Feliciano to dissapear during the wedding party it just so happpend to be that way. I can't stand the fact that he laughs with the fact that he got emotional over his lovers death. Who wouldn't?
Cruel is the only thing I can say about it. It was like haunting the Japanese with carving a message to him in the ice or for the Baltics who found the card next to a pot with a limb from someone like them.
Though I guess it's something that could have been...How do you put it..
It was sure that we are dealing with someone who isn't in his right mind since someone who would be in his right mind would not do such at cruel thing at all. The killer to me is also a sneaky mastermind who seems to get away with everything.
Most killers get caught soon after the deed is done but this guys has been killing nations for like 50 years by now. Also the fact that he seems to get the body from country to country without getting caught for shipping a hand or foot to a country.
That is the thing I still don't get how he did all of that. I just could not imagine what kind of sick mind was capable of doing such things. Someone like that needs to be locked up or rather be killed like he butchered those poor nations.
They were butchered like animals like pigs. That sick person didn't see them as people anymore but just as mere animals people eat every day he just butchered them..no mercy for none of them no matter who they were or what they represented.
None of us understood what is going on in that mind of his neither did Germany who like the ones before him had to suffer the pain of his lover being murdered and just left there like trash on the place so important for the italian.
Treaten like animals or trash…
We get no respect for what we do for humans it seems. We suffer to make them happy and we have sufferd to make the world like it is now.
Yet that is how they treat us.
